Great location for being close to the metro, other than that it is not on Wenceslas Square, its two metro stops away. However, everything else about this hotel was great. Breakfast was wonderful, nice selection and freshness. The pool was great for our children and the room was a nice size with comfortable beds. The only downside was the pillows, which were lumpy and uncomfortable, but we knew this going in as the last Novotel was the same. Woul likely stay here again.

Hotel had excellent facilities with the swimming pool, jacuzzi and suna. Hotel bar was very expensive but with so much choice around Prague there should be no need to drink there.

We have now stayed at four Novotels in Europe, because our first experience in Prague was stellar. We are a family of 5. Children ages: 12, 9 and 6. Our three children slept on the comfortable sofa bed. The room was very large, the breakfast was spectacular, and the staff were so very helpful. The pool/jacuzzi/sauna - fabulous. The tram is one block away which takes you to the Castle Hill. We look forward to returning. We LOVED staying in the Prague Novotel, it may just be the best family hotel in all of Europe!

Great hotel, excellent location, close to subway, tram, very clean, really nice indoor heated pool, good breakfast and dinner buffet. Kids received a plush animal at check-in. Safe location. Rooms well equipped with AC, tea/coffee maker, hair dryer. Modern. Friendly and helpful staff. Would stay again here next time.

At arrival, receptionnist IGNORED us for quite a while. Every time we went to the reception, the receptionnist were busy doing something and wouldn't acknowledge us. Elevators are a mess... you need you room card to activate it, very often, the card reader won't work! Not all elevators go to the parking area, so you have to change elevators if you want to go to your car. There was a construction site right at the entrance and workers would block the passage way or elevator exit with their ladders. The pool and jacuzzi water were FREEZING COLD at all times. We went to the restaurant and asked for a draught beer, they just served the beer in a bottle without asking us first if it was okay, because they had already cleaned the keg tubes (that at 21:00). All employees of this hotel except for the receptionnists in the pool area never smiled - in a customer service environnment this striked us as very inappropriate. The climatisation in the room was very poor. It always felt very warm in the room even after turning off the heater. Our sink wouldn't drain. The location of the hotel was not that convenient for people who like to walk everywhere (like we do). The receptionnist told us our breakfast was included. When we tried to go eat breakast in the morning, they stopped us from doing so and wanted to charge us 18 Euros per person - SUPER expensive. All in all, a horrible stay. We have lots of hotels to chose from in Prague. We will go back to Prague, but we will most definitely NOT stay in this hotel again.

We had a great experience at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was free for children and only 16 euros for adults. Everything was in good walking distance for children or a cheap taxi ride away. At the end of an evening it was easy to have a drink at the hotel bar as there is a childrens play area right by the bar. The swimming pool/hot tub was great after touring around with the children. If you are travelling with children...its a must to go to the restaurant on Wensceles Square that has train models delivering drinks to the table...cant remember the name but the staff at the hotel will know it. Would really recommend this hotel especially with children.

I would not recommend this hotel to a traveling family. for a couple it seemed ok....I have never stayed at a hotel where they reduce the amount of towels/cups etc when when they notice that there is more than 2 guests in the room. at check in we had 4 big towels and 4 hand towels. the next day they took 2 towels away and never replaced them. the bed sofa seemed uncomfortable...the water from the faucet stunk like sewage....they didn't refill the coffee packages/spoons we used... the floor has never seen a steam cleaner and my kids started out with light colored pants and at the end of the day they were black! the meat for room service was always over cooked..,. there was no sink in the toilet room(not nice for a woman!) and no trash can or toilet brush..

I stay at this hotel regularly on business. I like the quiet location, and the rooms are quiet too. It is fine for two or three nights stay. Clean room, comfortable bed. It has a small indoor pool which is good for a dip. Breakfasts are ok. Air conditioning is variable - some rooms it works well, others not so well.

I was quite surprised when I discovered the the Novotel Praha Wenceslas Square is actually about a 10 minute walk away from Wenceslas Square...but, truly, my favorite thing to do in Prague is to simply walk and see the city, so I didn't mind this. It's a pleasant walk from the hotel to New Town (the hotel is in New Town), Old Town and Wenceslas Square. These are my favorite sites to see, so I didn't mind this either, but if you plan to go further than Charles Bridge, this will be a hike.

Hotel location was good. 1 minutes away from the subway I.P. Pavlova station, and there was a tram line also. A little far to Old Town area, but we enjoyed walking. Hotel people are friendly and knowledgeable. Room was very good size. Hotel has a swimming pool and fitness center, so we also enjoyed that too. Hotel offers fixed rate taxi to the airport (and others), so we were very happy about that. Taxi price is very shady in Prague, so you should be very careful about that. Overall, we had a great stay at this hotel.

I had a pleasant experience at the Novotel Praha Wenceslas Square. The staff was very helpful and spoke English well. The rooms were very clean and the hotel has a gym, pool and jacuzzi. The lights on the bathroom mirror have a cool feature that doesn't allow the mirror to fog up. They have free internet on a computer in the lobby, but you have to pay for internet in your room. The rooms have AC, but it doesn't get very cool in the room. The location of the hotel was quite a walk from the Square, but once you figure out public transportation it's not so bad.

Hotel was nice and in a great location. Only a 15-20 minute walk to Charles Bridge and other sites. One block from the hotel is a subway station that will take you to the main train station or connect to the airport. The main train station is only two stops away.

This is the best Novotel facility that I have been to. My impression used to be that Novotel hotels were small, have cramped rooms and usually not very well located, until I used Novotal Praha Wenceslas in Prague last week. The wheelchair accessible room that was given to me was big and enabled me to have ample space to maneuver my power chair. The bathroom was fully accessible, too. Location is nice and having the tram station a short walking distance to the hotel is a bonus. The pool is clean and well maintained. The staff are nice and helpful. The food choices in the buffet breakfast is limited but this is compensated by the other amenities offered by the hotel. I will surely stay in this same hotel when my family and I visit Prague for holiday next summer.

This hotel ticks the boxes but nothing more. The lobby is drab. The rooms are well furnished and v. clean. The pool is cold and the gym is small (one running machine). I would recommend this hotel if you want to be sure what you get but dont want charm and atmosphere. Apart from that everything else was exactly as it should be.

Stayed for 3 nights on a holiday with my family. The hotel is located in a quiet off street and very close to the station IP Pavlova. Wenceslas Square is just about 8 minutes walk away and I would not like to stay on the square as it is a beehive of activities and cars. The hotel staffs were very friendly, helpful and efficient and happy to help even giving directions and recommending places of interest and arranging taxi. The lobby and public areas are spacious and welcoming. Free internet for 30 minutes, a gym that can have 8 -10 people at a period and sizeable pool that is well kept. The breakfast was of good standard but did not ask for any special. The room was regularly cleaned and comfortable but we found the cleaning detergent used in the bathroom very strong in the air. Overall I will return and recommend this hotel.

Nice, comfortable hotel. Reasonable breakfast. Comfortable bed, sofa bed mattress was quite soft and not entirely comfortable Please note that even though the hotel has Wenceslas square in it's name, Wenceslas Square is actually ~3-4 blocks away (5-8 min walk).

Very comfortable and nice. Front desk was ver helpfull. Iwould recommand it.

The hotel provided excellent service, help and had an outstanding breakfast.

very poor sevice, staff very unpleasant. When you check in, you have to PAY DEPOSIT FOR THE MINIBAR IN YOUR ROOM !!! Never take the breakfast in the hotel. I would expect, for the price of the breakfast, they would at least make a decent coffee, but they give you the fake instant coffee instead. I would have gotten a better coffe at McDonalds for 0.5£. And by the way. This hotel is NOT AT THE WENCESLAS SQUARE !!! This is just a name, intended to fool tourists.

Le personnel de l'hôtel est formidable, nous avons été choyés. Le petit déjeuner digne d'un hôtel 4 étoiles. Nous sommes partis en famille avec notre fille de 6 ans, et elle a adoré l'espace pour les enfants au restaurant. Le personnel est parfaitement bilingue et nous a beaucoup aidé pour nos visites; bref un hôtel formidable

Es war ein sehr schönes Mittelklasse - Hotel, gut gelegen da man zu Fuß in ca. 15 Min. ins Zentrum gelangen konnte. Allerdings ist es etwa 30 Min. zu Fuß von der alten Stadt entfertnt. Die öffentlichen Verbindungen waren sehr gut und in der nähe des Hotels. Das Frühstücks - Buffet war reichlich und gut. Das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Hotel correct et accueillant, proche de la vieille ville. Le service est sympathique.

Vi havde 4 dejlige overnatninger i oktober 2011 - rigtig fint hotel til børnefamilien. Ok værelse - rigtig dejlig pool, som gav gode pauser fra seværdighederne.

Hotellet bærer præg er at være et turist hotel, pool morgen mad samt værelset generelt er ok, rent og pænt men ikke noget særlig. Har svært ved at forstå den fjerde stjerne !!!

Pent moderne hotell med gå avstand til sentrum og gamlebyen. Fint med svømmebasseng og boblebad. Bra frokost.

Col segno meno: l'accoglienza di una addetta alla ricezione non proprio garbata e veramente poco incline a cercare soluzioni per i propri clienti, una camera abbastanza comoda ma con un WC chiuso in uno sgabuzzino di 1 mq senza finestra ne aspirazione, il costo fisso e rigido della "navetta" (un normalissimo taxi) per l'aeroporto (solo andata, domenica mattina, tempo di percorrenza 12 minuti, sempre e comunque prezzo pieno) Col segno più: la posizione dell'hotel è abbastanza comoda per i turisti, centrale ma silenziosa.

Buena ubicacion, atencion, limpieza y desayuno. A una cuadra del metro. Buena coneccion con tranvia.

Hôtel agréable un peu éloigné de la vielle ville

Ankom til hotellet i bil og det var forholdsvis nemt at finde. Parkerede i hotellets kælder og dette er mod betaling (EUR 20 pr. nat!!). Hotellet er af ganske fin kvalitet og vi havde intet specielt at klage over. Eneste minus var af rengøringen ikke havde skiftet noget beskidt sengetøj, hvilket vi klagede over. Sengetøjet blev derefter skiftet hurtigt derefter. Hotellet er beliggende ca. 10-15 min gang fra centrum så det var ganske fint. Mange gode restauranter i nærheden bl.a. den mexikanske lige overfor hotellet (kan klart anbefales). Børnene kunne godt lide poolen på hotellet og mens børnene badede kunne man slappe af i den dejlige gårdhave. Morgenmaden var inkluderet i vor pris og var af super kvalitet. Vi vil absolut anbefale dette hotel til andre.

Dette hotellet ligger like ved en stor metrostasjon, har store og pene rom, gode faciliteter, svært hyggelig og serviceinstilt betjening, god frokost og det hele til en rimelig pris. Anbefales på det varmeste.

Hotellet ligger mindre end 1½ km fra centrum. Generelt i god kvalitet, og i forhold til prisen, kan jeg ikke klage over noget. Gratis internet er godt. Dyr parkering er dårligt

Alt vel, men betaling tar for lang tid og virker uorganisert.

Vi (2 voksne og 2 børn på samme værelse) brugte hotellet som udgangspunkt for et kort ophold i Prag (3 overnatninger). Fin modtagelse ved ankomst og gode informationer. Egen overvåget parkeringskælder, med direkte adgang fra hotellet er et stort plus. Nem adgang til kollektive transportmidler. Rart med pool efter en lang varm dag i byen. En rigtig fin morgen buffet. Eneste minus var et uoplagt personale i forbindelse med at vi ville spise aftensmad på hotellet. Alt i alt et hotel vi fint kan anbefale.

Solicitamos con tiempo suficiente, el servicio desde el aeropuerto al hotel y viseversa. La recogida fue tarde y en el regreso, el hotel no nos tenia previstos el traslado al aeropuerto. Creo quie en ese tema tan importante, por lo pagamos dentro de lo contratado, fallo.Espero que no ocurra con otros visistantes

El hotel esta muy bien situado, cerca del centro.el personal es muy amable, profesional. El unico problema fue la calefaccion en las habitaciones, que sin estar conectada, hacia un calor enorme, no se podia respirar. Las noches muy agobiantes, por el calor. Y eso que hacia mucho frio fuera. BAr y restaurante en obras. Lo demas todo muy bien.

Hotellet ligg like ved Wenceslas Square og ikkje på Wenceslas Square (ca 5 min spaseravstand). Likevel så ligg hotellet godt til i avstand frå dei fleste severdigheiter. Området er roleg, så det er lett å få sova godt om natta her. Basseng er supert for famileopphold, og innandørs parkering er flott for bilen. Bruk dagspass på Metro og trikk for å koma deg rundt viss du har små barn med deg. Metrostoppen I.P. Pavlova ligg like i nærleiken av hotellet. Frukosten på hotellet var også heilt ok.

Meget gode værelser. Airconditioning virkede kun ved indgangen så der var meget varmt i værelset. Ellers var det et super ophold vi havde med Novotel. Vi har tidligere benyttet andre Novotel og vil gøre det fremover. :-)

Hotellet ligger ganske centralt, i gå afstand til seværdigheder, og støjen er minimal i forhold til beliggenheden.
