We love staying here. There are shops and restaurants at your back door. Love it! Room spotless, price is great.

Really great hotel. Wonderful service and staff.

We really enjoyed this hotel. It was a wonderful experience and close to many of the attractions we were interested in. Next time we need to stay in Charlotte we will definitely go back!

The hotel and the general area were all great. The staff, the room, the surrounding area, plenty of stores and restaurants. While this may sound like there is alot of congestion in the area, we did not feel that way at all. There is a small lake with a boardwalk beside the hotel. There are walkways around the lake and benches. Our room had a lake view which was very nice to look at instead of a view of the parking lots. The only issue we had was the bed. They were soft and comfortable, but every time one of us moved it would make the other occupant move or even bounce, similar to a waterbed feeling. Other than that it was all good and we would definitely go back to this hotel.

Great hotal if you like basketball players. Proximity to a basketball arena makes this big "jock" hotel. Naturally they are very quiet, well mannered people.

Got complimentary champagne with chocolate covered strawberries

No audible or visual alarms during a fire alarm. Music banquet room reached our room on the 6th floor after midnight. No free breakfast.

I was disappointed with this particular Hilton. The lounge is not open on weekends nor do they have a complimentary breakfast. I could have spent half as much money for the same amenities at another hotel in this area. Service was fast and friendly, rooms were clean, although the heater/ac was a little noisy, and it was close to a lot of activities. But, so were 5 other hotels that are just as clean, with cocktails and breakfast.

When we first got to the hotel I did not have high hopes. It looks pretty dumpy/old from the outside truthfully. The lobby was not that way at all though, and the room was nice also. Nothing was over the top great but it wasn't bad either. There were several various types of hair on our sheets when we got to the room, but we called the front desk & someone showed up about 5 minutes later to change the sheets. We ordered room service breakfast which was good but too much food. The air handling unit was insanely loud when it turns on & off though. That woke me up several times during the night, even with our white noise machine going.

Good price, clean room, great staff. I recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the University area.

Did not have a whirlpool as advertised on hotels.com, only a whirlpool suite. Other than that, service was friendly and pillows were really comfy!

we chose this hotel because it was a 4 star hotel. unfortunately, the room was no different from your standard holiday inn. there wasn't a microwave, mini-refrigerator, free breakfast, or any extra space. this hotel should have been the same price as a 3 star hotel because there wasn't much about it to make it a 4 star.

The hotel is conveniently located near the Charlotte UNC Campus making it an ideal location for visiting family and friends. There's plenty to do in the area as well.

The hotel staff were very friendly and check-in was smooth and fast- we were actually able to check in a few hours early without a problem. The room was comfortable and clean and the location was close to anything you may need. We would definitely recommend this hotel!

Thin walls. Could hear others in room next to mine. Poor tv reception. Still using analog, not digital yet! Expect more from a Hilton property.

Ammenities at this Hotel were Good. There was a problem with extremely loud/disrespectufl guests on our floor. Contacted security twice. No Resolution. Guests continued to be loud until very late in the night. Voiced concerns with hotel staff at check-out, Received an apology for the inconvienence but no assurance of future corrective actions. Will never book this particular hotel chain again.

Apparently, this hotel is very big on weddings and other parties, as well as sports teams. There is insufficient parking and I had to search for a parking space every time I returned, sometimes having to park in "overflow" parking a 5 minute walk away. Breakfast always involved a 5-15 minute wait to get a tbale and more waiting to get served. Rooms wre noisy and overrun with teenagers and children. Not a good business destination. On the upside, the room was comfortable, and the staff were friendly, if slightly overwhelmed.

I really enjoyed my stay and my widow view was so relaxing and i would recommend that all my friends stay there when they come to charlotte n.c

Good hotel but it was really packed with wedding parties so a little busy. The only complaint was the hotel room was really warm and the AC didn't really cool the room down very well. I would go use the hotel again and the desk staff was very efficient and nice.

Wonderful stay. Very nice atmosphere and view of lake.

This hotel is in a great location with plenty of food options and shopping as well as convenient to interstate access. The staff was kind, courteous and accommodating and the hotel and rooms were very clean. BUT, one of the reasons I had chosen this Hilton was that it had an outdoor pool. When we got to the hotel the pool was empty! So I recommend calling ahead to make sure the pool is open if that is on your list of amenities. Other than that, our stay was great and I recommend this Hotel.

I'm not sure who the Hilton market is marketing to or why but there were so many "family reunions" there that brought collective ignorance we stayed away except to sleep.

Everything was excellent with the exception of the noisy air conditioner...every time it came on, it sounded as though a door was opening or closing. Otherwise, the breakfast buffet was very good, well stocked and freshly prepared omelets if you wanted them. The location was convenient to I-85 and had lots of restaurants nearby within easy walking distance. Even though it appeared to be fairly close to full for the weekend, it was not noisy in the halls or lobby areas.

Booked for a weekend visiting friends. Happened to coincide during the weekend a wedding was booked there and a lacrosse team(s) was staying there as well. The lobby was a mad house but I can understand that. The room was very neat and comfortable. However I could not find any ice. I went one floor up and there was no ice, one floor down no ice. I had to go a couple of floors before I finally got some. I know they were packed and I can see how that would happen, but still.... Also discovered as I was searching for ice there were various food items shoved in and around the ice machines. Kind of gross. Other than that issue everything was great and I would recommend staying on a not so busy weekend.

I enjoyed the service and room. I just wish that there was and refridgerator and microwave included. I'm always told first come first serve and they never have any. When I call in advance to request one the staff tells me I have to ask during check in. Thats my only problem

This hotel is in great area close proximity to major hwy's, many different restaurants, and much more. Hotel appears clean and well kept in both lobby and rooms. I thought the room rate was somewhat high. The walls are thin as I could hear guests from the next room as well as in hallways. There appeared to be no working ac in elevator or hallways. The outdoor pool area was dull looking and uninviting, it could use a makeover.

The hotel is in a convenient location near major interstate and highways. Hotel staff was very courteous and helpful when we had questions. The rooms are nicely appointed, clean and comfortable.

This hotel was in an amazing location,. I loved the scenery outside the window. There was a boardwalk and shopping so close by. It was a very beautiful place to stay and so many places to eat close by. The staff was very nice.

I stayed at the Hilton University Place on my daughter's graduation weekend. For the rate I paid, you can't ask for better. The hotel and grounds are lovely, bar and restaurant available. It's in the center of the University area, with UNCC and shops and restaurants all around you. My only complaints were the sink was cracked in the room and the tub had cracks.

We stayed for 6 nights and don’t have anything bad to say. The staff was very helpful. The front desk staff would look up anything we asked about from nail salons to places to visit. We were there for a conference and our free time was limited so it was a big help. I asked for the feather pillows to be swapped and they complied immediately. There is no shuttle from the airport you can set up a ride through the hotel for $40.00 total or take a cab for a little more. I was advised that there was a hotel shuttle and not given the full information on the cost. The hotel manger meet us at check in apologized, we were early he got us a room right away and gave us access to the executive floor for our whole stay. This included a manager reception, access to fruits, water, sodas and complimentary breakfast. We attended a banquet for over 300 and the staff was amazing one of the best I have ever seen.

Loved the hotel. You can go out the back door and walk to shops and restaurants. Close to Concord Mills Outlet.
