There were no non smoking rooms available so the hallway smelled horrible. The room was fairly clean but they don't vacuum under the bed so that should let you know how much effort they put into cleaning. Other guests got into a fight at three a.m. on the first night and then came in late the second night arguing and slamming doors....not a pleasant stay at all and will not stay here ever again. Don't be fooled by the fact that its in a good area!

I was very surprised by the lack of amenities in this hotel -- no shampoo, blow dryer, etc. -- and the room was dirty. There were hairs in the bathroom and unwashed silverware in the kitchenette. The so-called breakfast consisted of bad coffee, nasty-looking fruit, and prepackaged muffinettes. I would not return to this hotel or recommend it to anyone else.

This was the 2nd time I stayed here and I was pleased again! Staff was very, very friendly (as always). Room was very clean & comfortable. Had a couple of loud (apparently intoxicated) men being loud in the hall & slamming doors but eventually it quieted down. But overall, very satisfied & look forward to stays in the future!!

The room had an odd odor and we found dirty socks in the room. The kitchen was dirty as well.

i checked in late after driving up from new orleans, there was no one to let me in the door. i had to call the corporate office 1-800 number and then they had to call the front desk to let me in. i was literally standing outside wit hmy bags for 15 minutes at midnight waiting for someone to open the locked doors. pretty bad for business in my opinion. if you are looking for service, this is def not the place. nice clean rooms though. great location if you are attending LSU events

Cleanliest carpet Ive even seen. Bed was comfortable, food was walking distance.

I stayed the 8-10. The comfort was good but they did clean my room while I was out that day. I came back to the same looking room no new towels everything wasn't cleaned up. It was a let down when I returned to your hotel. If that's need was met then I would have had an outstanding stay at your hotel...

The halls smelled bad. The service was a bit inconvenient but the staff was polite.

People were in our room at least three times when we were out, stuff was moved one time a light was on, when we came back one afternoon, the TV was on. The desk clerk refused to call security because "nothing was taken". Also, there were no sheets on the bed when we checked in, the coffee maker had the grinds and dirt from the previous guest...the desk staff were great until you need ed help then you got "The Attitude".

I luv everything about thd hotel expect the smell of the hallways. The smoke smell is withim them Other then worth the money

Location was okay and lobby looked recently renovated but this was the dirtiest hotel room I've ever seen. Shower and toilet had quite obviously not been cleaned after previous guest and the smell of cigarette smoke in room was unbearable. Had to leave window open and leave my clothes zipped tightly in suitcase for fear they would absorb room smell. Bedding was old and uncomfortable too. The room rate seemed great for the location and now I see why. I would definitely pay more for a different place.

The room space is big, full kitchen & some basic dining equipment (like cups, plates, fork & spoons, etc.)makes it easy to cook & eat. However I don't like to cook in an open kitchen to avoid my clothes get the smell. Also they don't offer breakfast, but I found a walmart nearby to get some food, which is cool. BTW they don't provide amenities other than towels & 2 soaps (they don't even provide plastic cups), no shampoos, no toothpaste. So you better prepare it ahead.

nice hotel but could not sleep because of little child on the 3rd floor running around.will request 3rd level next time.thanks.

The hotel was ok. It served its purpose, was clean, in a good neighborhood, close to where I needed to be and had a small kitchenette, which was a big help. i would stay there again and recommend it to others.

This walls and floors are not very sound proof and the person staying above us was walking and banging things all night! We called the front desk at midnight and was told there was nothing they could do! On top of this the bed was uncomfortable, the room was dirty, the hallways smelled of rotting trash, and the carpets were stained. Do not stay at this hotel!

I was disappointed in the customer service or lack of it. It was difficult to find someone at the desk. The room had few amenities- a small kitchen, but nothing to wash the dishes with; made me wonder what previous patrons used to clean the dishes I was to use. Front desk did not even have a can opener or cork screw to borrow. The place has possibilities and it would take very little to improve it- but..............

This facility is not clean, not even near clean. I would not recommend unless your a working road warrior. I have stayed at other ESA Hotels and enjoyed my stay. This was not one of them.

Was in town one night and needed a place with a refrigerator. All I can say is; thank goodness it was only one night. The hotel STINKS. It smells of smoke and funk! The carpet needs replacing and the walls need painting. Needs a major overhaul. I wouldn't stay here again.........ever!

While this hotel was convenient don't expect non-smoking rooms. They have many workers staying here and they all seem to smoke outside the building, in the smoking rooms, etc, so it smells like smoke everywhere. The beds are also uncomfortable so more than one night would be hard.

The hotel was good for the price. I was in town for two days and the room was very well maintained. The halls smelled awful, but once you got in the room it smelled fine. The desk people were very nice. Couldn't tell you about a cleaning crew, because I didn't see any. All in all a nice place for the price you pay.

It is a basic room and for the price adequate. Showing some wear and tear from customer abuse and need to be updated and remodeled.

HORRIBLE!!!! This is the worst hotel I have ever been in. Front Desk is NOT 24/7..you get a answering service. The bed is uncomfortable, the pillows are flat, the TV is about 16 inches. There is no breakfast. Every employee is rude. The room stunk so bad we left. There is NO customer service or satisfaction at all there. Do not waste your time or money.

Once again, I cannot stress enough this is probably the best unknown deal in Baton Rouge. Its no that expensive and its clean. There is a Kitchenette in the room, and yes there are only 2 forks knives and spoons, a fryin pan , and pot. But noone can expect for the price to have every pot, pan, and utensil furnished. The stove is a 2 burner stove and both times I was there is worked great, there is also an Albertsons Supermarket about 1 mile away on College Ave. If you are looking for an inexpensive clean, safe place to stay, I am telling you this is the place.

Historiallinen hotelli lähellä keskeisiä nähtävyyksia ja musiikkibaareja. Huoneen sisustus oli aivan viimeisen päälle ja huone oli korkea sekä todella viihtyisä. Netti toimi hyvin. Hyvä sänky ja suihku. Palvelu oli erinomaista. Hotellin kahvilan aamiaisvalikoima oli monipuolinen. Aula oli juhlallisesti koristeltu ja hotellin historia tuli esille hyvin. Olimme siellä kaksi yötä ja lähdimme pois haikeutta tuntien. Valet parking -palvelun henkilökunta oli kohteliasta.
