My room (107) had some sort of generator/compressor outside that was so loud it was like having a Mack Truck engine running in the room. The walls and bed were vibrating when it ran. If it ran all the time, I might have tuned it out, but it ran intermittently through the night. I had to get up at 6 AM and was going to bed at Midnight so I couldn't use ear plugs to dampen the noise. I was too tired to pack up and demand another room.

The room thermostat was set for 85 degrees during the morning time schedule so I woke to the room being over 81 degrees and still heating. I had to reprogram t-stat to normal setpoints.

I was very pleased with my stay! It was very clean and the hotel decor was beautiful. Everyone was very nice and friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was good and the staff that worked the breakfast were all very helpful and moved quickly to feed the Sunday morning rush. Overall, I had a great stay and I will certainly be recommending this hotel to others and staying their again!

other than the annoying testing of the fire alarm system , I would gibe the hotel a 4 plus.. thew testing should have been done earlier in the day when the majority of guests had not been checked in yet

The Hotel and my room were tastefully decorated but the room was noisy. I would recommend getting a room on the top floor it may cut down on some of the noise.

Good breakfast , nice room and good staff

There was a wedding. They put the men above us. Not good. Rotten experience. The staff however was great. The rooms are like cardboard, you can hear everything.

Location was good for Boston Visit it is 30 mins drive from Boston but not connected with any public transport. Room was okay but little noisy because we could hear voices from outside and bathroom had some kind of noise too like water flowing all the time. Wired internet did not work but wireless internet was good and served the purpose. Overall not as good as other Marriot I have visited till now but cannot rate it bad.

I enjoyed our stay @ Residence Inn By Marriott Brockton. The only issue I had was the location of the hotel as it was far away from where I wanted to visit (Providence, RI).

wonderful place to stay

This hotel was VERY noisy. The halls were very noisy, the garbage disposal was the loudest noise I EVER heard and the fan in the bathroom was VERY loud and could not be turned off. Poor location with no restaurants within walking distance and the free food in the evenings was of very poor quality.

I love staying at this hotel when i come to brockton to visit my family. Its always a warm welcome...and i love the breakfast buffet. :)

it was great everyone was so nice!

This is the best hotel I've stayed at in years! It was fabulously remodeled and looked like new. Rooms were mini-suites with frig, stove, sink, micro, large bedroom, large bath, plenty of closets, cozy living room area with chaise lounge and TV. It was NEW, clean, quiet. Front desk was always manned with at least 2 people. There was no wait to check in or out. Pool was great! Fitness area was clean and open 24 hours a day. Two computers were available with fast internet access. I have no idea what more you could have done so I rate this 5 stars and say it was absolutely great.

The room was very clean, the staff was helpfully. The complimentary breakfast is absolutly good with waffle, bacon, eggs, saucage etc... you can add in weekdays a complimentary DINNER !!!! Wonderful place to stay !!! P.S. I'm soory for my bad english, french language is my first language.

I've stayed at this property a couple of times ... its not really "near' any tourist locations, but my friend and I stay there when we are attending a function in Brocton and dont want to drive home to Boston after drinking. The property is clean, the front desk is friendly, there's free breakfast every morning, the pool area looks nice - we've never had the chance to go swimming. Its nice to have a second room so if your room-mate cant sleep they can go into the living room area and watch TV or read without disturbing anyone. It would be nice if this hotel had some rooms with king-size beds but thats the only thing I would change about this hotel.

No major complaints at all excpt be aware of the fact that they don't tell you in advance of their $60 holding policy fee they take from your card incase there are hotel damages. So whatever the total cost of your room is make sure you have $60 extra available in your acct at the time of check in or your acct maybe negative. The fee is returned to you, but if you are un-aware you will be caught off guard by this. I feel this should've been pre-informed instead of me finding out by checking my acct activity. So beare the $60 holding fee. other then that no other issues or complaints at all.

The best part was the jacuzzi! Concierge were very friendly and insightful with helping us find places to eat. The room was very nice and comfortable. I have a great stay. a home away from home

It was only one night, but I wish it could have been longer. The staff was great, the breakfast was delicious, the room was very comfortable and overall a pleasant stay. It was central to just about everything you would need. I thought it was great!

The room was beautiful and immaculate. However the phone didn't work, the toilet bowl overflowed and the fireplace smelled like gas. The maintanence man came right away and fixed everything. The breakfast was really great! The staff were very pleasant. I would stay there again.

I do not know if Alfonso is his name...or if I am spelling it correctly, but this fellow was wonderful. We were a late check-in and yet he offered us a selection of floors on which to stay. When we requested a roll-away bed he was the person who delivered the bed to us. Unfortunately for him, he was also the fellow on duty when it came to checkout time. All in all if all of the Residence Inn's were staffed by folks like Alfonso, my travels would so much more pleasent. Thank you.

After a 5 hour drive from NY it was nice nice to be greeted by smiles and timely check-in. The room was comfortable and clean. My only dislike for this hotel is the area, wouldn't go out after dark and the bathroom fan sounded like a Mack truck idling!!! Would definitely stay again
