Best Western Plus Carriage Inn - شيرمان أوكس

Stay was OK. Tried to stay somewhere with breakfast included and conveniently located. Booked this hotel because it was rated 3 Stars at Hotels.com and was near where we needed to be. HOWEVER, after we checked in, we noticed a Hampton Inn across the street. It did not appear in my search because Hotels.com rated Hampton Inn at 2.5 stars! ( my minimum request was 3 stars). I have never stayed at a Hampton I would rate less than 3 stars! Carriage Inn was a nice place, but very outdated. Room was clean and quiet and conveniently located.

Mediocre at best. Construction going on, best restaurant is Denny's on the property; street noise, inconsiderate noise making guests.; small TVs, no flat ones. Does have free wifi however.

The room had a damp feel., and even though we asked for a non smoking room, it had a smell to it. The hotel was on a busy street so we heard the traffic for a good part of the night. Also, when we used the shower, there was no hot water, only luke warm.

The hotel was above and beyond my expectations. I had assumed we were sacrifcing cleanliness or quality for such a good price but it was perfect accomodations.

Convenient location. However, beds are not comfortable---quite hard. Pillows are big, bouncy and on the stiff side.

Good for the price, would reccommend to others and beds were comfortable. The pool was also a good temperature.

Excellent hotel - the best hotel I had in CA in my two weeks trip - the hotel looks great. Very nice at night and we also enjoyed the pool.

The bathroom was unclean. The overall look of the hotel is poor. The maid did not clean the bathroom nor folded the used towels.

Not bad value for money. Disney visit is a long day from this Hotel.

Another excellent hotel by Best Western. The room was clean and comfortable. All staff are very friendly and helpful. This hotel is 1 block from the I-405, and a couple miles North from Ventura Blvd, where you may find shopping galore and just about any type of restaurant in close vicinity.

Nice clean place, perfect location, good neighborhood. Full recommendation!

As the title says, this place was clean and efficient. It's an excellent value and has the added benefit of an attached 24 hour Denny's. (Which was perfect when our incoming flight was delayed for two hours and we couldn't check in until 10 pm.)

Let me start by saying that the overall stay was very pleasent. The checkin/checkout was very quick. As my trip to LA was business i did not have the time to take advantage of all of your admenities. My only complaint would be that i like to reuse and recycle when I can and when I attempted to do that with towles I was unable even after two requests.

Very convenient location. Denny's is connected to the hotel for very late night snacking. Easy access to the freeways. I definitely would stay there again for my next stay! The location's surrounding area feels safe. The only complaint is that the shower head wasn't so efficient, it wasn't a deal breaker.

We stayed here for 6 nights and were very pleased with our stay. The room was nice and clean, appeared to have been all recently remodeled. We had a second floor room, you could hear some noise on Sepulveda Blvd. at times, but that was usually only when it was a siren or loud motorcycle or car. If you were to stay in the tower part of the hotel, you most likely wouldn't hear too much at is is more enclosed. They did not have any king rooms in that area.the Denny's next door is convenient, but very slow on service. We liked the location, it was not too congested in the evening, then for our flight home we were able to get right on the 405 and head to LAX. On a normal day it took maybe 20-30 minutes to get to the Hollywood area using surface streets instead of highways.

This hotel is located not far from the Burbank Airport. I appreciated the fact that it had a Denny's beside it which offered a 10 percent discount to those staying at the Inn. It was close to Hwy. 101 which seems to be one of the main thoroughfares. We felt safe, rooms were clean and reasonably priced. I would go there again the next time I visit Burbank/LA area.

This hotel was a wonderful choice for us. Denny's Restaurant on site was a bonus with great staff, good menu and good prices. Our hotel room was clean and fresh every day. The pool area is tropical and well kept. The staff in the lobby were more than accommodating and very polite. We will stay at the Best Western Carriage Inn on our next trip to Sherman Oaks. Thanks to Hotels.com for a great room rate, especially for the week.

the hotel looked nice from the outside it was clean and the staff was friendly, the room was a different way the walls were paper thin, we heard the people next to us all night, we waited 25 minutes for hot water, finally called maitnance, in the morning. we had paid for breakfast and were not given any coupons until asked. we had a second couple with us and they were on the other side of the hotel in a seperat room and the had simmilar experience with the water and at check in. The front door of our room did not seal properly, so the room 437 was cold and with it raining we heard every rain drop outside the door and everytime a car or truck would drive by it feel like they are right in the room with us will i stay there again NO or better Hell NO we stayed a week before at the embasy suites and what a difference

Although the property is next to the 405 freeway, my room was very quiet and I was not disturbed by traffic noise. Parking is free and adequate and the coffee in the lobby is great. There is no breakfast, but you get a discount on the food at Denny's next door by showing you room key. I will stay there again when i need tobe in that area for business.

Clean, updated rooms at a great location. I would definitely stay here again.

Our complaints are: we were literally offset the freeway; the very last room 327. We FELT the trucks passing by all night. My parents booked this hotel for their trip next week and cancelled after our experience.

We just stayed here for one night on the way to LA. Really big, nice and clean room. Loved it! Had a really big and comfortable bed with lots of pillows, slept like a child after a long day. Good security, free parking, safety box on the room, really clean, free wifi and big tv. All you need. The room was really nice and good furnished with lots of cosy lights. Could have stayed longer without a problem.

Good stay in good neighborhood; only detraction was hair all over tub when we checked in (a little gross)

Very convenient to our seminar and Galleria. Great to have Denny's restaurant next door.

There was constant raffic and other noises through out the night. I was awake nearly three hours because of it. NG

I have stayed here many times before, and enjoyed my stay. This time, however, there were a few negatives I'd not experienced before. In room 146, there was a distinct smoke odor, and this was supposed to be a non-smoking room. When I arrived I waited for 10 min. to be helped, while Monica flirted with her "friend" on the phone. Otherwise the room was okay for the price.

The establishment was a nice cookie cutter facility. The standard layout with two queen beds, window unit AC/Heat, and television. The best part was the adjoining Dennys. It was conveniently located off the main highway and the surrounding campus was really cool. It is a particularly large in layout and affordable.

The property is adjacent to a Los Angeles interstate. We expected traffic noise but were pleased to find out there was none. Nice, comfortable and clean property.
