Had a lovely time staying here. Hotel is very comfortable and right on the beach. We stayed with two toddlers (aged 2 and 3). Room was large with two smaller beds for the little ones. There are no tea and coffee facilities in the rooms, which seems to be the norm for all Spanish hotels. We stayed over the Easter week, so weather was warm, but not too hot. There is a large outdoor pool and a smaller paddling pool, both of which are un-heated. The pools were a little too cold at this time of year. Overall service was excellent. Bottled water was little expensive (€3.75 for 1.5 litres), but there was a small shop, 20 minutes walk away which sold the same brand for €0.65 ! We would definately stay here again!

Hotel nicely located on the beach. Rooms are a good size. The well documented road problems are the only real downside. Breakfast was adequate and drink prices are pretty reasonable. There are no bars or restaurants near the hotel so it is rather isolated. A taxi to Puerto Banus is around 12 euro each way. Hotel more suited to couples and golfers rather than families. Not sure if I was unlucky with my bathroom but there was a terrible smell coming up through the shower drain.

Paid extra for uprated sea view room. We could see it (just). Room was nice, large and comfortable. TV only got 2 English Channels (both news). Bar area was rather clinical with high prices for drinks and food (even for a 4 star hotel). Wifi was included but didn't reach as far as our room - what's the point?

A hotel by the beaches of Costa del Sol, with golf course - a beautiful place to relax. Rooms are comfortable, wonderful buffet dinner. We had a good stay in the hotel. Kids did not want to leave.

Nice resort that is worth it's ranking. Location is a bit far from services, so I would recommend that you have a car available unless you plan on speding time only by pool and beach. A bit hard to locate, so I would recommend that you have GPS in car. Good complementary WiFi service, friendly service and fabulous location right next to miles and miles of beach

We stayed at this hotel because it looked great on the web site and the price seemed very fair. We were delighted with this hotel, for several reasons. Our room was large and overlooking the golf course, the pool was lovely, the restaurant serving breakfast was large and the views were spectacular. The food at breakfast and dinner was ample and of good quality. The hotel reception were very helpful and they supplied us with a new Wi Fi password every day. It is necessary to hire a car or to take taxis as the hotel is a little tucked away but a 15 minute car ride took us right into the Port. We will definitely stay here again.

Really big room with quality fittings. Check-in staff were very helpful. Only surprise is that the golf course next door is not part of the hotel. Not necessarily the easiest to find unless you spot and follow the signposts from the A7, otherwise make sure you have a good local map. A great find at a great price.

This was an amazing place! The view was awesome, very easy to get to by car -- staff was excellent! we had great service and good food. The internet and breafkast was wonderful -- easy and great food selection that varies each morning. We would come back and stay again and again. The only downside is that is about a 5K drive to the nearest town, but if you have a car this is a perfect place to stay and relax in Spain for a bit. Very easy drive to Gibraltar as well. Clean, comfortable and worthy of 5 stars. Beach and pool were beautiful.

Room was not properly cleaned upon checking in; loose strands of hair were found on the couch and floor, room was not properly aerated, also the desk and furniture were in need of dusting. The location of the hotel isserene and beautiful but kind of diffiuclt to locate on the GPS, had confusion with Guadalmina Baja/Alta. No bellboy to help with offloading luggage and transporting to hotel room number.

The hotel is nice, they gardens and settings are beautiful, the breakfast is not bad. The rooms and we have seen 5 different ones are not bad. Do not count on getting anything larger than a double bed, the entire hotel only has 4 actual queen size beds, their idea is to put two doubles together and wrapping them with a big sheet, does not work as someone always gets stuck in the crack. also many of the rooms stink of cigarette smoke, the staff tried to be as accommodating as possible and moved us 5 times in just as many days, finally we just gave up unfortunately in the process we had quite a few items go missing which were never found or offered to be replaced. In the end for the money i would stay somewhere else.

WOW! We have just returned from our holiday in the Costa Del Sol, and we are SO happy that we stayed in the Hotel Guadalmina Spa & Golf Resort! From the moment we checked-in, the reception staff were professional, friendly, could speak English very well, and certainly knew how to go the extra mile to make our stay perfect! I admit, that while reading other reviews of the hotel, I was a bit worried, but rather, I just can't believe that this hotel is not 5 star! You probably need to hire a car to get around this part of the world, as Puerto Banus and Marbella City are about 20 minutes drive away. However, on the day of our day tour to Morocco, in which we either could drive 5 minutes to the main road, or walk 15 minutes to the pick up point, we decided to walk, and the streets around the hotel are filled with multi-million dollar villas, and we had a great time admiring the beautiful homes and gardens. While we were on the main road, we got supplies of bottled water at the supermarket, as each small bottle of water was about 50 cent AUD, as opposed to the same bottle at about $4.00 AUD in the hotel. The mini-bar did not have any water bottles, so you would need to buy water at the hotel's bar. The rooms are really 5 star ... we opted for the cheaper way to go, a standard room without a view, but we were pleasantly surprised ... the rooms are HUGE, there was a huge 5-door mirrored wardrobe, the bed was very big and comfortable, we had a flat-screen tv, coffee table and chairs, there is a small entry, and the bathroom is also HUGE, with a very big shower and 2 basins in the bathroom. Outside, we had a very beautiful view of the perfectly manicured gardens and there was a table and chairs outside on our porch. This was one hotel where the air-conditioning was fantastic, and it was COLD, as compared to other hotels we had stayed in, in the very hot Spanish Summer. We read a few bad comments about the restaurant, but I can definitely say, that the quality and the serv

Lovely Hotel, staff excellent. Rooms really nice. Drawbacks were lack of ramps & lifts for children's buggies & hotel a mile from nearest shops, restraunts & bars. Need a car or taxis.

I was very pleased with this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. My room was very large, clean and had a seaside view. Driving to it was challenging due to new road construction (which I blame on my GPS), but there are signs directing you to the property.

This is a great place to stay. The views are great and the staff is fantastic. The only thing tha ruined the stay for us, is that a man came up to me at the pool and asked if we just checked in and said he could tell because it was quiet until we started to swim. I guess he did not like the kids at the pool and they actually had a rule to keep the kids under control, so not to disturb other guests, but the lifeguard never said anything to us. It is set pretty far back and hard to find, but once you are there it is very nice.

We were traveling from Granada to Jerez de la Frontera and wanted a stop by the Mediterranean to cool off. This hotel had very reasonable prices, rooms with porches leading directly to the ocean, a large refreshing salt water pool, outdoor showers, nearby facilities, fabulous restaurant-with-a-view, gracious Andalucian hospitality, golf and a spa. This is the place to stay if you want to park your car, swim in the refreshing sea, rest on the beach under a shady umbrella, and take a break from the heat and rush of sight seeing in the heat of summer. It is a quick drive to Gibraltar. Our only mistake was not booking for longer.

This is a beautiful hotel set on the beach next to a golf club, however there is not a lot else walkable nearby. You definately need a car if staying here, too hot and too far to walk to neasrest shops. Rooms are not in main hotel but are clean and pleasant with sea views. There is no information in reception regarding tourist attractions, but there is a golf booking desk.

Very disappointed. There was excrement under the toilet when we checked in, so we asked for this to be cleaned 3 times... by the time we checked out it was still not done. Thank god we only stayed 2 nights! Staff were extremely unhelpful and unfriendly. Price of restaurant was very expensive for what you got. View from pool was nice however. The hotel was 4 star, the room however 2 star. Also no balcony?!?!

excellent location for visiting Malaga

This is a lovely hotel with a great location on a very quiet beach. However, the staff had to be asked several times to do one thing. It was like there was no management overseeing the place. One barman at the wedding reception was very rude and worked at the pace of a snail

I really enjoyed the experience - ideal for a few days of quiet, calm relaxation amidst beautiful surroundings

Kanonställe om du söker golf och sol/bad i kombination. Inte Marbellas bästa golfbanor men helt ok och väldigt bekvämt. Överlag en mkt positiv upplevelse förutom maten. Ok utbud men utförandet kunde vara bättre, såväl sallader som pasta var dränkta idressing/grädde. Frukost ok.

vi havde et super ophold, et dejligt hotel med god beliggenhed og dejlige faciliteter.desværre var det meget svært at komme til hotellet pga. en masse vejarbejde.

Perfekt för mitt ändamål. Jag ville bara ha någonstans att slappna av och vila upp mig mellan alla andra aktiviteter. Hotellet verkar inte ha gjort några större ändringar på ytan sedan 60-talet vilket bara är charmigt. Bekvämligheterna är det dock inget fel på förutom att WiFi på rummet fungerar halvbra. Det är rent och fräscht, servicen är på topp och personalen är jättetrevlig. Att äta frukost och se soluppgången vid havet genom det 180 gradiga panoramafönstret är balsam för själen.

Det luktade avlopp i rummet som hotellet inte brydde sig om att åtgärda mer än att hälla i klorin el nåt likande. Det var dyrt att äta, dålig service,ingen speciell mat, de tog betalt för att man använde deras bestick vid varje måltid. Poolen utomhus är inte uppvärmd, inomhuspoolen har en åldersgräns på 18 år. Däremot så var golfbanans personal jättetrevliga, svår bana att spela men kul. Dyrt att spela tyvärr, de borde sänka avgifterna så dem får fler spelare, gäller generellt för hela Spanien. Nästa gång så väljer vi ett annat ställe att åka till!

Mycket trevlig semesteranläggning. Ligger vid stranden och golfbanan är utanför dörren. Vi spelade inte golf eller använde SPA-anläggningen, utan tog det bara lungt vid poolen. Räckte gott för oss. Frukosten var en upplevelse, allt man kan önska sig och mer därtill (apelsinjuice med cava t.ex. var gott). Gott om parkeringsplatser till bilen var det också. Vi tog en promenad längst stranden till Puerto Banus, avstånd 5,5 km. Vi tog taxi tillbaka för 10 Euro. Absolut ett bra ställe att vara på om man vill ha lite lugn och ro. Och göra utflykter till olika mål i Marbella.

Séjour très agréable dans cet Hotel - 2 adultes avec 3 enfants. 1ere semaine de mars 2012, soleil permanent 20° à 23° en moyenne. Hotel très calme. Personnel très à l'écoute et très serviable. Petit déjeuner très complet et de qualité, qu'il est possible de prendre sur terrasse en bordure de plage. Vue magnifique sur la mer. Plage cependant très moyenne de sable gris. Hôtel à l'écart des voies de circulation rapides, ce qui est un avantage dès lors que l'on a une voiture à disposition - indispensable. Piscine ouverte, non chauffée, mais nous avons pu cependant nous baigner et profiter des transats disponibles en quantité autour de la piscine et sur la plage. SPA non testé... Chambre confortables avec belle terrasse malgré une déco "un peu vieillotte" comparé aux espaces accueil et restaurant. Un très bon bon Hôtel où nous aurions plaisir à retourner en famille.

Hotellet er ikke nemt at finde uden GPS, og værelserne er små og trænger til renovering. Restauranten har fantastisk seaview og view til hul 10 og 11 på sydbanen, som ligger umiddelbart ved siden af. Greenfee ligger efter danske forhold i den dyre ende, men hotellet har rabatpris. Boogie og leje af køller er rimelige priser. Ring for at høre om priser. Men fedt med 2 flotte18 hullers golfbaner.

Malagan lentokentältä ajo hotellille haasteellinen. Tiekyltit kaikenkaikkiaan puutteelliset, meillä ei ollut riittävän yksityiskohtaista karttaa. Ei siis ollut hotellin vika.

Es war alles sehr schön, das Zimmer großartig, die Leute sehr freundlich.Frühstück OK (wäre schön frisch gepresster Orangensaft und richtiger Kaffee-der Automatenkaffee war nicht gut). Auch war der Silvesterabend, in dem vollgestopften Kellerraum nicht so besonders, die Musik war, trotz internationalem Publikum fast nur spanisch, für uns sehr enttäuschend.

Fantastisk hotell med nydelige omgivelser! Hotellet ligger helt i sjøkanten med egen strand. Flotte terasser forran hotellet. Deilig å spise frokost ute til lyden av bølgeskvulp. Frokosten er storslagen! her mangler ingenting. Svært imøtekommende og vennlig betjening. Et deilig og avslappende sted. Ligger litt avsides til, men Puerto Banos og San Pedro er bare en liten drosjetur unna. Vi har her for å spille golf. Gualdalminabanene er veldig flotte.

Hotellet uppfyllde väl förväntningarna och allt fungerade bra. Rummen stora och välplanerade, frukostbuffén mycket bra, kan intas både inne och ute. Bilderna på siten stämmer väl med verkligheten. Maten i övrigt inte i mästarklass och ganska dyr. Finns dock där som backup till andra bra restauranger i närheten. Benahavis, 15 minuter med bil är väl värt att besöka med många restauranger. Trådlösa nätverket skulle behöva uppgraderas för att bättre täcka hela hotellet och inte bara entrén med god presentanda. Gymmet har åldersgräns på 18 år. I det stora hela en mycket positiv upplevelse.
