Hilton Sorrento Palace - سورينتو

This was my third time in Sorrento, if you have kids with you , this is the place to stay , the only nice thing about this hotel is the pool and the breakfast . Very unfriendly staff with no feeling of being in Italy, i will never stay here again!!!!

This hotel is close to downtown square in Sorrento. It was quiet, clean, the most beautiful swimming pools indoor and outdoor I have ever seen. Great food and wines ( you can get a whole bottle of wine for the same price as two glasses). Staff are friendly and lobby is beautiful and the view of the sea and coast is breathtaking. Only one flaw - the rooster nearby likes to wake people up at 5:00 in the morning. Suggest a room facing the pool side to avoid this rather than the cliff side. Otherwise wonderful experience.

we were 4 adults & we all thought that this hotel was very nice & the view from the breakfast room was wow would have stayed a few more nights but our schedule did not permit it.

Nice, sizeable, well maintained and clean hotel. Don't be mislead by other reviews, its a prompt 10 minute walk back from the main square, 15 minutes if you're talking your time. To either harbour, double those times. We thought the location was great to escape the busy centre. Lovely large and clean swimming pool. Plenty of sun-loungers. loses the sun in some areas late afternoon (sept) but that obviously depends on the time of the year. its a family hotel - there were a number of kids running around. there were also a number of infants (0-3 years old) who were somewhat noisy. Bedrooms were of a decent size and were well presented, possibly could do with a paint job. significant downside was noise from the corridors - you could hear everything happening immediately outside your door throughout the day and night. the sounds of children crying also carried wide and far. reception very helpful. a good hotel.

Great hotel, with beautiful bar and lobby area with views worth a few hours there with a drunk. Rooms large and clean and modern (other than the old small tv but who really needs a tv). Great breakfast range with everything you would expect at this level of hotel. The outdoor pools are not the infinity which is on the exec deck, but they are still great with views over the bay and gardens. Would go back and even the walk in to town is only 5 mins.

need to take bus to central especially in summer time, but the bus never come on time. One of the receptionist is rude, i think his name is Giu....something. Very dissatisfied for his service consider is Hilton hotel

I would definitely recommend the Hilton Sorrento Palace to my friends if they choose to visit Sorrento. Located only 10 minutes walking distance from the center, in the quiet and peaceful area with a wonderful overview of the city.

Had a very pleasant stay. A triple family room was VERY spacious. Room was clean, but TV was dated. During our 12 night stay we noticed they could of improved on the cleanliness of the breakfast function room. The staff could not keep up the demand of breakfast quantities and was regularly running out of food. Pool was sensational, and perfect for families. Kids club is a god sent for parents!! An overall spacious hotel with friendly staff members. Its about a 7 minute walk into town centre. We also got the hotel to organise our transport from the airport to the hotel and would highly recommend this as this was very helpful with a toddler.

This hotel is in a great location, it seems far but it's a nice 10 minute walk to the city center. The pool was amazing, however, they close it around 6 pm, which makes no sense as that's when we usualy returned back to the hotel after the day of adventures. The pool workers were nice and let us stay longer but then you feel like you need favors. The breakfast was great (such a variety that we did not need lunch until late afternoon). Internet is super expensive so I would recommend using it downtown (some of the bars offer free laptops). The rooms were very specious (nice comparison with the rest of Italy). This hotel offers a great day trip to Capri. It's 70 euro, private boat with about 10-15 people. I have to say that this trip was worth every cent and more. The boat staff was amazing, views unforgetable and great swimming in the middle of nowhere.

We stayed at the Hilton because we wanted a hotel with a swimming pool, many of the hotels in Sorrento are small and don't offer this. The hotel is set up the hill from the town but it only take 10 minutes to walk down to the town. The hotel swimming pool, breakfast terrance and bar terrace have beautiful views over the sea and coast line. This is a good hotel with friendly staff a very good breakfast and rooms of a standard that you would expect from a Hilton.

The Sorrento Palace was the perfect spot for us to end our tour of Italy. We traveled with a 5-year old who loves to swim and really enjoyed the fantastic pool area. After a couple of weeks of smaller, more intimate Italian hotels (which we loved), we were ready to relax by the pool for a few days in a larger, kid-friendly environment, while our son enjoyed the Kids Club activities and other facilities that the hotel offered. We were there over a pretty busy weekend, when a conference was going on, so the pool got quite busy later in the day and breakfast got pretty hectic. The lines for waffles, omelettes & crepes were pretty long, but I have to say that the woman staffing the waffle station (Rosella) was really a wonder woman who was friendly and great at her job, despite the lack of help and long lines! (Rosella deserves a raise!). The front desk staff, doormen and Kids Club staff were also extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms (we saw 2 of them) were a nice size and very comfortable. I would say pay the little extra (if you can) for an ocean view, as you will get spectacular views of the ocean, mountains and Mount Vesuvius. The hotel was on a hill, so had great views of the ocean, Bay of Naples, etc. and was only about 25 minutes drive to the beautiful town of Positano (I highly recommend a drive there - again, try to avoid a weekend as it was very busy). It was a 5-7 minute walk from the hotel downhill into the old town center of Sorrento, which wasn't bad at all. At first the staff recommended we take the bus back up the hill, but if you are able-bodied and don't mind a brisk walk, the walk back up to the hotel really wasn't that bad - 10 minutes or so - and we did it each night pushing a stroller up hill! Breakfast was included with our room rate and was a large buffet with lots of selection (much better on a weekday without the lines!). I enjoyed staying at the Hilton. The atmosphere was a little on the gaudy side, but it was appropriate for the vacationing feeling. The pool was a decent size. The breakfast buffet was huge, but so were the number of people there. There was a long line for the freshly made waffles, pancakes and eggs and only one person cooking them. The distance from the hotel to the tourist area was a walk including a hill, but it was a enjoyable one.

This is a Hilton and they do it right like most Hilton experiences and the view is breath-taking, the comfort legendary, and the food and service first-rate. It is also within walking distance of the trains and bus service, but a hike to the harbor area would be, well, a hike. Not out of the question, but you would need to like to walk. That being said, we found walking to be the way to see the local scene such as the boccie club and some back street food that might be missed. We found the Hilton to be a comfortable, if not a totally Italian experience.

No expense spared at this hotel, absolutely beautiful, couldn't have asked for more, stunning scenery, immaculate cleanliness and staff definitely went the extra mile to please - nothing was any trouble for them.

This is a five star in our books!Outsatnding service, hotel and location. The staff was over the top in their help, finding restaurants, and answering questions. It is obvious that they have been well trained and are so profesional. The breakfast included in the price was excellent and the view of the Mediterranean and Mt Vesuvius were beautiful!

By far the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Location is really very close to Sorrento train and bus station. This is very important because of two reasons. First, taxi fair is very high in Sorrento. A hotel close to station means you save lot of money in case you need to take taxi. Second, all the connecting buses of SITA linking Sorrento to Amlfi and Positano are extremely close. Third, the hotel is very close to beautiful city square. We never required the shuttle service of hotel to reach city square. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. They provide exact information about places of interest. Interiors of hotel are delightful. Both the pools are tempting. Rooms are well maintained and spacious. Toilets are shining and clean. We were treated to best omlettes and pancakes in breakfast with an amazing view of Mount Visuvious and Bay. It was difficult to decide which was better - the view or the breakfast.

Just got standard room which was fine, very nice balcony. Typical Europeon hotel where they push beds together, thought being a Hilton that they would have ONE bed available when requested. Hotel appeared to have a VERY CHEAP remodel, maybe Hilton bought from another entity. Doors were paper thin and you could hear EVERYTHING going on in the halls, doors shutting etc.

There is nothing bad We could say about this hotel...it was a very positive experience.

This was a lovely hotel, about 15 mins walk (on a hill) from the main street in Sorrento so bring comfortable walking shoes. The staff were not overly helpful, but polite. Unfortunately, there were lots of hidden charges - for television basic channels, wifi, etc. The breakfast was very good though, with beautiful views of the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius as the backdrop. We also really enjoyed the pool facilities. Overall I would recommend it, though I haven't stayed in any other Sorrento hotels.

Nice and quiet hotel, fantastic place to bring children.

Local restaurants, despite how "scary" they may seem by walking through the local neightborhood offer exquisite seafood and pasta well beyond anything you might expect. Locals are friendly and helpful. Desserts at the local convenience store are a must.

Had a really enjoyable stay here, breakfast, room and pool lovely. The walk to town is about 10/12 min downhill, uphill on the way back..

L'albergo ci ha riservato una pessima accoglienza, in quanto non ha rispettato la categoria di camera prenotata presso hotels.com. Nonostante le nostre insistenze e dopo una prolungata attesa ci hanno trasferito in camere qualitativamente inferiori allo standard da noi pagato.Il che denota poca serietà.Solo grazie al pronto intervento e assistenza di hotels.com da noi reclamato, siamo riusciti a sistemarci nelle camere da noi prenotate e pagate.Per il resto salvo questo spiacevole inconveniente, il soggiorno è stato positivo e l'albergo gode di un buon standard qualitativo.

Bra läge med utsikt över havet. Mycket bra swimmingpool för alla kategorier. Saknade service med shuttle bus.

Moderne hotell, beliggende i gåavstand fra sentrum. Flott bassengområde, og restaurant/cafe område. Vennlig service, store rom (vi bestilte et dobbeltrom med king size seng). Vi var veldig fornøyde med vårt opphold.

el hotel es muy bueno, pero tuve la dificultad de abrir la puerta del dormitorio, accionaba la tarjeta pero no abria, tenia que golpearla muy fuerte varias veces. deben hacer mantenimiento continuo.

Fint værelse, men sørg for at få et plus værelse, ellers ser du ikke på havet og Vesu, men direkte ind i en klippevæg ! Glimrende morgenmadsbuffet. Hold dig fra internet, det er helt extremt dyrt. Hold dig til happy hour, ellers er barpriserne for høje.

Fine rom med terrasse i et åpent luftig og vakkert hotell med utsikt over Napolibukten. Vi hadde rom som vendte mot fjellside ved hotellets inngangsparti men vil anbefale å få rom med utsikt mot Napolibukten. Hotellet hadde avtale med et hotell ved havkanten hvor en kunne benytte deres pir om man ønsket å bade i havet. Å bade fra den piren kan anbefales. Ca en times biltur for å komme seg til Pompei, Napoli eller andre retningen langs Amalfitankysten,
