3 of us stayed in this hotel. There were partitions between the double/queen bed and the lounge area where the couch turned into two single beds. Tv was big. The room was comfortable,clean and quiet and there was adequate room both in the lounge area and bathroom. An added bonus was a kitchenette in the room. Its situated in a quiet residential street which is about 10 mins walk from the main street and old town. I would stay here again. Parking was €10 a day which was quite draining but almost to be expected in Europe if you want to stay relatively close to the main town.

We were disappointed with the cleaniness of room, decor and size. The room was dark and dingy and the hotel is not located in a great area. Reception area is acceptable. Avoid an outside room as ours was facing a driveway and had storage shutters outside the glass patio door.

A good and functional hotel about 10 min walk from the charming old city centre. Don´t expect more than you pay for. Excellent if you want a moderately priced hotel in a quiet area. Excellent also if you want to self cater. Well equipped service station 3 minute walk away and safe underground parking under hotel for a resonable charge. We will come again.

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights. The rooms were small, and the `kitchen` was not a kitchen. Do not expect to do any cooking there. It was convenient for the mini fridge, use of the utensils and plates, but I would not call that a kitchen. The sofa was horrible and not comfortable at all. Apart from that, the room was very clean and inviting. No screens on the windows, so the mosquitos had a field day with me as I slept. The service was excellent and staff were very nice. Breakfast was way too expensive for what it was. All in all, it was an ok hotel, but with a 10 min walk to city center, I would spend the extra $15-30 a night to be closer to the action.

Overall experience at the hotel was great. A big thankyou particularly to Christine at the front desk who made my stay comfortable and always had the patience to answer any questions I had considering my knowledge of French was very limited. A good place to stay when visiting Aix en Provence!

This hotel needs a complete refurbishment and a good clean! On our arrival, the first room we were given was disgusting. There were stains on the carpet, a number of unidentifiable stains on the walls and a cigarette burn hole in the bedcover. To their credit, the hotel staff did move us to another room when we asked, which was marginally cleaner. There is a choice of 2 breakfasts, the Express is the cheaper, and a buffet. We had the Express but after 3 mornings of chaos (no table set, running out of basics like strawberry jam) and not great quality (ie coffee and fruit juices from a machine) we bought stuff in the supermarket and made our own breakfast in our room. Much cheaper and better quality! The positive aspects of this hotel are 1. Proximity to the town centre. 2. Good sized pool (though water very cold). 3. Staff were pleasant. We did not think this hotel deserved a 4-star rating from the local tourist board, it's more a 2-star. However, having seen the prices in Aix, it's probably quite good value compared to other hotels in the town. We would not return.

After reading the reviews we were pleasantly surprised to find a clean comfortable room. The location is conenient in a quiet spot. The pool is great and not too overcrowded. We would stay here again.

Fairly close to the center of town. The first room that we were in did not have hot water, but we were immediately moved to another room. They even offered to let us have both rooms. Good service. If they offered breakfast that was included in the price, I would have liked it more. Breakfast was offered at a price.

Value for money

I would rate this a *** not a ****. We were able to use the Washer & Dryer, this was a plus. Staff were all very helpful. Kitchenette is a nice feature. Food could be warmed in Mircrowave. Small refrigerator kept our water & beverages chilled. Parking garage was good and convenient, just difficult to drive in & out due to pass code to open door. The plus for this hotel is it's proximity to the town areas.

Stayed here for a couple nights during our trip around the south of france. We had a car and there is street parking (free) around the hotel, which we managed to get both nights, if not the hotel has parking at a fee. Hotel is not 4 star as we had read, but were satisfied with the hotel for the price we paid. We got given a slightly larger room (double + sofa), and the rooms have kitchen facilities. Bed is quite soft, and decor a little dated. There is a bowling alley on the other side of the road, and not much going on on the hotels road so isn't very glamorous surroundings, and could be daughting at night by yourself. A 500m walk gets you to the rotunda/fountain and the main strip and the entrance to the old town, so we found it convinient espicially being able to get street parking.

In a quiet neighborhood just a few minutes walk from the buses and from the center of town this hotel is clean, comfortable and convenient. The bathroom and kitchenette were modern and everything worked well. Plenty of pillows and a comfortable bed made for a good nights sleep. All-in-all this is a very nice hotel!

This is the bad hotel that i have stay in my life..say is 4 star but i thing 1 star is to much..all the room smell a cigarrette including the bed and pillow...thanks god I stay only one night.......

My partner and I stayed for 6 days. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. The room was bright, roomy and comfortable with a small kitchenette and a sizable patio. Service was excellent - more like a serviced apartment than a hotel room. Five minutes walk to Mirabeaux (did I spell that right?). We walked everywhere during our time in Aix. Same distance to the tourist information centre where staff were very helpful and friendly. Shorter distance to the bus terminal where we could get a bus directly to the TGV station or Marseille for a very reasonable price and at half hour intervals. All in all a terrific place to stay and at a reasonable price. One and only criticism.....the shower cubicle was small and ifficult to access. A "larger" person or someone with limited mobility would have difficulty.

Hotel , very tired looking inside , room cleanliness poor.Carpet dirty , dividing screen ripped. Air Con not switched on by hotel , despite temps of 25 degrees , very uncomfortable. Reception staff were friendly and apologetic , but unable to action despite advising us other guests were also complaining. Location is good in sense that it is a short walk to centre but it is not in the best part of town , a little bit dark to walk back for females on their own. Would not use this hotel again or recommend.

Wonderful, roomy hotel with kitchenette and great location, a few minutes from Cours Mirabeau. The staff was very helpful and we were able to find street parking all 3 nights, therefore, avoiding parking fees.

This good thing about this hotel, is the location (10 min’ walk from city center) and the private garage parking (in case you travel with a car). Also the room have a kitchenette which is always nice to have. The hotel staff where nice and helpful and the room itself was clean. Now for the not so good things… the hotel rooms a dated whit an uncomfortable bad. On the floor that we stayed on there was an strong odour of cigarettes (it was not a fresh smell) and also in the room (although not as strong as in the corridor).

Residence Led Floridianes was located in a quiet residential street yet only a short walk from the centre of town with its facilities; it was extremely close to the bus station which made travel to and from the airport very easy. The room was good and overall confortable; we had a balcony which was overlooked by the residents of the building next door but this was not a huge issue. We found it the perect location to get away from it all and relax while not being too far fron the main street of Cours mirabeau; woould recommend to anyone looking for a quiet hotel.

Wonderful service and nice room. Exceptional staff - made our stay that much more pleasant and enjoyable. Only issue was - shower caused water leak onto the bathroom floor. We willl definitely stay here again.

We just returned after 2 nights with two other friends. They all enjoyed their rooms The staff is very helpful and you can usually find free parking on the street. This was the second time we stayed there this year. It' a deal. Jan

We stayed there Jan 20-24th with our daughter. The front desk was very helpful, the room (suite) was spotless and it was a 7 minute walk to the central part of town. Use mapquest to find it- it is on a residential street with lots of construction and sort of hidden away. We always found free parking on the street. We are returning there with friends in May.

In our month long honeymoon this little boutique hotel turned out to be our favorite for the money. It's a 5 minute walk to the main roundabout where all the shops and restaurants are and had all the amenities we could possibly want, including laundry (which is important when you're gone so long). The property owner was lovely and constantly available. The room was a little small but this is Europe folks, we had a private balcony and a kitchenette. The room we stayed had also recently been remodeled. Definitely our first choice for our return to Aix-en-Provence next year.

Rien a redire sauf qu'ayant un rendez-vous à 16 heures à notre arrivée (15 heures) je n'ai pu obtenir une chambre (trop tôt) sauf un conseil... -"Aller me changer dans les toilettes du rez-de-chaussée. Nous avons donc été nous réfugier jusqu'à l'heure requise au bowling en face et donc en retard à mon rendez-vous. A vous de juger!

Résidence familiale très bien située à Aix en Provence, centre ville accessible à pied.

Bien située, environnement très calme, chambre de bonne taille, un rapport qualité prix très correct. L'accueil est agréable. La résidence dispose d'un parking.

Tres decus par la chambre ... et les environs. En effet meme si le hall est tres correct la moquette et l aspect general cote chambres laisse a desirer. Le studio est petit et une simple cloison de papier type japonais separe la chambre du "salon" Le quartier enfin meme s il est proche du centre est quand meme super moche. Si nous retournons a Aix nous chercherons autre chose.

Super Hotel propre, calme,personnel sympa et présent. Piscine correcte . A 5 minutes à pied du centre ville et 2 minutes des grands axes pour s'echapper en voiture.

This hotel was placed central enough within walking distance from everything. it was like a studio with big balcony and a small kitchen w/ dishwasher so you could have breakfast or dinner outside. This was probably my favorite hotel on the trip.

Das Hotel ist gut. der stuff sehr unterschiedlich, von sehr kompetent und hilfsbereit bis eben nicht so. Zimmerservice und Reinigung war sehr gut. Der kleine Pool war immer sauber und sehr erfrischend. Wir würden wieder hinfahren.

Særdeles velbeliggende i forhold til Aix centrum. Et særligt plus at hotellet har pool og p-kælder.

Dette hotellet var en positiv overraskelse. Billig, mne med god standard på bassengområdet så vel som frokosten (anbefales!). Gaten hotellet ligger i var litt stusselig, men det var kort vei til sentrum av Aix. Rommet var bra, men vi var 4 stykker og det ble litt trangt. Skulle vi bodd flere netter ville jeg nok hatt to rom. Veldig positivt at rom har kjøleskap så man kan oppbevare drikke

Olor totalmente desagradable a ajo y comida en el cuarto.

Vi bodde åtta nätter på les Floridianes i maj-juni 2011 och trivdes mycket bra. Rummet hade ett kitchenette med vattenkokare och kyl. Köksutrustningen var knapp, saknade såväl korkskruv som vinglas, men i gengäld hade vi en rejäl terrass på tredje våningen med lite utemöbler. Rummet var litet men funktionellt. Handdukar byttes nästan varje dag och städningen var bra. Poolen var toppen och hotellpersonalen hjälpsam. Garage för hyrbilen fanns för 10 euro per natt. Läget var toppenbra, med närhet till både järnväg och bussstation. Däremot en bit att gå till livsmedelsbutik och bageri. Man kunde dock beställa bröd för leverans till frukosten förstod vi sent om sider. Sammantaget är vi jättenöjda.

Bonjour, Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. le seul reproche que nous aurions serait sur l'aménagement de la kitchenette qui est vraiment à revoir (le micro-onde tient toute la place de "l'égoutoir".) Cela a été dit à la réception. Cordialement S.J

Cet hôtel, qui propose des petits appartements, est très bien situé, près du Centre et de la gare routière, tout en restant très calme. Le confort est également soigné, avec des petites terrasses pour les chambres et l'accès à la piscine en été. Un bon rapport qualité / prix.

Proches du centre de la ville mais quartier/ rue de l'hotel insalubre. très bonne literie. Impossible de réduire le nombre de nuit car l'hotel et dépendant de la négociation avec le site.

à quoi correspondent les étoiles dans ce type d' hebergement? chambre minable et sale, literie inconfortable, à déconseiller...
