The double beds were too small which made it uncomfortable for two people to sleep on them.

You can tell this is an older hotel. Our sink didn't drain in the bathroom, the halls had a musky odor and one lamp wouldn't turn on.

I paid quite a bit for the room due to being spring break and South By Southwest. It was a getaway for myself and my 4 year old grandkids. My confirmation said I had a King size bed and 2 double beds. When I checked in, the front desk said it was just a King, which wouldn't work for 3 people. I showed her my confirmation email and she said I didn't know how to read it. They did give me a sofa bed (which was not good). The indoor pool was freezing, toilet ran all night, and I was very disappointed. Hot water was very low pressure in bath/shower. I have paid a third the price and had better accommodations. Very disappointed.

This hotel went above and beyond helping us out with my sons birthday party! Everyone was very helpful and so nice! We will definitely be coming back!

Was going to UT/WVA game and made hotel reservations too late to stay in Austin, but hotel was not that far away and convenient to I-35

The hotel was very nice, but it was football game day in Austin and our neighbors continued the party into the wee hours of the morning. At 1am I called the front desk to complain but the party continued until almost 3am. The neighbors were up and very loud again by 7:30am.

I guess I always have low expectations of hotel stays so I am not disappointed. It was a fast one night stay - I saw the lobby, hallway and my room - but I enjoyed the stay. The room/wing was very quite, the room was clean, everything worked as it should, the staff was helpful and pleasant. I had a great night sleep.

I was under the impression that the purpose of making a reservation was so that I would have a bed to sleep in. Apparently I was mistaken. After a long day traveling, which included delays prompting me to phone the hotel to confirm my room with a late arrival, I arrived at the Austin Marriott North at 0300 hrs, only to find that they do not honor the reservation you make. Having a reservation for 4 people with 2 beds, I was offered a room with one king bed and told that was standard practice. I was offered extra blankets so that 2 people could sleep on the floor. Marriott will never again see any of my money. By the way, the room was also prepaid.

Very in joy able Everyone was so pleasant and nice.Made you very right at home and welcome from the time we arrived till the time we left.

Before we arrived at our room the hotel was very nice and clean. At our room we discovered there was only a king and a pull out sofa. We made the reservation for 2 queen beds. When we spoke with the staff about it they told us that this particular hotel does not have rooms that have 2 queen beds. So we settled and decided to go down to the pool, but upon arrival we realized that the pool was tiny. The picture makes it look very large, but it is amazing how some trick photography can make it look so awesome. My boys still had fun in the pool. On our way back to the room we noticed the halls were crowded with college students wearing university jerseys, and found out there was a huge track meet at the university. The next morning we went down to the lobby not for the breakfast because we didn’t want to pay the extra when we could go to Denny’s and get all you can eat pancakes for $4, but to check out. The gentleman asked how our stay was and we said it was fine accept that you all really should have queen bed rooms, and he told us that they did but they were all booked up due to the track meet. Just prefer the honesty, and wasn’t sure why it cost so much to stay at this hotel it must cost a lot to light up that big red Marriot sign. Maybe it would have been better if we had not been there the same time as the university track teams.

Every aspect of my two-day stay was absolutely, positively perfect! The front desk associates were extremely efficient and happily assisted me with a reservation problem through hotels.com. And the bed was to die for -- very comfortable.

Stayed at the Marriott for a baseball tournament my son was playing it was great, close to the shopping centers and the baseball fields, the beds were awesome and the service was fantastic. Even the breakfast was delicious, it was so worth the extra money for the hot buffet. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

walls were a little thin....but overall it was nice...

We stayed 3 nights and it was wonderful. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. Had to pay for breakfast and the restaurant was a little pricey but the food was good. Would stay there again and would recommend it to friends and family.

Our hotel stay was wonderful. The staff was friendly the rooms were very neat and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The highlight was the wonderful breakfast buffet. The food was fresh and delicious. We will be staying there again when we return to Austin, Texas.

This hotel is very nice, the staff was great, and room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant located in the hotel, while convenient was overpriced and food quality was not very good. The restaurant staff was friendly though, and our overall stay was good.

The gentleman who welcomed us was very courteous and helpful. He was genuinely concerned for the welfare of the guests.
