The room smelled like Doritos. The carpet was dirty, and so was the furniture. However the bed seemed clean. Hotel staff were nice though Overall, would not stay in this hotel again.

The staff was amazing. They were very friendly and went out of their way to help me in any way... BUT the room was NASTY! When I turned the shower on BROWN water came out. The microwave went off every few hours all night long. It looked as though someone had sprayed urine all over the door going outside. I WILL NOT stay here again. The only thing that I was satisfied with here was the very friendly hotel staff.

Carpet strongly needs to be replaced. Overall stay was comfortable

It was a vry uncomfortable stay. The carpet is beyond nasty, and gross. I did not even want my dog to touch it. We wore shoes until we went to bed. It had a strong scent of deoderizer to cover up the fact that it was not clean. The desk, tables were full of old soda. The neighborhood was quite scary, people walking the streets ALL night. The breakfast was rotten fruit, expired muffins, and cheap cereal. Not fit for anyone to eat. If I had not prepaid I would have left when I walked into my room. This place really needs to be sut down. This is the worst place I have ever stayed in. Really uncomfortable stay. Stay else where, wish I had.

Considering the rooms have carpets, they must use a deodorizer for them. However, it was so strong that it sent my allergies out of control, I could not breathe, my husband could not sleep, the smell was in his throat. I did bring my own blankets and pillows, towels, and when I got home, the smell was so strong that it was absorbed into my things. Check to see if your microwave and fridge work, the fridge did not close , we had to put something in front of it, and did not know until morning that the microwave did not work. I did tell the front desk when I checked out, now to see if they do something about it. The room was VERY CLEAN, up to date, and was very pleasant, just the smell.

The room was nice and clean enough for our quick overnight stay. The linens were very clean. However, the carpet and upholstered chair were pretty nasty! Our 3 year old had black feet after walking on the carpet! The continental breakfast was good and very kid friendly. It was definitely okay for the price!

Where do I start with the Jameson Inn. I booked a single king. When I checked in, I was informed they were all out of kings. She said she could put us in a room with 2 queens, but the lock was broken on the door so we would have to go to the front desk every time we wanted in the room. We were here for a wedding and would be coming in and out all day, including a late night. We told her it was not acceptable to be in a room that didn't have a lock. So she then 'upgraded' us to a double queen with a mini-fridge and microwave. When we got in the room the 'queen' beds were really full beds. Oh, and she put is next to the highway even though there were only a few other customers and plenty of rooms on the backside of the building, as well as a separate building full of additional rooms. Room was clean enough, staff was friendly, but I would never, ever stay here again.

We came to visit our History in Selma. The Jamison Inn was conveniently located for our needs. It was comfortable for our needs.

mid grade hotel not worth the price. The rooms were clean but old furniture and stains on carpet. The room key would not work. A lot of road noise as it was outside rooms. cheap breakfast
