Hilton Austin Airport - أوستين

We stayed here because we had an early morning flight. The location is super convenient and they have a shuttle every 30 min to the airport which was nice. I did find the set up of the hotel kind of awkward though, it wasn't well designed for folks with alot of luggage (which you might expect being right next to an airport and all). You had to walk all the way across a large atrium with an uneven floor. Not really a big deal but if you are tired before or after flying and carrying alot with you it just seems a bit annoying. I also thought it was a bit overpriced considering most ppl just want to get to the airport and probably won't be taking advantage of any of the hotel services.

Very nice and clean. On the pricey side and they don't tell you ahead of time that there is an additional $11 per night parking charge. I thought that was crazy, have never had to pay for parking at a hotel.

The hotel was satisfactory, although the double beds truly are double beds--tight squeeze for two adults! Amazingly quiet for being right next to the airport. Needed ear plugs when visiting the outdoor pool though! The biggest negative was our dining experience. Took over two hours to receive our food, many other patrons had the same wait and we saw some get up and leave before their food arrived. There were many apologies citing short-staffing in the kitchen, but they really should have cut their menu offerings down to just their bar menu to simplify and get people food in a timely manner. Our server was not knowledgeable on the menu or the seasonal beer offering and did not bother going to find out answers to our questions, just throwing up her arms instead and saying "I really can't tell you!". The food, when it arrived, was fine, but we had lost our appetite by that time(10:10 p.m.!) and didn't eat much. There was no break on the bill either. We ordered food "to go" for our kids when we first sat down....that came after an hour and 20 minutes, but they forgot the gravy for my son's chicken strips. It took another 20 minutes to get that from them so the strips were cold.... It was all I could do to keep from going into the kitchen to take charge myself! Also, they charge for parking, which seemed unusual given the setting. We're used to paying at downtown locations where parking is at a premium, but this hotel was all by itself with an ample parking lot. Valet parking was $15 and self-parking was $8. We elected to drop our rental off immediately after unloading and avoid that charge altogether.

Several meals were included with the conference I attended, and as a vegetarian, it was no problem getting meatless meals during the banquets where I couldn't eat what was on the menu. I appreciated the extra service. Housekeeping might want to pay better attention - there was a half-eaten peanut butter and jelly sandwich perched on the push-bar of the security door going toward the third floor elevators for more than a day. Yuck. Still, overall, would recommend. Very convenient location.

Hotel could use some updating

If you are traveling through Austin and need a good nights rest this is the perfect hotel. But if you want to take in a bit of what Austin has to offer, this is a bad choice.

Don't care for the pillows and the type of comforter. Some folks are allergic to the pillows and the comforter is too hot. Just provide in the closet a simple blanket and some firm foam pillows. Thanks.

Friendly staff, close to airport, but far from any restaurants besides their own lounge.

Close to the airport. Friendly staff. The bar had a great selection of local beers and a good menu.

Hotel had everything I needed: clean spacious bathroom with nice amenities, comfortable bed with clean sheet-covered spread, good thermostat, quiet, dependable wake up call, on time shuttle to airport. No complaints at all.

The hotel itself is well-kept and functional. The staff is very friendly.

Good location, rooms are clean, but we did notice a small bug crawling in our room. Could be just a fluke though. We killed the bug, not a big deal. Now, with its location just out side of air port, and nothing but land, why does parking cost $11 a night? and no free internet? In this day and age, both of these items should be included.

Enjoyed my last night in Austin at this Hotel. The staff was kind and always willing to help. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.

The hotel was perfect for what we needed as we were flying out of Austin the day after we checked in. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet (even with an airport next door). The breakfast service was a bit slow and they charged us for 2 buffets when we only had one, but things were quickly remedied. Again, just what we needed.

It was a great hotel and the room was very nice. The location/access to the airport was the reason we stayed, but I would stay again just because. A little pricey but worth it.

The price was great, the location could not be more convenient, the free airport shuttle is super convenient, the service from everyone was stellar, the room was immaculate and the bed was SO comfortable- something I was not expecting as most hotel beds are tolerable at best. The grounds are gorgeous- when you walk in you feel like you're walking into another outdoor space. It's lush and clean and makes you feel important. Check in could not have been faster and no checkout was needed- awesome. We stayed here the night of our wedding as we flew out for our honeymoon at 5am the next morning. We ended up getting in at 2:30am so between bringing up our bags, wedding night shenanigans and showers we only got to sleep for about an hour, but it was great. I could not have been more pleased and I'm still surprised at how great the rate was for how fabulous a hotel this is. Why isn't this hotel rated 5 stars??? We will definitely be back.

Not a bad hotel, they automatically bill your credit card an extra $11 for parking so be prepared for that.

Although I enjoyed the cleanliness and the comfort of the room, I was disappointed that the Hilton charged an additional charge for practically everything. At most hotels, I am able to receive the internet for free in my room, and they provide a continental breakfast. However, at this location, I was charged for both in addition to parking fees. I was surprised that I had to pay to park. The hotel was nice but I spent money that I found was ridiculous to ask of your guests.

The hotel was as expected. It is a fairly new building and adhered to the standards of Hilton, the lobby area was open and inviting and the rooms clean and comfortable with a nice, clean, functional bathroom. I did not have a meal at the hotel so I cannot comment on the quality of the food but the menu looked good with selection for all tastes. The location is good if you need a base near the airport but is a bit far from downtown. Even with ample parking space, the was still a charge for overnight parking which I found a bit sketchy. Overall I'd recommend this hotel as I would stay there again.

When we first arrived the Hotel seemed a bit deserted. The economy has really impacted the energy from this HIlton. The staff was very friendly but a little quite. They all seemed a bit melancholy. We did dine at the restaurant on site and the food was great. The room was very clean as well. The only draw back is that there is no other building in site for 20 minutes out. Its a perfect Hotel to stay in if its just for the night but since my daughter and I had to spend 5 hours until our flight left, There was not much to do but hang out at the lounge area and watch TV. Again the staff was courteous and accomadating.

Close to the airport, so I was worried about being "stuck" for dinner & breakfast. front desk clerk gave me a free breakfast buffet coupon (saved $15 right there) and the bar has a happy hour from 4-7pm daily. $3.50 domestics, $4 imports wells, 25% off wine bottles too. The dinners ranged from $10-20, chicken fried steak (huge) with 2 sides was only $16. My room was well proportioned, with a king bed, good sized bathroom. A/C was a little loud with the fan on medium, I just turned the temp lower & kept the fan on lowest speed. 2 elevators made for a zero wait. Stay here versus the other "airport" hotels as they are much further out on 71, and pretty much only offer a waffle house and denny's as dining alternatives.

This hotel is very close to the airport and good for a short stay. It is very comparable to other average hotels, but twice the price of an average hotel. It is not your stereotypical Hilton. We were satisfied with the cleanliness of the room and hotel service. The heated outdoor pool and hot tub were fantastic. The pool area is supposed to close at 10pm, but hotel workers were fine with us staying out there much later than that. We were staying here on vacation, but this is definitely a business hotel. All we saw were people in suits, pilot uniforms, flight attendant uniforms, etc. This hotel is more suited for short business stays in our opinion. It is pretty basic with amenities and is definitely more pricey than it is worth. There was no continental breakfast, no free internet in the rooms, no free parking, no small refrigerator, etc. Everything seemed to come with a fee here, which is not ideal for vacation. There was a small restaurant were you can buy meals. You can get free wireless in the lobby, but not your room. Paying to park was the worst. There was no shortage of land around the hotel, so we could not figure out why it was so expensive to park a car. The free airport shuttle was one nice perk we received. Overall, we were fairly satisfied with this hotel, but would probably not stay again due to the many fees, high cost of the room and few amenities.

I stayed at this hotel specifically because it is the only one on airport property. While not connected to the terminal it is only a 5 minute shuttle ride away. (You have to call the hotel for pick up.) The facility was average but the location makes this the best place to be close to AUS.

This hotel is 1 minute from the airport building entrance. If you have a rental drop it off the night before and take the hotel shuttle in the morning. If you park a car there is charge even if you are a guest of the hotel. Room service was excellent. Food was good and hot. We were very satisfied with the room and service. Tip: the next closest lodging would not be as safe. There are some not so touristy areas just outside the airport. There is a business office where you can print airport documents and a hotel shuttle. Very satisfied.

We stayed at the Hilton before we left for our honeymoon so we could catch an early flight out of Austin. The spacious rooms are awesome and the hotel is great to lounge in. I love finding excuses to stay here!

Great service, nice room, and excellent food at the hotel restaurant. Perfect stop for travelers needing a hotel close to the airport for early morning flights from Austin.

Nice hotel. Very convenient to the airport. However, there is a parking fee of $11 per night which I did not know about. Imagine, a parking fee in Texas!

I have stayed at this hotel for one night. The ambience is nice BUT there are a lot of hidden charges. they billed me A LOT for parking. Even calling Houston is considered a "LONG DISTANCE INTER-STATE CALL", which I think is BS. They charged exhorbitantly for each call which I think is ridiculous. When I told the reception manager that Houston is not INTER STATE but INTRA-STATE, he simply said he can change the wording on the bill and print it for me. This hotel is just not for common people.

The property was beautiful inside and out. The room was perfect! Linens were wonderful. The pool and spa were very nice -- saltwater was a nice touch! We had room service dinner -- the food was superb! Excellent workout room equipment too. We got a great value through Hotels.com and will definitely stay here again when travel brings us to Austin.

The big selling point of this hotel is the park and fly deals. We didn't fly anywhere, so as a Hilton hotel, I didn't feel it was up to the standards set by a chain such as Marriott.

For travelers, this hotel is everything you could possibly ask for & more. The rooms were spacious & clean. The restaurant & bar had great selections & the airport shuttle was on time & helpful upon arrival at the hotel as well as the airport.

First we walked into a horrible smelling room, but that was corrected with another room. We arrived back at the hotel at 10:30 and the other travelers with us and ourselves started trying to order room service. The other couple got through and ordered two meals, but nothing ever came to the room. We could never get through until after 11:00 pm, at which time we could not order from the regular menu. Room service should not be advertised as available until 11:00 pm if they won't answer the phone after 10:30.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for the first night of our honeymoon before flying internationally the next morning. The night manager was extremely accommodating for our late arrival and arranged for us to have some extra services for that night. The room was excellent and the service was excellent.
