This hotel was both good and bad. The good: extremely close to the metro station, and it's a short ride to most of the big tourist attractions. The lobby was nice, clean, well decorated and spacious. The bad: the hotel staff is not helpful or friendly. I understand cultural differences, but the hospitality industry is usually an exception. They were most certainly not helpful or polite. The hotel is a bit deceptive because the lobby is nice and modern, but the rooms themselves are outdated and small. Prague is a beautiful city - I would return, but to a different hotel.

"Convenient to Conference/Convention Center"

Overall, the hotel was convenient to my conference and a better value than the official conference hotel. My floor was non-smoking However, the hotel allowed smoking in the lobby and public areas. Free wifi was unreliable in the room but the lobby was too smoky to use wifi there. Staff did not seem experienced with U.S. business travelers but tried to be helpful. Two subway stops from city center.

The hotel was ok and excellent proximity to the tube so you can be in the city in a few minutes.
Breakfast was ordinary and luke warm where it should have been hot. The coffee machine produced disgusting coffee, and the waiter in the evening just looked as though he really didn't want to be there... so eat out... there are excellent restaurants and service in Prague itself.
The hotels.com website listed this hotel as having a pool and I should have checked on the hotels website first because they don't have one. There is a facility in a health club across the road, for an additional cost, but it is very small.
I would not have stayed here at all if I had known about the pool, but fortunately we had a great time in Prague despite this.

"Very good hotel for business"

I needed to attend a training in the area, and found Holiday Inn to be conveniently located just behind the Prague Congress Centre.
Plese note that this is at Vysehrad metro station, not Pankrac, as the map shows here.
The rooms have been renovated recently, friendly staff, enjoyed my stay here.

Very nice and comfortable hotel , located 2 stations from the center by underground .
Very clean and large room size.
The parking at the hotel garage price is 20 Eur a day .
We really liked it

Bra hotell med mycket trevlig, hjälpsam och kunnig personal. Förhållandevis små och enkla rum (vi hade två dubbelrum), men helt ok rent och fräscht. Rejäl frukostbuffé. Jättenära till T-banan och därför enkelt att snabbt och lätt ta sig till centrum.

ダウンタウンから離れているので、交通手段を懸念していましたが、地下鉄駅が近くにあり、この地下鉄は運行頻度が良く、切符の買い方も簡単、線路網も簡単で、容易に繁華街の各所へ行く事が出来ました。

Wenn ich nach Prag gehen würde ich es wieder nehem.
Liegt sehr zentral. Nur 100 Meter zur Metro.
