Such a great location! 5 minute walk from the beautiful beach and casinos was great. The Belgium waffles at the complimentary breakfast were yummy and good coffee. The pool was being pressure washed, so It was closed, but the hot tub was hot and clean. My room had a balcony and the bed was very comfy. I was there for two nights and decided to stay one more. I will definitely stay here again when I visit south Lake Tahoe.

Worth money. Good breakfast + convenient location. Will surely come back again.

It was just ok. Nothing special. Ok breakfast.

When you pay $50 per night you usually don't expect much. but I was so pleasantly surprised with the room quality. great breakfast and friendly staff. I stayed in Motels that cost twice as much and don't give this great comfort and experience. It will become my preferred motel in SLT next time we go.

away from the casinos, by a block, and away from the lake, by a block! great location. cheap. easy to get to. breakfast was easy, eggs, potatoes, bagels, cereal.

we liked the hotel. It was not far from the Heavenly gondola. It was a good deal.

We prefer the motels in the trees just off the Tahoe strip, and Rodeway is one of the best. Super clean, no problems. FYI the pool is not year-round as advertised.

cool place AM breakfast. get belgium waffles in the AM but one machine for everyone there. good place to stay if you want to board at heavenly. easy walk and they have a shuttle that goes around thats free. not the fanciest but it is reasonable

This is a basic hotel with few amenities. Our room was on the third floor and there was no elevators. Luckily, we didn't have much luggage to carry. Swimming pool was out of order, as was the hot tub. However, hot tub was opened later in the night but we already made other plans. The included continental breakfast was limited in items compared to other hotels I've stayed at. However, the waffle maker was a bonus; very easy to use and waffles tasted great! Stay here if you're just looking for a decent place close to the Stateline casinos (2 blocks) and don't need a lot amenities.

I lived in a double bed room with two queen size beds. The room was small and the furnitures were definitely low quality. However for the price I paid it was fair. I loved both the location as well as their morning breakfast option and for this reason this place should get a good rating.

Over all, the hotel was great! Our Hotels.com rates were VERY affordable. 2 double room was really small but the beds were super comfortable! They were able to give us a mircrowave and fridge so that was a great treat. Location was wonderful - 5 min walk to the casinos. We had jerk neighbors that were loud but the hotel staff was able to quiet them down after we made two phone calls. The only one really bad thing is that the free breakfast should say "while supplies last" and not that it's served until a certain time. I went down with 15 mins still on the clock for breakfast and they were all out. I was really looking forward to some warm food. Wifi worked and was free.. If you're on a budget and are ok with small sleeping rooms, I would book here. I do plan to stay here for all my Tahoe trips going forward.

Me and my friends used to stay here all the time, but there seems to be new management. The blond woman who checked us in was about the most curt and unhelpful person I think I have ever dealt with at a motel. There was a very pushy salesman trying to get some tour or something to everyone first thing in the morning, which was really harsh and unsettling at 7:30am. I am going to certainly look around more when staying in South Lake Tahoe.

Very adequate room and facility at good price. Very good breakfast and community kitchen were bonuses. Helpful staff.

This place is very cheap and well worth it . Its comfy and its cheap. Why wouldn't you stay here? Unless you are up-tight and need a valet, stay here. Its super convenient and there is a shuttle to the slopes.

Friends cautioned me about the stay saying that all of those places down there were basically roach motels. The property is very nice and the breakfast was as good as a casino.

very quiet and close to everything

The hotel is at a great location. Full breakfast. Rooms are smaller than i ecpected. Clean looking but not as clean as i like a room to be. Fine for an overnight stay.

Near to Harvey's Casino (about half mile)...okay place to stay. Microwave was common. rest all was okay.

it was in an average location off the main drag. Paint chips coming off the tiles in the shower. breakfast was ok. scrambled eggs and sausage mix and potatoes got me thru the first portion of the day at kirkwood. Also, the heater was loud and cover was broken

Will stay again with my family of five. Hotel put a crib microwave and refrigerator in the room before our arrival. This was very appreciated. Breakfast was great. Building exterior was great. Rooms a lil outdated. Carpet needed updating. Other then that stay was great.

Best motel value I have ever had. Although the room was very small, it was clean and quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The sheets were nice as well as the bedspread (not one of those scratchy, ugly polyester types). The included breakfast was excellent, with hit eggs, potatos and waffles as well as your usuall continental selections. We were very happy with our stay and will return next time in Tahoe.

Wifi was not great, property needs to pick up trash on ground outside. Great Free breakfast. There was no fridge or microwave in room but a common room kitchen on 2nd floor would be nice if you want to cook. Overall a great room for a great price. Plus only charged me a flat 15 bucks for my dog, instead of everynight.

The staff was very friendly. The room was small but clean. The bathroom needed a lot of work done to it but the shower worked good. One of the reasons I picked this hotel was because it offered free breakfast with stay but it was so crowded in the breakfast area that we couldn't move and all the tables were taken so we ended up leaving.

With our 5 year old, I always ask for extra sheets when we stay in a motel, just in case they don't change the sheets as often as they should. It took two calls to get the extra sheets. We called again half an hour later. It came right away. At other places, sometimes they would say house keeping is off this late and they don't have the key type of refusal. We liked the hot breakfast. We stayed at green lantern and blue jay in the same area before, to us Rodeway inn is overall better than the other two.

Good, basic, clean hotel with good breakfast, easy walk to ski resort and casinos.

it was an overall good stay. the only thing that would be nice is if they had more parking..

I have no complaints about this hotel. Staff was friendly, room was clean and comfortable with a coffee machine. Breakfast was great including eggs, bagels, cereal, waffles etc. I would definitely recommend it.

great location and the ski shuttle stops right at the front door. Room was a little dated but warm and cozy and I was pleasantly surprised to find a fridge and microwave in there as well. WiFi was hopeless but that was my only complaint. Would stay there again. Nice easy half mile walk to the casinos too...

One queen room was very small, shower head needs to be fixed, took 10 min for water to get hot, but it was like 15 degrees outside. Can walk to casinos, only 2 blocks away.

Hotel was ok but all the outside noise is inside. even walk/flush of toilets upstairs/neighbors are audible clearly. Breakfast was good but when we went it was too crowded.. Good thing is it has private beach access which helped me to take wonderful photos of the sunset :-)

Needs updating, they were having problems with wifi, wasn't able to use. Bed was uncomfortable. Small room, Hair dryer didn't work. Too expensive, even if it was holiday weekend. Breakfast was good. Waffles, The only fruit was canned diced peaches swimming in sugar syrup.

Bathroom was more updated, but the toilet seat was broken. Everything else was old - including the Zenith TV. Just sprayed lots of Lysol and at least had good sleep.

Room was small and old but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great but a lot of noise, you can hear everything next door specialy when there're kids and pets. Next time I'llmake sure no pets and kids next door, that was our nightmare.
