Magnuson Hotel Downtown North Nashville - ناشفيل

Room smelled musty and heavy with smoke (non-smoking room). Overall condition of room was questionably and not exactly clean. Right by busy road.

The room was dirty, clock didn't work, fridge didn't work and tub drained very slow.

Not too bad of a place, not too many places to eat close by, but oh well. the only problem we had, they closed the breakfast at 0830. It was a Saturday morning, my suggestion is stay open a little later on the weekends, there were more people wanting to eat. Room was relatively clean, the motel is in the process of renovations, but our room was ok. Bed was nice and firm. Employees nice and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay. Room was a good size. Everything was clean & neat. Help was friendly. The only complaint is the lack of a lighted sign. It was hard to find, but looked like they were working on a sign.

The Hotel was under construction so the exterior was in poor condition. But the room was very clean, the staff was very helpful and they went out of their way to help accommodate us for our long weekend. We will definitely be staying there again.

We asked for a cab and the front desk clerk called a town car concierge. He was very nice, recommended a great place to eat and told us places to see. Cost was affordable compared to a reg cab and we called him to pick us up to return to the hotel later that night. The morning breakfast person was very friendly and also told us how to get to places.

Hotel is in a "questionable area" and located right next to the interstate. My wife complained about hearing cars all night long. The price was right for a quick overnight, but not a great hotel,

room was in good condition but the lobby and breakfast area air conditioning was out and was quite uncomfortable in the 95+ degree weather.

This is the best hotel I've stayed at outside of downtown Nashville. The location was awesome, only five minutes from downtown. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Very clean. The complementary breakfast was a great bonus! Cant say enough good things about this hotel . It should be rated more like a four star!

Hotel website says they accept pets and charge by weight of dogs, however upon arrival they charged a flat rate of $20 instead of going by size of dog.

So we arrived around 3 pm.. after a 10 hour drive.. exhausted and only had a few minutes until we headed out to an event.. Upon arrival the area seemed a little shady I guess... but we thought we could deal with it.. The downstairs floor had new tile and it looked great.. then we went upstairs.. the hall was not so great and a few doors looked like they had been "kicked" with dents and scuff marks.. again.. thinking we would be ok we went to our room.. the first thing we noticed was the air conditioner was on full blast and it was cold in there.. Not the norm for hotels they normally have it off. especially on a cool day.. I noticed a slight odor in the air.. but didn't think much of it.. the room looked dingy and the carpet looked wet a little.. with no time to waste we headed out immediately to our event destination after turning off the air.. we arrived back at 2 am.. and the horrific odor of cat urine nearly knocked our heads off .. we then discovered the carpet was wet.. YUK.. i called the desk clerk and he said.. "there is nothing i can do and the manager is gone and there are no more rooms" we spent the next hour spraying febreeze and eventually fell asleep.. we checked out the next morning and relocated.. there is no way this room should have been rented to anyone in the condition it was in..

good location, good service...good value

Location is very easy to find, right off of the interstate. I am not a city person & this was a big plus for me. Hotel is a good place to stay, it is clean & the staff was friendly. Only 10 minutes from downtown, so it is fairly close to everything that a person might want to do. Would stay here again & would recommend to anyone.

I cannot express how pleased I was with my stay at Quality Inn. The room was very clean & organized & very comfortable. The bed was even very comfortable being I have trouble sleeping in different beds when traveling. The staff was exceptional, even the breakfast hostess. Everyone went out of their way to please us during our stay. I would give this hotel a 4 star rateing.

We went to Nashville for my daughters 21st B day!! The kids went down the night before us and had their own room. The front desk staff are very friendly during the day. Our room well lets just say it was old. The toilet backed up on the 1st flush. And getting someone to bring you a plunger well...........took two phone calls to get and very slow response. the smoke alarm looked as if it had already endured a fire. Don't ask for extra towels from the evening desk clerk cause you aren't gonna get any. And dont go outside at night without a large group of people with you......Not a very nice neighborhood (and I'm from Detroit) .

This was worst Quality Inn that I have ever stayed in. The exercise equipment was taped at the handles and one foam handle had feel off leaving my hands sticky and the exercise room was creepy and dirty. In my room there chipped paint in tub and on several surfaces. Hair on the wall. I could not believe that i had spent all that money on this. I would had been better off staying at an Econo Lodge for cheaper.

Overall, I had a great stay. I was in town for a race and the hotel opened breakfast earlier (4am!) to accommodate all the runners who were trying to eat before the race. The staff was friendly and the room was spacious and clean. Was a great deal for its location (just a few miles from downtown).

Quality Inn was nasty... wall paper peeling off the walls.... shady enterance w little to no security... bathrooms were ok at best. would not recommend especially for the price... $87?!! terrible value

I was quite disappointed in the fact that at the price we paid we expected something considerably better. The hotel looked old, there was only one person at the front desk, who also happened to be the maintenance person as well. The person was complaining how much they didn't like working at that hotel and how little they're getting paid. The overall inside of the hotel could use some serious cleaning, or even better a renovation. The room was clean though.

I like the fact that the hotel was right on the interstate. Made it very easy access. The noise never bothered me a bit. It was quiet in the room. The hotel was clean & neat and the staff was very friendly and accomidating. Access to downtown was only about a 10 minute cab ride. I will stay here again in the future.

First of all, when we arrived in the front lobby, the first thing we saw was an enormous leak in the middle of the ceiling and all over the floor! The hotel maintenance staff and house keeping were extremely rude and would not acknowledge you in any way. The entire place smelled like B.O.!!!! The carpet through out the building was disgusting and had stains all over it! The hotels never worked and also smelt. We had booked our room for 4 nights and after the 3rd night we decided to "bite the bullet" and get another room at a very nice and expensive hotel for the last night; even though we still had to pay for the last night... I was happy at a nicer hotel!!
