Hampton Inn Alexandria-Old Town/King St. Metro - الأسكندرية

The hotel staff was very friendly, explaining the area and the free (!) trolley. The free breakfast was very good with a much larger selection that I expected, it was great for my teenage boys! Very impressed with Hampton Inn!

Right next to metro.

It was only a short walk to the Metro Rail System which was so convenient for us to get to the sites in D. C. The room was nice and clean. Parking was not a problem because of the in building parking garage. Some nice choices of restaurants were easily within walking distance.

We were very pleased with our stay. I think the only complaint is an unexpected $15 per night parking fee. However, there was no place to park had it not been for the parking garage under the hotel.

Hotel was very convenient to Metro and had a great little neighborhood to stroll.

Great place to stay right on King St where everything is going on, hotel was clean, staff friendly and helpful! Hotel offers free breakfast, which was good, there was a fee to park but overall the price for the room was reasonable. Will definately stay again!

Our family (2 adults, 2 college students) went to DC for a tourist weekend, and to see friends in/around Alexandria. Staff was accommodating and always pleasant; there was plenty to choose at breakfast, and safe parking. 5 minute walk to King St Metro is a huge plus. Hampton Inn worked well in every way, was a good value, and I would stay there again. My only complaint was the pillows, but that is a personal preference. Highly recommended.

Fine. However the bath towels were damp

The Hampton Inn is very convenient to both the Metro Station and to King Street in Old Town. All the personnel were friendly and helpful. The room was typical of Hampton Inns, very comfortable and well appointed. I plan to stay at the same Inn when I next visit Old Town.

Helpful staff, gave good service and an excellent location.

My daughter and I spent one night here while moving her into a new apartment and the combination of location and price is what sold us. The people at the front desk were very accommodating.

Nice hotel and very reasonably priced. The breakfast was decent. Clean up can start early, so use the Do Not Disturb sign.

good location, close to the metro station. reagan national airport is 2 stops away on the metro. on king street in old town alexandria. fun shops, restaurants and waterfront. would stay again. breakfast was good. staff friendly and helpful. beds were hard is only complaint.

Clean room and common areas. Comfortable bedding. Conveniently located within 3 blocks of Amtrak and Metro, walking distance to the waterfront and free King Street Trolley (stop right in front of the hotel). Also, courteous staff.

Very satisfied, except the bath did not have exhaust fan

I stayed 2 nights at this hotel while in the area for a family function. The hotel is very convenient to the Metro so I flew in to Reagan airport and took the train, then walked. The room was quite nice for the price, although as with many hotels the towels need a major upgrade: bigger and thicker would be better. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable, WiFi while very slow was free, and despite being close to the elevator the room was quiet at night. The airconditioner made the room either too cold or a bit too warm, but this was tolerable for sleeping and I wasn't in the room that much otherwise.

Hotel is in definite need of renovation. The carpet was worn & even coming up in places.

Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly from the front desk to the housekeeping staff. The breakfast buffet was quite good and had a large selection from which I am sure everyone would find something to eat and also saved us some money not having to spend for breakfast. The king sized bed was quite comfortable and the room was neat and clean. I would recommend them to everyone staying in the area.

I stayed here with my 3 kids and wife while visiting DC. This was a nice location with convenient access to the metro, the memorials and museum were just a short 20 minute ride away. The hotel was clean and the staff was helpful. No complaints.

We was very pleased with the room and service. Great location for a short walk to metro to ride to DC. Clean pool and clean free hot breakfast. I will be staying there every time :)

Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad - but I've stayed at comfornt inns for less ($$) that was just as nice. $$$ plus $$ parking was to much. Parking garage was tight and you had to drive around back - in ridiculous traffic to park in a closed garage. Far away from most of the shops so expect to walk. Never made it to the pool, closed at 8:00 - most close at 10:00.

Great to be on the metro and at King Street in Alexandria--easy access to DC, Mt. Vernon, and places to eat.

Service was superb, expecially Devin at front desk.

Very good quality property with excellent access to the metro. Travel to downtown Washington was fast,easy and inexpensive. The surrounding neighborhood has a number of dining and drinking choices

I've always liked Hampton Inns because they are pretty consistent from city to city, and this was no exception. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel staff was very courteous, checked me in quickly to a room away from the elevators - a plus! When I commented at check in that I was tired, the staff provided menus for several resaturants that would deliver to the hotel, which I appreciated. The location was convenient to the King St metro station. I like the wireless internet and breakfast buffet are included in the cost of the room - just makes everything more convenient. There is a business center, though I didn't need to use it. Would recommend this hotel.

Hotel was getting a facelift for flooring while we were there but it did not impact our stay. Remodelling looks good. Hotel is conveniently located near the King Street Metro and the King Street free Trolley. Breakfast was good and staff friendly. Would stay there again.

Hotel was very nice for the price. However, Hotels.com booked me in a smoking room which was very disappointing. Luckily, the front desk was able to move us to a non-smoking room. Had they been sold out, I would have been forced to move to another hotel due to my child's alergies. Again..., very disappointed in Hotels.com.

Not fancy, but clean and comfortable. Great location, on 2 blocks from metro. The neighborhood is nice. Will stay there again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Location close to metro. King Street has great night life, good restaurants, and nice shopping area. Would stay again.

What a great location to see all the sights that Washington has to offer and still have some night life before retiring for the evening. We were two blocks from the Metro which provided us with great transport every day and the exit locations on the National Mall were great. The staff at the hotel was very helpful and courteous and even though it was a little pricey it was well worth it. The breakfasts in the morning were very ample. The lobby area was comfortable and staffed well. In the evening we walked "Old Town" and had a great time in several establishments. Dinner could be had at fine dining or something a little more budget minded. I would definitely stay here again. We booked for 3 adults and 2 children. I had seen that the fold away cots were only available on a first come first serve basis, no problem. We brought our own cot and saved big with just one room.

This hotel is a great value, as it is located two blocks from the metro station on King Street in the heart of Old Town Alexandria. You can literally step outside the hotel and immediately be walking past restaurants and shops. The outdoor pool is okay, but this really isn't the kind of place you would want to stay with young children as neither the hotel nor Old Town itself is geared towards children. The free breakfast was very nice, with cheese omelets, sausage, and fresh fruit. From the hotel you can walk two blocks to the metro station, and be in downtown DC in ten minutes so it is an excellent location for sightseeing the entire area. There is a free trolly bus that runs continuously along King Street all the way down to the river, so you can ride it if you don't feel like walking. Our room was clean and well laid out, and the mattress was excellent. Quite frankly I really can't think of a single criticism, this really is a great value for the money and a wonderful place to stay!

Great location close to metro. Trolley on king st is nice. Nice historic neighborhood for walking. Clean friendly staff. Breakfast is not great but good enough to start the day with. Pool only good for a quick swim no atmosphere
