Hotel Emona Aquaeductus - روما

يقع الفندق في مقر جيد إلى حد معقول وعلى مسافة قريبة من الجزء القديم من المدينة، وهناك محطة مترو قريبة التي من خلالها يمكنك الوصول إلى أي مكان في المدينة. هناك العديد من المطاعم المجاورة منهم ما لديه قوائم طعام بأسعار معقولة إلي الأكثر تكلفة. وكان موظفو الفندق في المبنى الرئيسي ودودين ويقدموا المساعدة، وباحة الفندق هو مكان لطيف للاسترخاء. ونقدنا الوحيد من الفندق هو دورة المياه في غرفتنا، والتي كان بها يد إمساك لدش الاستحمام من طراز قديم بحيث لا يمكنك التحرك بالدش سوى في حوض الاستحمام. بصفة عامة كنا راضين عن إقامتنا.

إن الفندق قديم جدا ولكنه نظيف ويبدو بحالة جيدة. كان الطعام في وجبة الإفطار لا بأس به ووفير، ولكن لم يكن هناك ما يكفي من الأطباق/السلطانيات دائما. وكان فريق العمل على وجه التحديد غير ودود ولكنني وجدت الشيء نفسه في الفنادق الإيطالية الأخرى. هناك محطة ترام حول الزاوية التي توصلك إلى محطة Termini في حوالي 10 دقائق. لا ينبغي أن يصنف الفندق فئة 4 نجوم، ولكنه كان مريحا للغاية، وسيكون للسائحين قاعدة جيدة لرؤية روما.

من المثير للاهتمام، أنه لم يعرف أحد من سيارات الأجرة التي أخذتها أثناء إقامتي هذا الفندق بالاسم. كان من السهل بما فيه الكفاية، أن أذكر العنوان وكانوا يعرفون على الفور كيفية الوصول إلى هناك. كان سعره جيد، والغرفة لطيفة والخدمة عموما رائعة. فريق العمل يقدم المساعدة على الفور ورائعون عند التحدث معهم. المشكلات الوحيدة التي واجهتها كانت ... أولا، مجفف الشعر مقزز. قم بإحضار المجفف الخاص بك أو كن على استعداد لشراء واحد. ثانيا، أطلب على وجه الخصوص غرفة لا تطل على الفناء. بعد يوم طويل من التجول بروما، سيضمن لك الحصول على أصوات عالية من النافذة الخاصة بك لأشخاص يثرثرون كل ليلة. إنه ليس خطأ الفندق أن الناس تكون في حالة سكر. وبعد أن اشتكي في كل مرة يقال لهم أن يكونوا هادئين. مرة أخرى، قدم فريق العمل خدمة رائعة ولكن السياح هم السياح. لذلك وفر على نفسك العناء واحصل على غرفة لا تطل على الفناء. ثالثا، يجب عل الفندق التعاقد مع شركة تنظيم الجولات للقيام بجولات مختلفة في جميع أنحاء ايطاليا. لديهم كتيبات عند المدخل. إنني لا أوصي تحديدا بالجولات بالحافلة. فالجولات بالحافلة تعتبر ابتزازا، فأنت مجبور على إنفاق الأموال على المشروبات عندما يتوقفوا لاستراحة دورة المياه وتناول وجبة الغداء. إذا لم تذهب في جولة بالحافلة، عليك بجلب المياه الخاصة بك ليوم كامل وربما الغذاء. منطقة جيدة، ويوجد سوق رخيص صغير بالجوار يوجد به مواد غذائية ومشروبات بأسعار معقولة (الصودا و 2 ليتر ماء). يوجد G.Fassi Gelato في 63 Principe Phillip (على ما أظن). وتباع البيتزا بأسعار معقولة في المنطقة.

Overall a nice hotel, rooms a bit small and noisy, but decor of hotel nice, very art-deco,breakfast was good, Andreas on the front desk very helpful, about a ten minute walk to collesuem, 5 minutes to subway, 10 to rail way station. overall good.

We stayed for three nights at this hotel in Feb. Everything was very good apart from the 3 euro city tax that is extra per person per night. The rooms are a little small but are well maintained and full of art works. In fact the entire hotel is packed with antiques which made it really interesting. It was a pleasure playing cards in the main lounge. The breakfasts are good with good service. The location at the tram terminus gives easy access to the sites. Local restaurants are limited but reasonable value. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

I was very pleased.....The photos on line matches the hotel.......The service was very good.

This is a 4 star hotel, but it does not feel like one. The hotel is very neglected. There were a lot of broken things, especially in our bathroom. The light was hardly hanging on the wall, the shower was broken and dirty, covered with mildew, there was a vent that was missing 2 of the screws, so it was hanging just on two others partially down. The room was big with tall ceilings, but relatively basic. Again, the hotel seemed very neglected and the staff was ok, but relatively cold and flat. The location was not great. it is a bit of a walk to the subway, but if you get the Rome pass you can use the subway for 3 days for free which is nice.

THE STAFF WHERE REALLY NICE AND VERY HELPFUL.PLENTY TO EAT IF YOU WANTED A BIG BREAKFAST.THE ROOM WAS CLEAN THE ONLY DISAPPOINTMENT THERE WAS NO KETTLE TO HAVE TEA/COFFEE IN BEDROOM.HOTEL WAS ABOUT 15MINUTES WALK TO COLOSSEUM.I WOULD USE THE HOTEL AGAIN IF I RETURN TO ROME.

Stayed here for 3 nights , The room was good sized with clean bathroom the staff were polite and helpful the breakfast was ok nothing special. the location of the hotel was brill only 5 Min walk from metro which take you everywhere its 15 Min walk from the Colosseum

Stay there for 4 days after cruise trip. On the day of departure at 5:45 am, the night clerk at the desk said we have to pay for the stay. I showed him the prepaid email receipt from Hotels.com, he still did not believe it. He searched all over for payment evidence in his file and on the computer. He said that he will call the police and we shouldn't go to the airport. The airport shuttle picked us up at 6:00 am sharp. Upon returning home, I called Hotel.com. The agent called them while I wait. The matter was resolved.

Had a great time at Hotel Emona, staff was great, my little room was safe and clean and comfortable. The hotel is about 3 blocks from the train which can take you all over the city pretty easily. I took it to Vatican for example within 10 minutes. The area near Giovanni is exceptional. It's more open, great wine bars, restaurants and this church is breathtaking. It was kind of nice to be in a less touristy area of Rome than for example Via Veneto which feels less authentic. Everyday they have a nice breakfast spread with eggs, bacon, pastries, coffee etc. I liked it and was happy to stay there.

This is a cute and artsy hotel with some lovely art on the walls and lots of interesting antiques. The room was fair enough, although the sliding glass door to the bathroom left one with a voyeristic feeling - and not in a good way. Bed was not the most comfortable, but surviveable. The worst part of my experience was the sub-par service and snobby attitude og the receptionist. He was not willing to help in any manner, and even though I had indicated that I would be travelling with a two-year old, there was no baby bed in the room. When I pointed this out I was informed this was my own fault bc I had not spesifically requested a babybed. When I asked whether something could be worked out, and indicated that I would willingly pay for this, there was no effort what so ever to be helpful. To add to this was this man so condenscending in his attitude when responding to any question, it was quite repulsive. The breakfast was fair. The cleaning was also sub par. The airconditioning did not work, so I had the choice of suffocating from heat or sleeping with an open window and the noise of Rome.. I tried both, neither worked - by morning I was exhausted. The location of the hotel is good, you are within walking distance of the colosseum and other sights. BUT, This is definitely NOT a four-star hotel, and the staff's attitude leaves one with a bad taste . I will never go back there, and would recommend people to stay away from this hotel!!

Two-three long blocks from Marconi metro station. Neighborhood is a little dead at night. Traffic noise keeps you up at night, so make sure you bring earplugs if you stay here. Front desk is helpful and trustworthy for advice on dining and transportation.

I thought this place was worth every penny! the staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the local area and the room conditions were immaculate. The A/C worked good we had a descent view and the bed was pretty comfy. it was a bit of a walk to the termini station and the underground but traffic wasn't as bad as other places so it didn't keep us up at night. ,I highly recommend this hotel!

I've stayed in worse...that's about the nicest thing I can say. The surrounding neighborhood is a dump, there was black mold all over our wall and AC vent, half the staff was friendly/half jerks. It was livable and we made it work, but it just wasn't quite as advertised. "A few feet" from the metra stop is actually a couple of blocks, which would be fine...if the stop wasn't closed for construction. Our window overlooked a lovely homeless gentleman that slept under the aqueduct every night. I wouldn't be as upset if it weren't for the cost...this was simply not worth the money - I could tolerate it more it were half the price. For this money, there has to be better....don't buy into the pics. Only use as a last resort.

An excellent boutique type hotel in a very convenient location only two metro stops from the Termini. Very warm and welcoming with extremely helpful and accomodating staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Superb breakfasts. Thoroughly recommended despite no cfofee making facilities and only Italian TV chanels in the bedroom

My husband and I booked a room here for the last night of our trip to celebrate our first anniversary. I loved the unique artwork and decor and the breakfast was wonderful. Our room was connected to another room by a door that didn't lock, which I didn't really like. Otherwise there is nothing that I really disliked about the hotel, other than the fact that we stayed in some apartment style hostels and other hostels with the same amenities for almost half the price. Next time I will skip the "hotel" and stick with private hostel rooms.

The room was a reasonable size for a european hotel. The location was not that great. Even it was about 5 blocks away from the metro station, it felt like an isolated area and after dawn we even had the sensation of being in an area not very safe.

Not a fancy or terribly nice hotel but decent. Our shower did not drain properly, the AC barely worked and the breakfast was the worst of all our hotels on vacation (3 weeks!) but the location was decent and the staff was very nice. You could probably do better in Rome, but there are so many to choose from, it's like a needle in a haystack...

has real charm about it, good location for Metro line A and you need to be able to walk good distances to take full advantage.

We chose this hotel because of it's location to the train station. We had only a 12 hour stop over and wanted an easy walk back and forth from the trains. It was about an 8 block walk. No real sites around the neighboorhood. Very nice staff, excellent breakfast, and close to a few restraunts. Would stay again for trains, but not for attractions unless you want to take the metro to everything.

The hotel was a little off the beaten path which was nice as it was quite. It is only 5 -10 min walk to the subway and has supermarkets nearby for cheap food and drinks. Small but clean and nice rooms with a great breakfast and very nice staff.

This is a beautiful hotel full of ecletic art work and furnighings. The staff was very friendly & helpful, the breakfast superb. My only complaint was the bed was hard. The room and bathroom were small up adequate size, the view onto the aqueduct great. I would stay there again.

Really loved this hotel, with its unusual art and vintage furniture. 15 minutes walk to the Colosseum and less to the wonderful San Clemente basilica. Excellent public transport and several excellent local restaurants. Our family room was actually two small, nicely-decorated rooms plus bathroom, with views of the aqueduct across the road and citrus trees in the garden below. There was some traffic noise, but not bad for Rome. Also, varied and plentiful breakfast. Would recommend.

This is not a large hotel by any means. And it's a bit off the beaten path. It's maybe a 12 minute walk from the coloseum. But the hotel itself is beautifully decorated and the staff is excellent. Andrea was quite helpful with restaurants, parking, and suggestions of places to visit. The breakfast was ample and the entryway was picture perfect. If/when we come back, our family will definitely stay here again.

Overall is was a nice hotel, the people there were really nice and helpful. Breakfast was good and the room and toilet was clean and good. . However I find the distant to the Metro a little to far, about 10mins walk. It's fine if you're not carrying any luggages but when we arrived in Rome we have to lug our luggages from the metro to the hotel (that was a tough journey).

This was our first stop in Italy and it was not a disappointment. It was close to the metro and the subway was easy to manuever. It was also an easy walk over to the Colisseum. It offered a good breakfast, had a friendly staf, and the internet had a fast speed. The lobby was lovely and gave a great first impression. The hotel did have some downfalls though. The television in the room had no channels in English. It also had two single beds pushed together that rolled apart whenever we moved around too much. These beds were also rock solid and were no good for my back. Also there was no information provided in the room regarding the hotel or the area.

Great hotel for a great price, if you don't mind to be a little out of the city centre. The hotel has a little courtyard and very nice breakfast.

When you arrive the lobby might seem a bit strange - weird decor and paintings. Reception very helpful. The lift seemed very old and we rather used the stairs! The room was clean and quiet. Flatscreen tv in the room didn't work properly. Aircon was nice. Breakfast was adequate - bread, cereal, fruit, yogurt, but nothing fancy. But enough to fill your stomach. It is too far to walk from Roma Termini, but the Metro and tram stop close by (tram is closer - you just have to figure out which one to take). Free internet in lobby. Overall we enjoyed our stay and I will recommend it to friends.

I stayed here with my mother, sister and boyfriend. We had 2 double rooms and both were very nice. The decorations of the hotel were eclectic and pleasing and breakfast was the best of any we had in Italy. There is a short walk from the metro which was no problem, and Im sure wouldnt be bad for anyone with large bags either because there were no stairs or anything to climb along the way. The staff was able to direct us to some nearby restaurants that werent in "tourist" areas, and were a lot cheaper than in the city center. There were busses within a couple of blocks that brought us to the catacombs, making all of the sights very accessible. The one problem for anyone with heavy luggage is that the elevator was broken and did not look like there were plans to repair it anytime soon. Otherwise, I would absolutely stay here again. Nice and quiet but still easy to get to everything!

This was a good location for walking to the major tourist sights and seeing central Rome (which actually we found a bit dissappointing!). The room was basic but accomodated three of us well, and the AC kept the summer head down. The staff all seemed to understand English and were very helpful. There is a comfortable seating area outside the hotel entrance and useful intenet access within the inside seating area. While we were there the lift was being renovated! Breakfast was OK, with bacon and scambled eggs being available if a little greasy!

Close to Churches not typically visited during a trip to Rome. Churches are very important in terms of Catholic History.

very good hotel good standard of cleanliness in both the hotel and room. very courteous staff excellent continental breakfast room was small but comfortable close to metro station for ease of travel

Nous avons passé 3 nuits à l'hôtel Aquaeductus où nous avions réservé une double chambre pour nous et nos enfants. Cet endroit a grandement participé à la qualité de notre séjour. Nous avons reçu un accueil très agréable et chaleureux. La maison est très belle, décorée avec goût et très propre. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et bon. Le seul inconvénient est le bruit extérieur. La circulation dans le quartier est assez soutenue et pour dormir les fenêtres ouvertes, ce n'est pas terrible. L'hôtel est bien situé : à 20 min à pied de la gare Termini et 30 min du Colisée.

Hotel bem localizado com estação do metro nos arredores ( 5 minutos a pé ). Ótimo café da manhã e recepção bastante cordial com disponibilidade para informações e sugestões.

Bruyant coté route et au niveau des autres salles de bains

The hotel was nice. Grate value for money. Good breakfast. The hotel is far away from any tourist atraction.
