Excellent choice. Could not have asked for more.

We enjoyed our stay. The ONLY drawbacks were the wi-fi access fee PER DEVICE and parking fee. Otherwise, awesome location, great staff, free breakfast was over the top.

The staff was friendly, room clean, and convenient.

Good stay and good breakfast. But poor in parking. very expensive in parking and poor in acknowledge in surrounding services. Especially parking service.

I arrived and got confused because the reception is on the upper floor and there was no concierge to explain. Then I had a terrible experience at front deck because somehow a mistake was made and I was booked for a smoking King room and I do not smoke. The hotel claimed they had no more king room and I had to resort to a regular room. That killed my whole nights stay!!

Was only a 1 day stay. 1. Tub water did not drain properly - took shower standing in 8 inches of bath water. 2. Loud at night - was woke up 3 times throughout night by fire trucks that were so loud I thought it was the fire alarm of the hotel itself. 3. Air conditioner in room was not working properly - was set at lowest temp and still not keeping room cool.

From the moment we pulled into Valet parking until we pulled away, we were quite pleasantly surprised by the level and the sincerity of the service provided by the staff at this Embassy Suites. The hospitality of the housekeeping staff, the immediate responses by everyone ever asked for anything was nothing short of wonderful. And, because they have been given the tools (walkie-talkies) and procedures to accommodate any wish or desire, they are able to accomplish everything they want to accomplish. They don't just say they are glad you're here, they ensure you are!

The hotel was awesome! Everyone was extremely helpful when we needed anything even if it was advice where to eat. We had four kids with us so the size of our room was wonderful. The kids had the living room to watch rvedly and the adults could still relax in the bedroom area. Plus the beds were super comfortable and we spent long days sightseeing so knowing u were going to get a good nights rest was key. The location was great, short distance to a lot of fun activities and it made it so easy to make this trip a memorable one!

Outstanding room, free refreshments in the evening and breakfast in the morning. Internet was a bit pricey, but the location of the hotel near the Magnificent Mile and Gold Coast as well a Dominicks just across the street the is open late into the night made it an ideal place to stay. The view of Lake Michigan from my room in the morning as spectacular.

I really like the hotel. Everything you'd expect an Embassy Suites was there. Unfortunately, I could hear all the conversations going on in the room next to me through the air vents and frankly, that was annoying. The service and facility were very nice and location was terrific!

The staff was friendly and helpful and the location was terrific. Made to order breakfast was excellent if not timely due to long lines but overall was good. On the down side, our room had a distinct odor of smoke although it was supposed to be nonsmoking. The hotel was cleaning out their duct work (getting ready for air-conditioning?) and we were in the lobby when all of a sudden there was a terrific noise and dust and lint rained down on everything. We were picking dust bunnies out of our hair for a while afterwards. The management said they would compensate us but they didn't.

Four a two day business trip to Chicago, this was a great option due to the proximity of our clients. Convenient complementary breakfast buffet, easy check in and out procedures

As two friends on vacation we chose this hotel because it offered suites of two separate rooms - sitting room and bedroom. That meant that we could do our own thing separately if we wanted. One of us is an early riser so could potter about in the sitting room and watch TV or read without disturbing the other. The suite was well equipped with microwave and fridge and the hotel gave excellent information about where to buy food and where to eat out with a helpful map (no 26 on the map is a Thai restaurant - worth checking out!!) The location is excellent - we were able to walk to many of the places we wanted to see and use the "El" and buses for travel around Chicago otherwise. Good breakfast with cooked to order, as well as buffet. We were there for 10 days so breakfast choice got a bit boring. Nice swimming pool and sauna and excellent manager's drinks reception with nibbles every evening. The coffee was truly nasty - both in the room and in the breakfast room. We later stayed at Embassy Suites near O'Hare airport (cancelled flight!) and the coffee there was also very bad! That's the only negative - take your own coffee. Otherwise, I would happily book again.

We Enjoyed The Hotel, Managers Reception And Breakfast. It Was A Great Stay For Our Girls Weekend!

My stay there was very good, I like this hotel. I am visiting every year for a convention - fair.

The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was very good, even though a bit crowded. Didn't have a chance to use pool as it was way too crowded with families with children. The only real complaint would be that the walls in the rooms are very thin. Our neighbors were very loud and we could hear everything easily in our room. Definitely not a hotel to go to if you are looking for peace and quiet.

Nice hotel. Large comfortable rooms. Delicious breakfast included. Dominick's grocery and Starbucks right across the street and you can walk to the magnificent mile shopping and restaurants!

Overall the location of this hotel was certainly great. The downstairs valets were very kind and professional. Front desk staff are kind of rude. No one seems to answer the phone when you call operator, concierge, etc. Perhaps it is purposeful that "Guest Services" extension is missing on room phones? Additionally, housekeeping needs to remember the details, e.g. please remember to check coffee supplies!

the Embassy Suites is in a good location, easy to the El and walking to hotspots. The hotel itself was nice- clean, room was comfortable and spacious. The included breakfast was awesome and the breakfast staff was great- the omelet chef was fantastic. the rest of the service staff at the hotel stunk. They made you feel like you were bothering them to be there. Concierge was non-existent when you had questions, stayed hidden behind the wall. Check in lines were enormous and you could see other employees standing around instead of opening another desk. Bell service was terrible. And no one seemed willing or even able to give us directions.

The Magnificent Mile is a 2 min walk from the hotel. The Concierge was very helpful in giving directions, recommending restaurants and even booking tickets to Second City. The breakfast was hot with lots of healthy and not so healthy choices. All the staff were personable and professional. Complimentary WiFi would have been helpful and really should be included as a matter of course in all hotels in North America.

The air vent in our room clinked all night. the mattress was shot. Did not sleep well at all. Then at 7 in the morning you can hear the neighbors fighting, sounded like they were in the same room with me. The managers greeting was nice and the breakfast buffet was ok.

I did get woke up quite a bit during the night (2:30 a.m. and on), with people talking next door and playing music. Seemed like the walls were kinda thin. Too bad because I had a long drive the next day.

I stayed here because it was a hundred dollars less than where my co-workers were staying, but only a block away. It was fantastic, and apparently offered many amenities that they were getting for the additional cost. I'd stay here again any day.

Never expect to use DISCOVER credit-card at this hotel's parking lot--You have to pay in CASH!!! Room is small but okay....

didnt care for having to pay 51.00 a day for parking at a hotel i was a guest at wont do that again or recomend anybody to stay there just cause of that

Hotel employees are very polite, courteous and friendly. Hotel rooms are very spacious. Breakfast was great with cook to order omelettes. Kids had fun swimming in the pool . location was perfect, walking distance to navy pier and magnificent mile area. we will certainly consider staying there again in the future.

Great hotel for small families - the breakfast was great. The pool is smaller than it looks on the website and it gets very busy. It did get a little noisy on the weekend. The hotel resturant was closed for renovation when we got there - this was a surprise, I was planning on us eating there when we arrived in the evening.

If you did not use an Embassy Suite before, be aware that it is popular with families because it is easy to sleep 4 in a kind of "small apartment". The downside is that breakfast is Buffet style and all inclusive for all guests, so is kind of a low end quality "bun fight" with queing and a scrable for seats during busy periods. If you are on holiday with kids and you don't mind half of them still being in pajamas at breakfast, then it is OK, but it is not really a business hotel environment. Also in this one there was no evening restaurant and poor room service, but it is located quite near central Chicago, so there are plenty of options outside of the hotel.

Over-all experience was good however , the entrance to lobby and parking was very confusing and frustrating.

This hotel is a few blocks to the Magnificent Mile and is definitely worth it. They offer complimentary breakfast and happy hour each day and it is great! I stayed here with three girlfriends for a girls weekend and would without a doubt return again.

Service at check in was poor. Bags took long to arrive to room. Pool area not as nice a picture leads to believe. Manager cocktail hour sounds nice but I would rather pay for a quality beer or cocktail.

Requested and paid extra for lakefront view* instead woke up looking at a good ol construction zone. TV would turn itself on and off. Also would change channels by itself. Good thing I didn't bother watching a movie.. The toilet needed to be fixed. Hounded by bums nearby. Love Embassy but not this one.

The staff went above and beyond expectations. Very friendly and enthusiastic from the food servers to the valet. I would gladly stay here with my family again.
