Nice staff very comfortable bed.

I want to start out by saying that this hotel was very clean and meets all the needs that you would have for an overnight stay. It is, however, extremely outdated. The numbers on the doors are printed on white printer paper and are scotch taped to the doors. I could understand if this were temporary, but other reviews from a couple months ago said the same thing. It's just a bit tacky, especially for what this hotel costs. It's not expensive by any means, but certainly not cheap enough to have paper numbers. I read previously that there was no elevator and so I was not surprised by that. However, there were three hotel employees sitting at the front area when I arrived late at night with far too much baggage to carry up two slights of stairs alone. No one offered to help and so I made multiple trips up the stairs. I did not try the breakfast because I was in a hurry. As far as surrounding location, there didn't seem to be much in the area. I will be spending the extra 10 minutes to drive to Marion next time.

The hotel was clean, the room was clean, they were renovating the front desk and breakfast area. The pool was comfortable and clean. While they were in the process of doing renovations I was able to overlook some minor inconviences. The staff were working around the workmen at times yet they were helpfull and courteous. If I would be back in that area I would stay there again.

More of a fresher selection for breakfast, it wasn't very fresh. Update decor. Add real number plates to the door instead of taped ones.

The reason for my stay was based solely on location. I feel the price for this hotel was excessive for the lack of quality as well as location. Although, it seems to be the best available in that area, as sad as that is. It is for that reason only that I would stay there again, lack of options.

Blood on shower curtin breakfast prouduct old. Room was non smoking but smelled of smoke bad.Had 4 days booked stayed one and left went to a very nice bed & breakfast.

Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel staff was curteous and responsive. All gps/maps show incorrect location of hotel.

Just needs an elevator !!! Otherwise, very comfortable and clean.

the ground floor hallway could stand to have the carpet restretched; there were some lumps showing and that seemed out of place as the rest of the structure looked neat. The temporary room numbers was less than impressive; have a sign posted that explains the use of such paper room numbers. Breakfast...of the three days there we were only able to solve the puzzle of breakfast hours once. The last night there our tv suddenly developed an issue and we were transferred to a different room. The walls were PAPER THIN. found that unsettling. Overall though, given the location and the surrounding stores, I would stay there again. I do not agree with the pricing versus the quality of room but given that there is limited competition, what can one do?

Probably the best hotel in Harrisburg (out of a handful of choices). Very clean. Breakfast ok, nothing to get excited about. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had a low water pressure problem in the shower and the manager assured us it would be fixed or he'd get us another room. Well the next day I had plenty of water, but then my husband didn't...odd.

We enjoy staying at the Harrisburg, Illlinois Comfort Inn because we always have a quiet night's sleep. Also, the motel is close to a supermarket where we can shop for food items. And it is close to a nice restaurant where we can buy dinner. We usually have a 5-night stay and so we like to take walks during the time we're not spending with family. There is a great path in the neighborhood near the motel where we can walk. We REALLY appreciate having a refrigerator in our room where we can keep cold milk to go with snacking. The housekeeping personnel are always so courteous and accomodating - as well as the desk clerks.

The Management of this hotel is prob ably the worse I have ever seen or had the displeasure of dealing with. He & his wife (?) insist on arguing about everything that is wrong. I do not know their names but they looked to me like middle easterns. He was a heavy set man. Everytime I told them someithing was wrong the male agrued with me and said I was wrong. It was a very horrible experience and I would never recommend this place to anyone and I shall never stay there again. I have never expereinced a more unfriendly set than these two. The housekeeper finally had to tell the heavy set male the light in the bathroom did not work even though I told hime and he insisted the light work. He eventually got off his butt and changed the bulb in order for it to work. There was more but I do not want to take the time to explain it all. NEVER AGAIN!

Every one at the hotel was helpful. With two young children and no elevators, the staff assisted getting children to the room. (1) minor complaint: a lighting and rain storm came through and we had to leave the pool early, HA. All is outstanding.
