Hotel Deca - A Noble House Hotel - سياتل

Easy commute to University of Washington Medical Centre. The hotel was located in a student neighbourhood, with a number of good restaurants. The front desk receptionists were all very friendly and accommodating. However, the disadvantage to this hotel is that the rooms were not cleaned thoroughly on a daily basis. The room services could be improved. IMy room next to an ice dispenser. Although, the ice dispenser was switched off at bed time (11pm), it started operating at early overs (around 6am). The noise from the ice dispenser could be heard from inside the room and definitely woke me up. Also, the wireless service was painstakingly slow! The gym was small and cozy but the hotel guest was allowed to use a near by gym at YMCA.

The price, service, comfort was fine but there are no nice restaurants for dinner within walking distance. A typical college neighborhood.

I paid for a King bed for a romantic getaway with my husband. We have a plush queen bed at home and was looking forward to a bit more space, but ended up getting two "queen" (more like "full") beds with a larger room. After calling the front desk to inquire, I was told that we received a "complimentary upgrade" to a larger room. The room was beautiful and spacious, with a perfect view of the Space Needle. But we ended up sleeping in separate beds for lack of sleeping space. Very romantic, right? Movies were not available either, and was told at 1AM to come down and check out some DVD's for free. The Hotel is beautiful, staff could be more accommodating, but we won't be back.

Arrived early at noon and had no issue with getting a room. Everything was as expected - clean, modern, well kept. The restaurant was not open for lunch on the weekend but did eat there in the evening. Quite casual, good service and reasonable prices. Checked out at 1:00 and my request to leave the car parked for a few hours was courteously met. If you want to be in the University area this hotel is a fine option.

The people who work the desk at the Hotel Decca were friendly, knowledgable and helpful. while the waiter we had downstairs for breakfast was aloof to the point of being rude. Also breakfast was expensive and nothing special. It surprised me that the hotel does not provide body lotion in the room. The ambience at the hotel overall is charming. The location was perfect for us. We loved our 180 degree view from the 15th floor.

The design of the room was fantastic. It was modern and chic. Also, the view was freaking amazing. The sunset on the water, the city lights and the space needle all made for a beautiful view. Amenities wise there definitely could have been more free amenities for how expensive it was. But I was happy that because of the Expedia deal I got our parking was included.

When we got to hotel power was out had to walk 10 floors to our room it was out for 3 hours the dining room people went home lounge people went home there was no food to eat they didnt call us to let us no the room keys were ready so we could use elevater to come back to room for a first time visitor wasnt inpressed could of gave us a discount or free breakfast or something just keep saying nothing we can do sorry.

Great location. Just a couple blocks from the freeway. Walking distance to drug and grocery stores. Short drive to the university or the space needle etc. Very nice lounge too with good happy hour deals. Highly recommend.

Great stay. They adjusted the bed selection at check-in and brought up a refrigerator and microwave

I was expecting a good experience at the Deca and was not disappointed. The room was large and well-appointed with the only negative being the inside temperature. Apparently, the heat was still on from the winter, so outside temperatures in the high-60s and low-70s made me wish for air conditioning. Unfortunately, that wasn't an option during our stay. The parking spaces in the hotel's lot were tighter than I am used to, so that presented a challenge as I was parking (beaching) a mini-van. My husband had to get out of the van and direct me each time we needed to park. Of course, all the parking in Seattle is challenging. We did take the hotel's shuttle to the zoo which was a great option. It not only saved us the expense of parking but also the aggravation of dealing with traffic. Overall, our experience was extremely positive, so we will definitely consider another stay the next time we visit our daughter.

We love Hotel Deca and stay there every time we're in Seattle. It's location is perfect, the rooms are great, and the staff is the friendliest I've ever experienced.

No A/C No pressure in the shower Too far from downtown

When I lived in Seattle, I was familiar with the meeting facilities here so when I came back to town on business I thought it was a good time to throw them more business. It is a quick trip to downtown without all the hustle and bustle. I was not disappointed. The staff was friendly and got me checked in quickly (it was really late). The room was clean and had the most comfortable bed and pillows. In the morning I had a great breakfadt in the cafe. This hotel was an A+ experience

Wonderful updated but still deco hotel and room. Hotel quickly provided refrigerator and microwave when we found the room lacked them. This is one of our favorite Seattle U district hotels. The Tully's coffee right off the lobby is also appreciated by this pair of espresso drinkers.

We stayed at Hotel Deca this past Easter because it my wife's birthday, and we stayed there exactly the same day four years ago while we were dating. We didn't have to stay in your hotel as we now live in Seattle - we just wanted to celebrate our special day together at the "old" place. However, we can't say the stay exceeded our expectations. We booked a King-sized bed just like we did four years ago, but upon checking in we were informed that the only room left was a studio with a full-sized bed. Without any other choice, we accepted the room, slept in the small bed (we have a much larger bed at home). We were still happy as we had a good time together. I hope you can make this right for us - otherwise, to be honest, we don't see any reason to come back to this hotel if the bed type cannot be guaranteed. Thank you very much! Best, Chunyi

Walking distance to UW, good food around that area. Easy parking. They charge daily rate. To area is about 15 minutes driving. Slightly small for rest room. But it is clean. It is good to stay there.

The Deca has always been clean and friendly and comfortable. They are responsive to needs that went unnoticed and they recently remodeled the rooms which was a nice plus. The only thing negative I have to say is: don't rely on their internet. It's free, but it's so slow you can barely do anything at all on them aside from email and patiently waiting for simple requests like checking the local weather. I tried to get work done twice during my stay and was unable to because my work involves frequent downloads of files and it was so slow as to just not be possible. I also tried to watch a Netflix movie a few times but that wasn't working either. I listened to internet-radio a few times to keep up on my home-town's local news -- and that worked but with multi-second pauses in the playback about every 15-30 seconds. The Deca really needs to do something about their internet, it's performance is late-90s quality -- which I would accept if staying at an out-of-the-way rural bed-and-breakfast but certainly not in such a high-tech metro area.

We did enjoy our stay a perfect location ! our room was the only problem as we had paid for a king size room with a small fridge and we got a double bed which was very small! We still managed as it was very clean and comfortable! they had over booked obviously ! People as the front desk couldn't be more helpful they were great!

Our air conditioner did not work. Room was very stuffy. Walls were very thin and could hear neighboring couple. Fitness center was sub par. Did not even have the basics.

I really liked the vibe at this hotel. Kind of W like. The rooms were spacious, well designed, the lobby and lounge bar was nice. All and all - a great place to stay and had some great places you would walk to.

We were pleased with our stay at Deca. We made reservations online and hadn't seen the hotel and were pleased with everything. Although it isn't a new hotel, it was nicely decorated, the staff was friendly and accommodating. And most important for us, it was close to the bus line for going downtown and also close to our son's house. Great area to stay!

This is the most convenient hotel for parents visiting students at UW. The room was big enough for my daughter to have a sleepover with me. With the students wanting to spend time on and off with a parent over the weekend, having a good location is important. This is a great home base.

We were so pleased with the quality of this hotel. The bed was very comforable and the room was very clean and attractive. Loved the soap, shampoo, and body wash dispensers in the bathroom! We will definitely stay here again.

Hotel was beautiful, staff were both fun and professional. Dinner in the lounge was super tasty! My 10th floor room was so quiet, it made hallway noise very noticeable. There were complimentary earplugs, but opening the window or running a small fan would have easily covered the small amount of hallway traffic.

Updated boutique hotel. Good location near University of Washington. Room was clean, comfortable, and very basic. Restaurant downstairs was a little pricey but tasty. Hotel charges $16 a day for parking which I thought was a bit much. Would definitely repeat stay.

The view, room, staff was all amazing.

The building is older, but it has been tastefully redecorated and remodeled. The staff left nothing to be desired (except for one oddity: the hand towels hung next to the tub while the bath towels were across the room.) We had a corner room with a great view of Lake Union and the Space Needle. Wireless signal wasn't very strong.

An older building updated nicely. Room was large (all are outside rooms). Closet was walk-in and very large. My wife loved the deep tub. Two lounge chairs were in the room as well as a desk and chair. No microwave or refrigerator (could have requested from front desk). Plenty of parking. Tully's coffee shop just off the lobby.

I wanted a great place for my girlfriend and I to get away to that felt luxurious, fun, hip and romantic. This hotel provided it all. Would definitely return and recommend to anyone for either business or pleasure. The staff was very courteous, kind and helpful!

Very pleasant & welcoming. Speedy check in & out. I was very happy to be upgraded to a newly refurbished junior suite. It was spacious & very comfortable. Good value.

Long wait at desk to check in; noted smell of vanilla or citrus to cover perhaps smoker? in my room. Good value for price though. Parking right there and reasonable rates.

I stayed at Hotel Deca on New Years Eve, and they were excellent. The front desk staff were very accomodating; one of my suitcases had a broken zipper and they helped me to get it taped up so I could carry it easier. They also made sure that even with the holiday, they were able to keep the noise down for their guests. The location is good, but not great; it's a small drive to most of the good stuff in Seattle, but not terribly far away. Overall, A+!

We loved this hotel, excellently customer service, nice rooms, close to everything we needed. This hotel will become our go to when in Seattle.

The decor of the place is great. Easy location to reach. Overnight parking very reasonable. We liked the the cafe lounge in the lower level and two happy hours with reasonable prices. We were ther when UW was not in season or no games and it was very quiet. We had a corner room with a nice view. One drwbakc was the bed wasa in the corner and one side agains the wall. Great for one person.....double bed for two makes manuervering a bit diffiult if and wheh you have to get up in th emiddle of the night. We would stay again if we were in the area.

I was surprised that I had to pay for parking simce there was no indication anywhere online. I was also surprised that my room didn't have a microwave oven and small refrigerator; that was a disappointment. The room was clean & attractive & if the. rate is competive, I would prefer to stay here

While not a fan of faux Art Deco, I can't fault the hotel on any grounds, it was clean, spacious, and comfortable with an attentive staff. The decor wasn't bad at all, certainly better than a chain.
