absolutely amazing..staff was phenomenal...eager to please and to ensure check -in and check-out were done without a glitch. Our suite with fireplace was beautifully prepared with lovely music playing as we entered late at night. Complimentary breakfast was better than most breakfast restaurants that charge exceedingly exorbitant rates. Just a wonderful, relaxing experience .We will be back!! with thanks again.

The room and service were excellent. Hotel was built in stages so is difficult to navigate especially when coming back in the evening when most doors are locked. Continental Breakfast was acceptable but not replenished so get there early. Also, the fireplace is electric so not as romantic as it sounds, however the hotel is like a refuge in the country even though you are one block to a subway stop so have access to most of toronto attractions. I would definitely stay there again. Service and location was excellent near the river and walking trails.

Could be fabulous. However bathtubs in both rooms need to be chalked. Why neglect such an easy fix? Cheap? Inefficient? Disorganized? I don't understand. Also very noisy. Could here everything going on in halls. Not cool for the huge price tag.

We held our wedding there, and everything went perfectly. Our event captain ensured everything went according to plan. The reverend working with the Old Mill had everyone engaged in the ceremony, always had the audience smiling or laughing. There are numerous wonderful spots for photos, pointed out to us by our captain, who led our guests to the reception room while the photos were taken. Dinner was delicious, and elegantly plated. Not a glass went empty without staff appearing to ask what we would like. The staff were quick, efficient and always there when you needed them without being in the way. Overall very well done and i would recommend other couples getting married to seriously consider the Old Mill.

Enjoyed our stay very much, however it was expensive. Very convenient to subway station. Excellent food in restaurant but I feel it was also very expensive.

We loved the room the moment we stepped in. The only thing is we heard a compressor type noise until around 1:30 am and that resumed just before 8:00 am. The staff was most accommodating and we were relocated to another room that was an upgrade from the original. Everyone did their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The location is just steps from beautiful parks and the Humber river. I highly recommend this hotel.

Nice rustic hotel catered more to weddings and parties than travelers. Service is good but not great.

Everything was outstanding: food, service, etc. The one minor problem was some difficulty parking, apparently due to construction across the street.

I've stayed there the first time a year ago while attending a conference there. I loved the scenary and the food buffets were so delicious. I decided to stay an extra night in Toronto and have my husband see where I stayed. He took liked the scenary but since we stayed there on a Monday evening - there was no dinner buffet. I guess thats only on weekends. We still enjoyed our stay!!

Great choice and for once the ratings were understated. The service was really fantastic from the second we arrived at the front desk, to drinks at the quaint lobby pub and then the yummy restaurant. The free parking was nice but the walk across the street from the parking lot in the rain wasn't so nice. Room was nicely furnished, garden tub, separate shower, and clean as mom's house. The fireplace was a nice touch even if we didn't use it (record heat for Toronto during our stay).

very comfortable and welcoming. Staff were most helpful in guiding us to the places we needed to get to by subway or by foot. The area is safe and convenient

Incredible luxury for the price, great breakfast included, next to wooded park where kayaks and bicicles can be rented. Metro station is close and connects to all must see spots, but it is a long ride. Great place to get away from it all, beautiful grounds. I would go back!

We went to Toronto for a memorial service for a close friend. The hotel was near the church and provided a wonderful refuge at a time when we were both feeling very sad. The room was beautifully decorated, the staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant was very nice.

Had a wonderful stay in the hotel. Loved sitting by the "fireplace" while it was windy and raining.

Throughly enjoyed the stay. I grew up in the neighbourhood and it was great to walk the river valley and reminisce.

Reasonable price compared with inner city hotels with only a $3 short train ride to toronto city. Nice surrounding area with walks along river. Good food, especially the sunday night buffet. Very nice bathroom with great shower, although the whirlpool bath was a little noisy with the whirlpool setting turned on which put us off using it a little. The only thing I can really fault were the few places to hang things up and store empty luggage: no coat hooks, only a small wardrobe with a couple of coat hangers and only one hook in the bathroom for towels with no where else to hang them. Very minor point in an otherwise great stay.

Beautiful rooms, excellent restaurant dinner buffet, helpful staff

The Old Mill Inn is certainly a delightful place to stay - it has the charm of a romantic bed and breakfast with the service of a 5 star hotel. We loved the oversized jacuzzi tub and the Home Smith bar - a very comfy place to sit and have a few drinks or listen to great jazz. The only difficulty we experienced was finding the right driveway in order to expedite our check-in. Will definitely be back.

Quintessentially an 'English' Inn/Hotel in a quiet suburban area. However conveniently located to downtown Toronto by subway. Good-sized room with helpful service staff.

This hotel is gorgeous and although its a little out of the way is worth it. I stayed in the city for two nights and wished i had booked all of my stay in here. Its wonderful.

Nice, comfortable hotel set by the river in Toronto. Our room was upgraded on arrival which was great and they even had a downturn service which included chocolates and a brief weather forecast for the next day! The on site resturant was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. Price included breakfast and parking which most of the downtown hotels don't. Down sides: a little tricky to find for first timers in Toronto without satnav, the air conditioning in the room was quite noisy through the night and it would have been nice to have a swimming pool as part of the 4 star rating. Would we stay again? Yes.

The hotel is beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. No complaints. I'd love to stay there again for a longer stay to take advantage of more of the ammenities at the Inn/Spa as well as touring the surrounding area.

I was looking for a nice romantic Inn to take my wife for our anniversary and found this Inn. I must say it was absolutely perfect! We loved our room and I would like to thank the staff for making our stay extraordinary. thank you to Brad in particular who arranged for champagne and rose petals to be waiting in room which were much to my wife's delight and strawberries and more champagne waiting for us after dinner. Only negative was the entertainment in the dining room, although the disco band was lively we felt it was really the wrong venue and even moved to the jazz bar to eat which was much more in line with what we expected for the Inn.

Old Mill Inn & Spa är ett mysigt hotell som ändå är överraskande stort. Rummen är rymliga, rena och bra utrustade. Personalen är väldigt vänliga och trevliga samt mycket tillmötesgående. Hotellet ligger 5 minuters promenad från Old Mill tunnelbanestation så på 30 minuter är man nere vid Union Station där exempelvis Hockey Hall of Fame ligger. Old Mill Inn & Spa är helt klart att föredra framför hotellen inne i stan.

Uno dei migliori hotel nei quali ho soggiornato. Affascinante sotto ogni punto di vista, accoglienza, locali comuni, colazione, tutto a un livello eccellente. La fermata della metro è vicina ma noi eravamo in macchina e ci siamo mossi sempre con quella. Lontano dal centro, scordatevi di andare a piedi... L'unico altro neo doccia e water, entrambi molto molto rumorosi, ma proprio per trovare il pelo nell'uovo. Bellissimo!
