Radisson Blu Seaside Hotel, Helsinki - هلسنكي

Parity of price and quality. Very testy and varied breakfast. Responsive stuff. Room have slippers, bath accessories, iron and coffe/tea. Hotel location is very good, 10 minutes walking from undeground station Kamppi and 15 min to Railway station.

Great location with a tram stop directly outside the front door. The breakfast buffet was extensive and enjoyable. We stayed two nights and spent very little time at the hotel as we filled our boots with the fun Helsinki had to offer. The sea views are of a working port so you won't be seeing glorious beaches but cranes and warehouses. It was my second stay there and I wouldn't hesitate returning.

We spend three nights in a room with a couple bed. The room was clean and the hotel environment was nice. The hotel was situated at about 15 minutes walk from the main railway station and it was easy to find.

WE ARE QUITE HAPPY WITH THE CONCIERGE SERVICE AS THE STAFF ARE HELPFUL. LOCATION WISE, THE TRAM STOP IS JUST OUTSIDE THE HOTEL AND IT CAN TAKE US TO THE MAIN SHOPPING AREA AND THE RAILWAY/METRO STATION. HOTEL IS RATHER CLEAN AND B'FAST IS SUPERB AS THEY SERVE PRETTY GOOD STANDARD OF FOOD AS COMPARED TO OTHER EUROPEAN COUNTRIES I BEEN TO.

I loved staying at radison! Great breakfast with many selections of food and Great staff and service! Very near to walk to the city center. Im very satisfied with my holiday at radison! Ill be back for sure!! 5/5!

The room was quite big, but lacked maintenance and the quality you see in other 4 star hotels (It was quite big, probably because we booked for 3 Persons). A big upside of this hotel is the location and the great breakfast buffet. Quite in the center, all attractions are easily reached by foot.

The hotel is very conveniently located just on the tram line 6 and not far from the town centre. The staff are helpful & friendly (we were there during the Xmas holidays & they provided us with a list of the opened restaurants). The rooms are very clean, but the mattresses are really wobbly and should be replaced. All in all very good value for money.

Nice small sauna available, nice staff, relaxing coach in the entrance, but the hotel could use some fresh-up. Seems quite old.

It was a great stay in this hotel.good service for a fair price. Bed are very comfortble, but if you will require for 3rd or 4th bad, they will provide will a kind of foldble sofa that is small and absolutely not confortble.

The overall standard of the hotel is very good. However there are two things that really need improvement; the breakfast room and the tv system. The breakfast room is probably the noisiest experience I have had. They insist on having back ground music turned on, but the overall noise makes it impossible to actually hear the music - it just adds to the overall noise (and yes, they actually refuse to turn the music off). The tv system is just a mystery really, it takes 5 seconds to switch from one channel to the next, and after doing that a few times the tv freezes and have to be turn off.

Was just happy to stay a night there, briefly: comfortable room & awesome breakfast!

Location is not the best(1,5km) from center.Rooms are clean,matress and pillows r very good.Wonderful Breakfast-not to miss.

Hotel is conviently situated for the Ferry Terminal and the No 6 Tram. We enjoyed our short stay and found the Staff at the desk extremely helpful. They directed us to a destination in the town and also the Finair Airport Bus. Breakfast was delightful and had a large variety of both hot and cold food on a a self service menu. The room was clean and tidy with a well appointed bathroom that contained a heated towel rail and the luxury of an enamelled bath.

The staff was super to deal with - so courteous, efficient and kind. The hotel is in a good location to hop on the tram or walk to various sites. I would highly recommend it.

Enjoyed my 5 night stay here in Juky 2011. The hotel isn't in the city centre but there is a tram at the door which takes you directly to the main railway station and from there it is pretty easy to get anywhere. The hotel is right opposite one of the terminals for ferries to Tallinn which is great. My room was nice and even had a microwave oven, free internet connection whcih always worked well and a great view over the harbour area. Breakfast was a really nice buffet with plenty to choose from. The hotel also has bikes which are available free for guests for four hours at a time which was nice. Overall a really nice hotel.

Overall a lovely hotel but let down by a few specifics. *Breakfast: Although ample choice I felt that the standard was a bit low. *Room temperature: In the midst of a heatwave the lack of air conditioning in the rooms is a bit of a let down. *Wifi: Free wifi was down and no alternative was offered.

Good budget option a short tram tride from the centre. Outstanding breakfast.

The hotel was a bit worn down. The corridors looked like military dorms. My room had no air conditioning. Room cleaning service was poor.

Was a little disappointed with this hotel. Rooms are small & not at all modern. Tried for a better one, but was met with resisdence. Breakfast was wonderful. Found the hotel was pricey for what you got. When picking the water view, you also get the street noise. Wouldn't stay there again & wouldn't reccomend.

Not being able to turn off the heated towel rails on a really hot day, and getting a fan that clunked all night, were not endearing experiences

Location good - and that was about the only good point...unfortunately..In my opinion this hotel is not 4* ...

The location is not as close as the other raddison hotels in the area, but it's in a more natural (native) location I would say. The hotel quality and rooms are fantastic so no worries there. Great place to stay at. There's a flea market and a couple traditional restaurants nearby.

I have stayed in many of Helsinki's hotels but I enjoyed my stay here the most. Great room, good breakfast pleasant staff. Only gripe would be the choice of TV channels is too limited-there's a limit to how much Finnish TV one can tolerate!

Well..... we stayed there in April. The first thing you notice in the lobby is a huge square 'swing platform' right in the middle of the lobby. They must have hired some "decorator" who convinced them this was a way for hotel chains to try to give the appearance of being a boutique hotel. Firstly, the thing takes up a lot of space and secondly, does anyone actually sit on those things? Then you encounter the children's fun area.... why in the middle of the lobby??? Check in was painless..... then you notice the HORRIBLY soiled carpeting, like there was a terrible flood with dirty water everywhere... I was wondering if it was actually a pattern, but nope... it was stained... everywhere.. (maybe the Finnish winter came indoors???) The hallways have all the charm of a hospital in Tblisi, Georgia: brick walls and institutional blue painted doors, scratched paint everywhere and the strangely stained carpet. The room: you walk in the small room and you are faced with an ironing board right in front of the door, (obviously an afterthought as there's no place to put it) more scratched paint and the window looks out on a dismal dark backyard. The bathroom looks strangely institutional like in a hospital. the soap and shampoo are in a refillable wall dispenser-- Motel-6 style. We asked if there was "a better room" and got one ---but the new one had scratched and warn paint everywhere, stained carpet, dirty stained chairs, even the bedspread was damaged. I thought Finns were clean and tidy? How much is it to pay a handyman to touch-up paint?

Hotel close to ferry terminal. Convenient location for visiting city as tram terminal stop close to hotel. Room slightly on small side. Seperate sauna areas very small. Breakfast ok but not special. Hotel staff extremely friendly and helpful.

The staff at the hotel was very helpful in the restaurant and the breakfast dining rooms with one of us with a gluten free allergy. The food was amazing and the service was great as well. The room itself was very comfortable and spacious. We would definitely stay there again!!!

Wonderful hotel. friendly staff. fabulous buffet breakfast (like a fancy restaurant) included. very clean & spacious room. free internet in the room (fast, too). separate bathroom and toilet. comfortable bed and sofa bed/ only caveat: NO free TV (my kids were disappointed) Paid a very reasonable price for my family of four. I spend over 60 days in hotels in the US and overseas every year. This hotel was one of the best ever. HIGHLY recommended!

It is a lovely hotel and the breakfast was good, However,on checking out the staff did not say any thing particularly friendly,such as"Thank you for staying with us;hope you had a pleasant stay with us;or look forward to you returning to Helsinki and the Radisson Blue very soon etc

We have stayed in this hotel twice now, and both times were extremely pleased. Its about a 10 min walk to the city centre, but the No. 6 tram runs from the railway station right past the front door. Breakfast had plenty to offer all tastes. Rooms were comfortable, though a little small. Staff lovely, very helpful.

Nice clean hotel on the quayside, good location just off the beaten track - so nice quiet area.... City centre is a 10 minute walk and a nice one at that, give you chance to appreciate the streets, culture, atmosphere, parks all on the way... Very good value when compared to other hotels in the area, would stay here again....... Hope you enjoy!

Great breakfast; best comfortable beds I've slept in for along time; excellent weekend rate; friendly and helpful staff - willing to give information and cared about our stay.

The conditioner is managed from central climat control center. It was very cold and no one could change anything.

Very nice hotel at the port and very close to the center. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfasts are good. Recommended.

We chose the hotel for convenience and the weekend deal and we're very impressed both with the rooms and service.

My sister and I spent the last four days of our holiday in Finland at the Seaside Hotel. Upon arrival we were greeted by Pekka who was so charming, friendly and extremely helpful. He really is so welcoming that you immediately feel calm and relaxed. Our room was on the fifth floor and the only bit of disappointment here was that we had no view from the room, but then we weren't actually planning to stay inside for the daytime. We soon realised though at night that this was a good thing, as there was no noise from traffic or people passing by, so we could keep our balcony doors open for fresh air. Breakfast was wonderful with so much to choose from and plentiful, freshly baked bread (still warm), cheeses, meats, yoghurts, fresh fruit, together with boiled or scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, etc. Pekka also arranged transport from the hotel to the Airport for us which didn't cost us a fortune. The result was a wonderful relaxing and stress free stay to the end of our great holiday.

Oli mukavaa rentoutua viikonlopun verran Helsingissä. Hotellin aamiaiset olivat ne joita odotin eniten enkä joutunut pettymään. Sängyt olivat pehmoisia ja huone rentouttava.
