Ideally situated for Duvall Street. Near enough to walk but far enough away to miss any partygoer noise. Our room was tiny, but we did go for the cheapest option. It was clean and tidy and the bed was comfy. There were no tea or coffee facilities other than at breakfast. The bathroom was separated from the bedroom by a louvered door, so I would only recommend this room for people who were in a long term relationship, because you can hear ( and smell) everything that goes on in there !good choice of breakfast, pools were lovely and it was very peaceful.

Took the Key West Express and was pleasantly suprised to find the Westwinds very close to the terminal. It was also just a short walk to the downtown region of Key West. Everything was close at hand. The room was adequate and comfortable. The constant vibration of the a/c wall unit could either be a distraction or sleep aid depending on your level of annoyance. The staff was very friendly and helpful. All in all a wonderful place to stay. I would highly recommend.

Westwinds is a very nice place to stay in KW.I love the place and would stay there again no questions about it. The only thing I was very let down with was the Continental Breakfast, you would think after spending as much money as we did for the place the breakfast would have been better.The coffee was so bad I poured it out, The Honeydew melon they had have no sweetness or favor what so ever, the hard boil egg was raw in the middle and the egg white was so stuck to the shell I coundn't peel the shell off without wasteing half of the egg. All employees there were great. Just fix the CB and you've got a winner!

mattress needs to be replaced - it is sagging already. reception and breakfast service is excellent

Sadly we were disappointed from the moment we entered the lobby. We've stayed at b and b's so expected warmth and charm. Not here. Greeting was less than enthusiastic and room was average at best. We did not get room serviced one day which was a surprise. Breakfast is a cold buffet but get there before they run out of juice and fresh fruit. No yogurt offered at all. Bus the table yourself. Same pastries and breads everday. Pool nice. Quiet.

We were very pleasantly surprised to find the room very clean and well stocked and maintained. Although small, there was plenty of room for my 6'8" husband and I. The location is ideal as it is away from the noiser parts of Duval Street. The walk to Duval Street was pleasant and interesting and not too taxing. The staff was very nice. We will return when we are in Key West again.

Room was quaint but tiny- ok since our stay was only one night but would want something with more room for longer stays. Bed was comfortable. Make sure to check room size before booking. Also man who checked us in was less than friendly, as if our being there was a bother. We will try a different place next time.

Perfect location for a visit to Key West. Reasonably priced as Key West inns go. Clean and well maintained. Friendly attentive staff. Beautiful gardens surrounding 2 pools. Lounge area including a small library and kitchen. Coin operatored laundry. Towels were kind of thin and worn, but adequate. Window AC unit is a bit loud, but does the job. A little off the beaten path so it's quiet but within walking distance to all the sites of Old Town Key West.

Wonderfully tranquil setting with the complement of being within walking distance to Duval Street and Mallory Square. Hope to return for a longer stay in the future.

Booked Westwinds last minute, a short walk to the marina, 5 blocks to Duval St, nice secluded pool. Bed was comfy.

The staff were friendly and helpful. They made it better.

We stayed for 3 nights and its a great, quiet place to just relax. Its a little bit of a walk to Duval so we rented bicycles at Eaton bikes which is about a minute walk from the hotel. They also provide a free breakfast and it was great. Everything is fresh. They have bagels, toast, cereal, fresh fruit and amazing pastries!. We will definately stay here again!!

My husband and I enjoyed staying at the Westwinds during our first visit to Key West. We had a great upstairs room that was in a building almost all to ourselves (the inn is made up of several buildings). There were many interesting looking rooms there, and two little pools that are nice escapes from the heat. It was enough away from Duval St that it was quiet, but within about a 10 minute walk to the main action. The breakfast was fine and the service helpful. I loved the bed we had too. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and would likely stay there again on a future visit.

Perfect location, near the Fort Myers ferry and the main action of Key West. Would definitely stay here again.

I wanted to take a childhood friend of mine to Key West for a short visit. I had visited Key West several times but this was her first visit. I travel frequently both in US and internationally so I am an experienced traveler. I was primarily looking for a small B&B near Duval but would be far enough away that the Spring Breakers wouldn't keep us up all night. The hotel is really just a 5 minute walk from Duval & very near Mallory Square and so it suited us very well. (We ladies are both in our mid-fifties and felt very safe walking by ourselves at night back to our hotel since there are many people out and about in the side streets.) The hotel was very charming and had a small but nice private pool. Breakfast is lovely in the morning by the pool with the local newspaper available for free. If you are looking for a hotel with all the amenities, this is not the hotel for you. It is not near any public beaches but if you know anything about Key West, the beaches are not really why you go there (very, very small beaches). But if you are looking for a friendly hotel that reflects the charm of Key West than this is the ideal place. We had a first floor room with two twin beds, flat screen TV, dresser, small fridge and a updated, clean bathroom (the rooms are small so don’t expect much else). The overall hotel is very well kept and has a friendly staff. There is a laundry room (needs coins), vending machines (soda and water), a small lounge, changing area/shower with towels near pools and even a small but well stocked library. It was very well worth the trip. I would certainly go back again.

refer to check-in details. if one were to stay at the westwinds it would have to be good weather and the room should be as far from the front door as possible. Thebuffet breakfast is outside apart from a small area covered by a awning. The food is somewhat limited; most other guests I met on that drizzly morning treated the facilities as a bit of a joke. Because of the noise in my room and because of the manner of the reception staff - pretty uncaring about my plight - I felt I had no alternative but to pack up and find another hotel.

Nice quaint hotel close to the ferry dock and the harbor walk. Very good service received from the office staff. Room was small, but all that we needed! Very nice pool areas(one heated) and breakfast was light and plenty. We would stay there again.

Aamupala henkilökunta hyvää. vain yhdet pyyhkeet hotellihuoneessa, missä ne saa kuivaksi?

trés bonne impressions, nous avons été reçus très professionnellement, l'hôtel est très bien placé juste un peu éloigné du centre ce qui vous empêche d'avoir le tumulte de Duval Street et de ses alentours.les chambres sont propres du moins la notre et le petit déjeuner servi autour de la piscine est vraiment sympa.

Nice hotel quiet but central location good breakfast. Small room with very small bed. Next to library and kitchen with a locked door between it, so you woke up in the morning hearing breakfast beiing prepared. Nice pools and staff but a pitty we could not get breakfast earlier then 08.00 am. So we had to leave without it the second day. Pricy for what you get but that is in all of Key West.

Hotel trés correct au centre d'une zone commerciale. Parfait pour une étape.

Accueil très sympathique. Chambre devant l'hôtel, à côté de la réception, bruyant le matin (voitures sur la route et clients au check-out). Petit déjeuner satisfaisant avec des fruits! Chambre très bien décorée mais assez étroite, sdb très petite. Lit 190x140cm.
