Swissotel Berlin - برلين

Me and my friend enjoyed a very pleasant 3-night stay at Swissotel Berlin. The staff were most welcoming, and for our first trip in Berlin could not have asked for more knowledgeable and friendlier front desk - we got great tips on walking routes and nightlife, and anything we could think of. Would absolutely recommend the hotel for anyone travelling to Berlin, location and service were top-notch! And loved the little espresso machine in our room :)

Good location, lovely hotel and rooms are small but fine. Breakfast cost 21 euros so you might want to find some nearby restaurants for food

was just what we axpected and more.

It's a beautiful hotel at the Ku'damm, and there's enough to see there, great connections to S- and U-bahn. Very friendly staff. The concierge showed us where the cinema and nice cocktail bars were. The restaurant is very good and the cocktails in the Palermo bar are also very nice. Mattresses are a bit hard, but with the 'pillow menu' we asked for a topper and new pillows and that made it more comfortable. Good value for the price!

The location was great. I would stay there again.

We arrived quite late to check in to find that we had been upgraded to a suite with fantastic views! We couldnt have asked for friendlier more accomodating staff and the hotel is located within easy reach of various u-bahn and s-bahn stations as well as tourist sites and the kedewe department store. it was a really fantastic hotel and a really great city!

Fantastic hotel located on Ku'damm. Close to U bahn and S bahns so transport is very accessible. Hotel very modern, clean and new. Bathroom fabulous with extras available like nail files, cotton wool etc. Pillow menu beside beds is another nice touch. Hard Rock Cafe is around the corner and beer hall for a good night out!! Perfect hotel for visiting Berlin.

The staff at the Swissotel were pleasent, helpful and courteous and did everything possible to ensure our comfort during our stay. The hotel is ideally located just off the Ku'Dam and is only a short walk from Zoo Train Station. Would highly recoemmend this htel.

The Swissotel Berlin is centrally located one block from the main shopping area. The "Zoo" metro and bus hub are three blocks walking distance. Buses #9 and #109 from Tegel Airport arrive within 15-20 minutes and the fare is approximately Euro 2.50! Bus #100 from the "Zoo" station takes one to the major tourist sites in Berlin. THe Concierge and Staff were attentive to our needs (we asked numerous questions!). We also enjoyed the delicious apples which were at the reception desk. Staying at this hotel truly made our trip to Berlin a notable experience. We were well rested and had every amenity at our disposable.

Good service, but very low capacity in their breakfast area resulting in ques and long waiting time. Not good and a bit disapointing.

This hotel was great overall. My only complaint was the bed because it was very hard. I told the hotel and they changed my room immediately. The rooms were big and comfortable. Location amazing.

I had a great stay at this hotel and was thrilled with the "luxe" details of the room for the price I paid. Great bed, nice pillows, a bathtub and a shower, huge bath sheets, a lovely lighting scheme, and a TERRIFIC espresso coffee maker. The staff was very friendly also. It felt like a "treat" to stay here.

I love this hotel very new, modern, the emplies are very nice. I stay here all the time I come to Berlin. Great location & great restaurant across street.

This Swissotel is comparable to ones in which I have stayed in other major cities. One of the biggest pluses is the great service one gets from all hotel employees. Also, the hotel is conveniently located next to a U-Bahn station and major bus stops. Another major station for the S-Bahn and U-Bahn is only a couple of blocks away. Stops for all the sightseeing buses are less than a block away. There are enough restaurants and coffee shops nearby to be convenient and a major department store with a basement deli is next door. The only thing I would change about this hotel is to reduce or eliminate the charge for internet access (virtually no other hotels charge for this) and lower the price a few euros for the full breakfast. On the whole, however, the value received for the price of the room is extremely good for a high-end hotel in the center of a major city. My room was extremely comfortable and quiet, a definite luxury so near major streets with heavy traffic.

My fiance and i recently stayed at swissotel berlin and it did not dissapoint it was by far the best hotel i have ever stayed in. Great location for all transport links, shopping, restaurants and bars. The staff at the hotel were so pleasant and did not hesitate to help at any opportunity that would arise. It was like a home away from home as i felt very welcome and very safe in the hotel as they have fantastic security. I will definitely will be going back again and any other place i visit i will be looking out for this hotel chain as i wouldnt want to stay anywhere else again!!!

I found the reception staff to be excellent. They are responsive and will go the extra mile to get your the information you need. I certainly put them to the test with my requests for information or directions on where to go and where to dine and not to mention helping me determine if I am able to fly on the morning when the volcanic clouds were heading towards Berlin. Wake me up at $.45am and let me know the latest news! Room was comfortable proven by my recovery from running nose and raised temperature on my first day but soon put to "rest" within the comfy room and hot free coffee provided! Thanks for the warm and caring service. God bless.

Staff at this excellent VERY helpful in every way- made everything very easy for our visit- VERY clean Very Comfortable Wonderful breakfast !!!!!!!!! would go back again without a doubt

Swissotel is a great choice for a Berlin discovery trip (most sightseeing busses leave within few meters from the hotel vicinity). The rooms are a bit small, but I guess that's normal for a city hotel - I definitely recommend a Ku'damm view room! The only minus was the service at the breakfast restaurant - it took 15 minutes to get a cup of coffee and it was basically the only thing the waiters had to cater for, as the rest was buffet.

We had left our passports and cash in the room safe leaving Berlin in a rush until we found out on the train ride to Praha. We called the hotel and asked them to retrieve the items while we made our way back. And they had done exactly so and we found everything intact, safe and sound. They saved our trip!

My room was facing the Ku'dam. Street noise was too much to me and I switched to the inner courtyard. Hotel staff was fantastic.

Very good service. All the employees were nice and pleasant. We were escorted to our room and received an explanation + hotel orientation. All of our requests were taken care of in a speedy manner. Their tourists adviser was very good. Great location. Very comfortable and clean rooms. We very much enjoyed our stay.

The service at this hotel is top notch, from the bar and restaurant staff to the reception staff. Location is perfect; concierge was VERY helpful. Rooms are well appointed - you can even order your prefered type of pillow from the "pillow menu". Bathrooom included seperate bathtub and shower. Only possible improvement would be free wi-fi in rooms

ideal location,close to all transport

A very nice hotel - fairly spacious and good quality rooms, excellent customer service, great location for the shopping. Rooms are very comfortable. Beds initially feel a bit hard but are memory foam so they adjust to your body shape - this may not be to everyone's taste. Bathrooms are not large but contain both good sized bath and shower. They don't charge for coffee capsules for the coffee machine in the room, as many hotels do. Cleanliness is excellent. We both suffered with very dry skin during our stay (November) - difficult to know if this was the hotel air con or the city. Never ate in the hotel so cannot comment on that. Bar service was exemplary. Hotel rated as luxury, which it probably is, but in a slightly corporate way - minimalist feel to the lobby and to the rooms. As a result it felt a bit impersonal. Location is great if you like shopping - but need to get underground to most main tourist sites.

This was our secound time at your hotel, so we knew what to expect and it did not faile.

Hotel was very well priced and the room was beautifully appointed. Location excellent and staff very obliging. Breakfast seemed over priced so we did not avail ourselves of it; OK if you are on a business charge back! Good choice of restaurants within walking distance. We went to Marjellchen, a Silesian restaurant for an unforgettable meal and very dry humoured lady of the house who gave us many laughs!

The Swissotel lived up to our expectations. Clean, effficient and friendly service. Although located a little out of the centre of Berlin it is a 2 minute walk to the nearest tube station. The hotel feels most suitable for business travellers rather than tourists.

Very Nice, good location, public transportation easy, safe, and clean, good price, great place to stay. If you drive parking all over Europe is very expensive and not included. Check before you go.

I was lucky enough to be placed in one of their beautiful corner rooms on the 10th floor with a view! The room was a very and comfortable size. The only thing lacking in the room was the number of available plugs as none were found anywhere but the desk. Nonetheless, still fabulous. The staff is more than accommodating and friendly. The locations is essentially on the Kudamm about a 1 minute walk from the zoo station from which you can get basically everywhere quite easily. Its totally a great value and absolutely worth going back.

We arrived early (9am). We were aloud check in. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Room was nice and comfortable and quiet. Very relaxing. Everything was nice. Only negative was that you had to pay for internet 12Euros per day.
