The room is too mordern and too small to stay husband and wife.

Young/modern design hotel which is strongly internet-based. They don't have a reception desk but instead they have two touchscreens for check-in/out. They place high value on ecological aspects, which I liked. My room was extremely small, but all in all an interesting and fun experience.

We stayed at the Hotel Hi Matic for 3 nights and were extremely satisfied. We got there before the check-in time and they held our bags for us. They use a self check-in/check-out so everything is quick. The rooms may be a bit small, but they are super clean and very cool looking. Every time I go back to Paris I will be staying here!

Hotel Hi-Matic was nice place to stay, The room was small yet cozy. Breakfast in the morning was a nice touch, and they have free tea and coffee until 6 pm. It is about a 10 minute walk from the Bastille metro, which isn't a bad walk. The staff was very appeasing. Overall, it isn't the best hotel you'll ever stay at, but it is certainly worth the price.

The Hi-Matic works best if Eco and Green, the name Matali Crasset and the idea of the Paris beyond the tourist brochure means something to you. Yes, the rooms are very small but they are oddly beautiful and super-clean. Yes, there is no traditional fawning front desk service but if you love privacy then this is not a problem. The Hi-Matic worked for me because the Bastille location was brilliantly convenient and for a few days I really felt like I was "living " in Paris. Not recommended for first time visitors to the city and not the best choice for the conventionally minded. I kinda love the reverse snobbery of this !

Mini Cabanes have no real bed, just a mattress on a plasticized foam baseboard on the floor. Shower is inches away from your mattress, no writing area, no sitting area, showers have no place for you to put your soap or shampoo. BUT, it's clean and the location is great, the neighborhood very lively with wonderful ethnic restaurants all around. Breakfast is included and it's very good (not eggs though).Very convenient to the Metro....it ain't cheap but Paris ain't either. Not recommended for anyone over 6 ft. or weighing over 175 lbs. You'll be strapped for space!

The hotel hi-magic is a self check, self serve mini hotel with very small rooms. The mini cabana is basically a mattress that covers almost the entire floor space of the room. The shower is right in your room as is the wash basin. If you weigh more than 175 lns and are over 6 ft tall you'll have a hard time in the shower. The room had a safe but placed way high that you'll need a ladder to get to it. There was hardly any place to place your luggage nor a desk to write or a real chair in the room.but breakfast which was inclded was very good and the usual solitary caretaker very helpful and friendly. If you're not planning to stay in your room, it's a great little place to crash, it'll force you to go out. Hotel is located in a working class neighborhood with great little ethnic restaurants nearby, very safe and charming. Though not terribly comfortable I would recommend it; think of being back in kindergarten with similar decor & furniture.

It is located near Charonne Station (line 9). It takes about 5 mins walk from the metro to hotel. Friendly staff. Most of them will communicate with you in French(of course, you are in France). I liked my stay in this hotel, but the room is extremely small. You don't have space to walk around your room (at all). I booked the mini cabin. So I'd say if you want more space, you should book other type of room. Bed sheets are really clean but room is a bit dusty. I think some windows do not open that's why. Breakfast is very simple. Bread,Jam, butter banana, tea, fruit juice, yogurt, water and other drinks like coffee and hot chocolate. I liked it because it seems very healthy. Overall I'd give 4 out of 5.

The room was clean. The location was excellent: lively and conveinient. The breakfast was very good and generous. The room was quiet. The disadvantages were that the room was very small. There were no curtains on the windows. The door to the toilet was transparent. There was no telephone or intercom to the reception person at the desk. The good out weighs the bad, so I would recommend this hotel, - certainly for short stays it is very conveinient.

A unique and colorful hotel. Self checking in and out system. Eco-friendly hotel, Organic breakfast and modern design. About 8 minutes walk to train station, Charonne, not on very convenient line. Not friendly if travelling with heavy lugguages or backpacks. lifts can only fit two standing person with minimal luggage of backpack, corridors are really narrow. The concept is pretty bold, minimal facilities, no fancy hotel sort of services, bathroom is not private, person sharing same room will be able to watch you bath. Toilet is in room with insufficient ventilation, so must pick a good time to poo... room so small you can't poo in private. Have to step over bed to reach bathroom. Its a very modern and pretty hotel but rooms are really small,

Freundlich, zuvorkommendes Personal, das wenn man es brauchte diskret und hilfreich zur Stelle war. Das Zimmer war absolut sauber und zweckmässig eingerichtet, wenn auch etwas klein mit wenig Stauraum. Wir haben uns in dem bunt eingerichteten, modernen Haus sehr wohl gefühlt und werden bei einem nächsten Besuch in Paris bestimmt wieder dieses Hotel buchen. Das vollwärtige, gesunde Frühsücksangebot war genau das was wir für einen guten Start in den Tag benötigten. Herzlichen Dank für eurer Bemühungen den Gästen den Aufenthalt in Paris zusätzlich zu verschönern :-)

El hotel estuvo muy adecuado. La habitación era idéntica a la que se muestra en la foto, muy colorida y moderna. El baño tiene poca privacidad, así que depende de con quién se comparta la habitación. Todo lo que hay en el desayuno es orgánico, y particularmente a mi me gustó mucho, aunque no a todos los de mi grupo; incluye pan, mermelada, mantequilla, yogur, cafe/chocolate de máquina y zumo. Repetiría sin dudarlo!

Hotel war für die Städtereise ok. Zimmer sind sehr sauber, allerdings auch sehr eng. Sehr gute Anbindung an die Haltestelle Charonne. 5 Minuten zu Fuß.

Hotel com visão de sustentabilidade, se preocupando com aproveitamento dos espaços e reciclagem dos materiais utilizados no hotel. Internet wifi grátis de muito boa qualidade, café da manha com alimentos orgânicos, porém poucas opções. Quarto completo, porém bem pequeno, o que torna desconfortável para pessoas que irão se hospedar por mais de 2 ou 3 dias. Não recomendo hospedagem com pessoas que não tenham intimidade, pois o banheiro não possui paredes (nem na região de banho ou vaso sanitário), divisão feitas de acrílico semi-transparente.

Alles in allem war das hotel gut.. Die zimmer sind einfach extrem klein und am letzten tag erschrack ich sehr als ich das bett ordnete und unter der matratze ein gebrauchtes kondom fand... Das personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die lage ist guet, mit paar sehr gemütlichen cafés und restaurants.. Das frühstück fanden wir gut, wenn man aber morgens grossen hunger hat, wird man nicht satt. Für so 1-2 nächte ist es aber angenehm und man erreicht die metro recht schnell.

Bodde i tre netter på Hi Matic. Alene - heldigvis, for det var ikke store rommet, og doen var ikke et eget rom, men med et slags skjermbrett foran:-) Inn - og utsjekk var i prinsippet selvbetjent på en data i lobbyen, med en ringeklokke som du får bruk for ved siden av. Da fikk man god hjelp av en dame som kom ruslene opp fra kjelleren. Beliggeneheten er flott, 10 min å gå til t-banen og området rundt Bastillen er hyggelig i seg selv. Alt i alt var jeg fornøyd, men er man to på rommet må man være godt kjent fra før - ellers blir man det:-)

Déçu! Chère, petite chambre, le concept minimaliste sert d'excuse à un concepte économique ou les économie se retrouve de partout sauf au niveau du prix.

Très bon point de chute pour un long weekend parisien. Petit dèj. bio excellent inclus et chambre cabane atypique pour celui ou celle qui aime l'originalité. Accueil très souriant ... et bibliothèque sur voyages et arts à disposition. Bravo.

Amusant concept néo écolo pour bobos mais le cote spartiate des chambres et surtout le petit déjeuner a la cave ne sont pas les points les mieux valorisants pour cet établissement. Par contre, le désign est propre et gai et l'ambiance plutôt sympathique Pour une nuit, pour essayer....sans plus

J'adore le concept le seul bémol c'est la taille de la chambre (cabine) mais l'espace d'accueil permet de travailler.

Comment dire ? Ne connaissant pas le "concept" de cet hôtel, j'y ai cherché longtemps le réceptionniste... avant de m’apercevoir que j'allais devoir me débrouiller tout seul face à une borne automatique ! (un peu comme dans les hôtels "Formule 1" situés en bordure d'autoroute... sauf que les prix pratiqués ici y sont 3 fois plus élevés... alors que la chambre n'y est pourtant guère plus grande !) Concernant la chambre "cabane", justement, choisissez BIEN la personne qui vous accompagne... car il n'y a AUCUNE intimité possible : les WC sont vitrés du sol au plafond, quant à la douche, entièrement vitrée elle aussi...elle donne carrément sur le lit ! Parlons-en du lit : une sorte de "futon" posé à même le sol... et que vous devez enjamber à chaque fois que vous voulez accéder à la douche : bonjour les "inondations" !!! Si la douches est assez moderne, on aurait aimé un support pour y poser le flacon de shampoing ou le gel douche...) Seul le petit déjeuner sort du lot. On y croise ENFIN un membre du personnel (Une personne tout à fait charmante et aimable) On regrette d'autant de n'avoir pas trouvé le même accueil à la réception "automatique" ! Les produits servis sont "bio"... mais on se serait quand même bien passés des couteaux et fourchettes jetables EN BOIS (issus forcement d'une forêt gérée de façon écologique...) car ils sont peu pratiques et, à ma connaissance, un couteau traditionnel en alu a, sur la durée, un impact environnemental moindre que des couverts jetables en bois... Bref, un hôtel "dans l'air du temps" de cet ancien quartier populaire reconverti aujourd'hui en temple des bobos branchés "écolo"... Cela peu plaire à certains. Dans ce cas, à "tester" UNE SEULE NUIT, avant de s'engager pour une plus longue période, histoire de juger par vous même de ce concept...

L'hitel est propre et sympa mais le prix n'est pas en rapport, bien trop cher pour la qualité et le service offert..

ESTAS SENTADO EN EL INODORO Y TU PAREJA TIENE Q VER TODO EL ESPECTACULO... ESO NO ES COMODO... LA HABITACION ES ALGO PEQUEÑA PERO PS CUENTA CON LO NECESARIO PARA PERSONAS Q SOLO NECESITAMOS DORMIR Y SEGUIR HACIENDO TURISMO ALGO BUENO ES EL SUPERMERCADO AL FRENTE.. LA ESTACION DE METRO CERCA Y EN GENERAL EL VECINDARIO ES TRANQUILO.

Si lo que se busca no es comodidad, cuidar el medio anbiente, comida organica y salida del hotel a un sitio de Paris donde se vive intensamente con gente joven y bares y restaurantes. si se busca eso esta todo bien . Muy bueno para pareja joven de novios y con poca plata.

Bon hôtel dans l'ensemble, bon rapport qualité prix. Mais il faut savoir avec qui vous partagerez votre chambre vu le manque d'intimité lié à la douche (vitrée vue sur les lits) et toilettes (très "ouvertes" également). Ceci mis à part, très sympa, concept marrant, personnel attentif une fois qu'on réussi à leur mettre la main dessus.

pour une visite sur PARIS de trois ou quatre jours l'hotel nous a été fort agréable ; par sa situation dans le 12 eme ; son modernisme .... chambre un peu petite mais super fun !!! acceuil tres agréable ! petit dej. EXTRA l'hotel a fait parti de l'ambiance géniale de cette mini semaine touristique à PARIS MERCI

goed. Kamer niet echt groot , maar toch voldoende. Erg leuke en apart concept. Daar moet je wel open voor staan uiteraard. Een aanrader voor hippe mensen! Locatie is top.

Chambre minuscule, 2 personnes ne peuvent même pas se croiser. Concept plus proche d'une auberge de jeunesse que d'un hôtel, il n'en va pas de même pour le prix. Finitions très négligées. Bof...

Es un hotel que busca ser moderno y diferente pero termina siendo incómodo. Por ej. la cama ocupa de pared a pared entonces hay que pasar por encima de la otra persona para llegar al baño o cerrar la ventana. Tambíen tiene un mueble por encima de la cama que cada vez que uno se levanta se golpea en la cabeza y la puerta de la habitación no abre del todo porque el sistema de apertura choca contra la pared. El desayuno es orgánico y excelente y la persona que sirve el desayuno tamibén es excelente. Está bien ubicado, cerca del Metro Charonne y a 10 min. de la Plaza de la Bastilla.

Hotellin sijainti on loistava, konsepti tuore ja palvelu hyvää. Huoneet ovat melko pieniä ja sänky on futon-tyyppinen - älä siis odota mitään perinteistä! Check-in ja -out ovat itsepalvelumuodossa tietokoneella. Aamiainen on runsas ja hyvä, luomua. Suosittelen lämpimästi muille nuorille!

La doccia è a 15 cm dal letto, senza alcuna separazione dallo stesso, il water è dietro una micro porticina in plexiglass, porta che non arriva neppure sino al soffitto. Non c'è un aspiratore. In pratica la privacy è assolutamente inesistente. é come dormire (per terra) in un grande bagno, o in una micro stanza con i sanitari a 1 metro dal cuscino. inoltre non ci sono armadi, ma solo un paio di mensole, l'attaccapanni è SOPRA il letto (ergo, se rientri con un impermeabile bagnato bagni il letto, sempre che non si sia già bagnato con la doccia....) Per il resto è nuovo, lo staff (una persona) è gentile e disponibile, è tutto colorato in simpatiche tinte, la colazione è buona, e nella hall risuona costantemente una musica new-age ambient.... Dovrebbero però fucilare l'architetto/designer che non ha separato il bagno dal letto. Sarei proprio curioso di vedere se anche in casa sua ha il water a fianco del letto.

Superbe situation rue de Charonne dans le 11e. Je suis allée le lendemain de l'ouverture et quelques détails restaient à régler. Mais le concept est amusant, les chambres sont gaies avec des couleurs vives bien qu'assez petites. Petit bémol pour la literie pas très confortable. Hôtel à recommandé pour les court séjour.
