Hesperia Madrid - مدريد

One block from metro, two stops to Plaza Mayor- the city center --made this a convenient and quiet choice. The guest service desk was busy but they did their best to help when we needed it. We enjoyed the sky roof gym and drinks at local cafes. We will definitely return.

The hotel itsefl is a fairly nice facility. The front desk staff had poor communication skills and were generally less than helpful. The rooms were satisfactory but the room service was very limited. Not acceptable for a supposed five star facility.

We traveled to Madrid as tourists and found the hotel to be excellent , but maybe not a true 5 star as some of the hotel features are a bit old and worn. The hotel is a bit far from tourist areas, but close to the American Embassy and an easy bus or metro ride to the historic area. We found the guest service desk to very accommodating. They really went out of there way to help and find the answer to any question that we had.

The staff were all very helpful and the hotel facilities were very nice. It was a beautiful walk into the city, but we did get lost the first day. Taxis are a bit costly, but my husband did not want to take the metro. I would recommend this hotel. The trees, benches and parks added to the ambience of the city.

The service, the hotel conditions and the location were excellent. I've been to Madrid more than 5 times and if you are looking for good Hotel you cannot go wrong with this Hotel (best Hotel based on its price versus what your get). I recommend it and I will definitely stay here again when I come back to Madrid.

This is a proper 4/5 star hotel. We got a a great rate although it appeared to be quite quiet, Reception very efficient and friendly. Standard room is farly large and has a proper bath/shower. Bed very comfortable. Hotel concierge recommended and booked 2 very good restaurants - La Baraca (great paella) with reasonable prices (40 euro a head) and Iberio - expensive (60-70 Euro a head) but very good food. The rioja (red and white) everywhere was brilliant and generally quite cheap even in restaurants! Only minor issue with the hotel is it is 3-4 metro stops from the very centre of town (about 20-30 mins walk to Sol), but it is quiet late at night, so good nights sleep! That said the nearest metro station is 50m away - only 20-25 mins on the metro to the Airport (T1/2/3).

Good accomodations and excellent service.

Had to burn a Saturday in Madrid, chose this hotel becasue of 1.) 5-star rating, 2.) Low cost 3.) Location near to shopping, and was not dissapointed on any of these. My room was right over the front door (perhaps because it was booked at such a discount?), but the heavy curtains muted the sound and the room was rather quiet and private. My room service order was initially understood, but quickly rectified. Location was good - only 2 long blocks to the flagship El Corte Inglais, the department store that reminds us what Macy's used to be. Good for some early Christmas shopping. Will definitely return here again.

At this hotel the service was excellent. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. The bellmen gave the most helpful advice about must-see places. I can't say enough good things about the professionalism of everyone. I look forward to going back to Madrid and staying at this hotel!

Excellent service. Old hotel, elevator and room belong to a 3 star hotel.

Pluses: clearly 4 star - 5 star caliber hotel, helpful and polite staff, clean and spacious rooms, metro to line 10 within the same block Minuses: location does require metro ride (line 10 can easily connect with lines 1 and 2) to key areas in Madrid

We were extremely pleased with our two night stay at the Hesperia Madrid. It is just steps from the Gregorio Manon metro station and in a central, fashionable are of this beautiful city. At first we thought that the 5 star rating was a bit of a stretch, but then we stayed at several 4 star properties and realize that this is head and shoulders above them. The staff was great and the breakfast was sublime--definitely recommend booking breakfast as part of your rate.

attentive and polite staff by and large,but i asked for a lightbulb to be replaced in my room and it never happened. convenient location tubewise and nice area.

The hotel is great. The location is fantastic and the staff is very polite. Our only complaint was with the showers, they have a half shower door so the bathroom was continuously flooded after each shower. Other than that, free internet, reasonable room service prices and large size rooms for Europe.

This is a beautiful 5 star hotel even by American standards. The rooms are large and very comfortable. The staff is top notch and the restaurant is excellent. One huge drawback - their parking was "full" and we had to walk a couple of blocks to park in another garage. Parking was one of the main reasons we selected this hotel and so this was a big disappointment.

On the plus side, the staff were just fantastic: they actually made me feel welcome and truly especial. Moreover, we got a complimentary upgrade to an executive room. Breakfast was included until 11 a.m., as well as free high-speed wi-fi connection. On the minus side, parking fees (€26 per night) were a bit too high, even for a vallet service. One can easily park behind the hotel for free during the weekend. The check-out process was too slow and it took the bus boy ages to get my luggage from the room to the taxi, for which I was already paying for...

Me ha gustado mucho este hotel. El servicio fue excelente. El mejor que he encontrado. La habitación estaba bien. Desde mi punto de vista, 5 estrellas tal vez sea demasiado, considerando que no se encuentra totalmente centrico y que el agua caliente de la ducha tenia algunos problemas. A su vez las vistas de la habitación eran a una pared blanca interior.

Het hotel ligt op loopafstand van de Serrano area en mocht dit toch te ver zijn dan is de metro 200m. verderop. Ook de verbinding met de luchthaven is heel prettig. Verder heeft dit hotel alles wat van een 5sterren hotel verwacht mag worden. Het ontbijt is fantastisch. Geen minpunt. Annelien Oude Lutttikhuis. Bij een volgend bezoek aan Madrid zal dit het hotel zijn!

No se que le pasa a este magnifico hotel para tener los tíos mas antipáticos del mundo en recepción. Da igual a la hora que llegues, pero los de noche son para matarlos. Si no les gusta su trabajo , que se marchen. Pero que no nos atiendan a patas. El resto del personal excepcional, especialmente el restaurante. Magnifico hotel maltratado por estos pésimos recepcionista .

Hesperia Madrid er på mange måder et lækkert hotel. Alt fungerer, som man kan forvente sig på et 5-stjernet hotel, der er skinnende rent, personalet venligt og hjælpsomt (og med gode engelskkundskaber). Morgenmadsbuffeten er et kapitel for sig selv - den er ganske enkelt LÆKKER. Den eneste anke, man måske kan have mod hotellet, er afstanden til Centrum. Det tager en halv times tid at gå ind "downtown Madrid" og kvarteret lige rundt om hotellet er lidt kedeligt. Til gengæld ligger hotellet lige ved Metrostationen Gregorio Marañón med under 10 minutters transport til Centrum. Dette hotel vil helt sikkert være på listen, næste gang jeg er i Madrid.

Uitmuntende service en veel luxe. Prima ontbijtbuffet. Rustige omgeving, vlakbij Bernabeu voetbalstadion.

Mooie familly room, luxe toiletspullen, dichtbij stadion real madrid en een supergrote Corte Ingles. Wel wat geluid van de straat/verkeer. Heerlijk ontbijt.

地下鉄の最寄り駅からは近いです。繁華街からは離れていますが、プラド・ソフィア・ティッセン各美術館等まで歩けない距離ではありません。部屋は清潔ですが狭いので、大型トランクを２つ広げることは難しいかと思います。

Hotel localizado em regiao nobre de madrid. Instalaçoes confortáveis e muito bonitas. O apartamento que fiquei era um pouco pequeno, o que trazia um desconforto no uso do ar condicionado, mas é um reparo que nao diminui o prazer da estada. Recomendo.

Direi che è andata meglio anche del previsto. Sono stato a Madrid con la famiglia per una settimana nel mese di Agosto. Avevo prenotato una quadrupla (2 adulti 2 ragazzine) che sul sito di Hotels.com viene indicata come "family package". In realtà con F.P. Hesperia intende non una stanza ma due stanze con due bagni che, sostanzialmente, formano un appartamentino. Il tutto di gran classe: mobili in legno pregiato, chaisse longue, studiolo, saponetteria Bulgari, profumi Gucci, tv lcd con internet on tv, wi-fi gratis, letto super king size, servizi dotati financo di spazzola, set igiene dentale e body cream. Gran classe e molto bello. Un pò di incertezza l'ho notata nei servizi di reception ma nulla di importante. Breakfast sontuosa (sushi, salmone, prosecco e vino bianco nel cestello con ghiaccio per farvi capire...). Un pò cara ma ne vale la pena in vacanza. Eccellente. Uno dei migliori alberghi da me visitati.

Muy buen hotel y servicio, pero en mi caso solicité una habitación triple y me dieron una doble con una cama pequeña adicional empotrada contra la mesa de noche. Tuve que pagar por un upgrade a una suite con lo cual terminé pagando más caro que en un hotel de super lujo más reconocido.

Pela simpatia e atenção de todo pessoal, pelo quarto aconchegante, pela limpeza e serviços. Só temos uma queixa: o quarto não tinha nenhuma vista e dava para uma parede o que destoou tanto de todo acolhimento que chegou a chocar um pouco no verão. Por outro lado, era um quarto muito silencioso, não havendo qualquer barulho da rua.

Muy buen hotel, limpio, buen servicio, cuartos chicos. Esperaba un poco mas siendo el hotel del Leading hotels of the Worls, pero en general bien.

hotel agréable, lumineux avec un restaurant gastronomique de haute volée mais une chambre donnant sur une toute petite cour intérieure donc très mal éclairée et sombre, par contre très silencieuse, idéale pour bien dormir
