Excellent. Hotel location 2 min walk to centre of Malaga and a few minutes to all sites, e. g. Cathedral, Castle, Museums. Hotel's roof terrace, bar and small pool 1st class for a few hours relaxation. Bars and restuarants all located in the Old Town, just a few minutes walk. All round, great value for money. Was with a party of 8 guys (in our 50s/60s), all had great time and even agreed that all would use the hotel again...and even take our partners.

With public parking located across the street and immediate access to the walking streets of Malaga, this hotel was a great find for us - 2 Americans vacationing in Spain. We drove a rental car into the city from Granada and had no problem finding the hotel with the help of GPS. The location was great.

Good Hotel, however with different room qualities, worth the price.

hotel great but nightmare to find if driving. Would recommend leaving car outside malaga and taking public transport in. drove around for 2 hours looking for it very stressful . couldnt fault hotel although didnt eat there. Had a superior room all excellant bathroom massive

Wanting a reasonable priced hotel, conveniently located for exploring the old town, I was not dissapointed. It was everything we needed and more.

Good location near old city and shopping. Parking was easy in hotels parking area - locked and TV monitored. Clean room and very kind and helpful staff.

Great hotel great location. Walking distance to all the major sights. Paid parking nearby. Reception staff gave us excellent directions.

It is central. Not easy to fine, just keep looking for the center river. ( Only during rainy season) Parking is 21euros in a secure hotel lot.

Malaga Centro Hotel is located within a five minute walk from the old section of Malaga; a wonderful place containing numerous restaurants, major sights and great ambiance. We were able to walk everywhere, including to the train and bus stations so we could travel to nearby towns along the coast. The room is a bit small, but it is adequate and very clean, comfortable and quiet. Service is good and the girls at the desk were extremely helpful when we asked for directions on how to get to various places. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of food options. The pool area on the 6th floor is small, but very adequate and comfortable to "chill out" after a day of sightseeing. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are interested in seeing the old section of Malaga as well as touring around some of the coastal towns. The price is very reasonable also.

Good location, nice staff, big bathroom, nice room. Roof terrace is amazing.

While this hotel is not on the beach as advertised it is nonetheless immaculate, friendly staff and very close to central Malaga. If you can get a good price for breakfast with the room that would be the way to go otherwise it will cost you 12 euro s more

Turn left as you leave the hotel and within two minutes you are in the lovely paved historic quarter. Hotel is lovely with a good buffet breakfast. The roof top pool more for a cooling off than a swim but a nice area to relax with a bar also serving coffee. Highly recommended for it's location and cleanliness.

hotel was fairly convenient to town. room was not great as smelt and looked onto covered firescape but bathroom was huge and as we were only there a few days and didn't spend much time in room didn;t request a change. rooftop bar and pool very nice. we went to pool in afternoons after about 4:30 and seeing all sites in town - still very hot even in Sept. not too many loungers but this appears to be time others who may have been there all day are leaving. had to wait one day but happy to sit in shade in comfortable chairs in bar area. drinks cheap and view of town, esp in evening great. Breakfast not included but to the right and behind of hotel there is a small cafe/panaderia. we got 2 coffees and sandwiches for less than 4€

Slightly older style hotel but not in a bad way. Had great rooftop bar and pool area although as you would expect in a City Centre location the pool was quite small and you need to be there quite early for a sunbed. Breakfast was good and included in our rate, has lunch one day at the pool bar which was also nice and good value for money. Location is excellent, 5 mins walk to the edge of the shopping area, 10 mins to train and a nice half hour stroll to the beach.

Overall, happy with the facilities and the location and, in particular, the pool area even though the pool was very small. The service received from the reception staff was verging on rude. Initially, we were placed in a standard room despite having booked a superior room. It was only when we rang reception and queried our room that they admitted their mistake and moved us. The staff did not apologise or offer any explanation and, in fact, appeared to find it very amusing. This was the general experience from the reception staff. This was not service expected from a 4 star hotel and made our stay quite uncomfortable. Such a shame as the hotel has a lot to offer.

Excellent hotel within 10 minute walk to city centre. Staff friendly and helpful and indeed i was extremely thankful to member of staff who found my wallet and returned to me after I had departed hotel in taxi. Would recommend for hotel for short visit

Easy walking to city centre, good standard of accommodation and really pleasant staff at reception, the pool bar and the restaurant. Would certainly use it again

We were there on our way to Morocco. Stayed for one night all was good except weak wifi signal.

everything was great,but the size of the pool on the roof is tiny

Great rooftop pool and lounge. Staff at front desk were not very helpful. We asked them to arrange tours for us and they sent us to a travel agency.

Have stayed here twice now and have been very pleased with the hotel on both occasions. Like all hotels, you are at the mercy of other guests but because of the location, the late night drinkers are few and far between. Location is just far enough out of the way to be quiet but still close enough to Plaza de la Construction and if you want to get to the beach then a short bus ride will get you there. Afraid I can't comment on food as I never ate there. The number of restaurants and Tapas bars nearby made it more enticing to go out and eat. Would recomend spending just a bit more cash for a superior room as standard rooms can be a bit small and dark.

My famiy recently stayed in this hotel for a night. This hotel is in a good location for visiting Malaga and is very close to the old section. The hotel is on a two way street so it is easily accessible, plus there is a parking garage close by, around the block. This property was fairly new and modern, with good to decent amenities. Also the front desk staff was very helpful. The top floor terrace and bar had great views of the ocean and the city. The pool and gym are small though. The bathrooms were spacious, however my morning shower was tepid in temerature while my roomates was hot-don't know why. The shower for my wife and daughtesr was not very hot and when she complained the front desk gave us free breakfast. I would definately recommend this hotel and it is in a great location for touring around Malaga city. Finally the hotel was any easy 15 to 20 minute drive from the airport--FYI--if you are americian and driving a rent a car in the south of spain or in any part of europe for that matter, I strongly recommend paying extra for the GPS.

Home from home. Great location, comfy rooms especially the superior ones. Friendly staff and fair prices.Nip round the corner to the Ibis for their breakfast buffet, dining room much lighter and cheaper.Would always go back there.

If you can get this hotel for a good price it is definitely worth it. The rooftop pool area is lovely for sunbathing (although the pool didn't look particularly clean while we were there). The room itself was nice and of a good size. Location wise it's less than 10 minutes walk to any of the good spots in Malaga City. The nice reccommended restaurants are nearby and the entertainment areas are in the other direction for another 10 mins. There is also great shopping nearby too.

Hotel is not of 4 star quality, staff were not helpful and did deliver a service of good quality. Booked a double room and got a twin room, when queistioned with the hotel they said there was nothing they could do. We were moved on the second day of the trip and the air conditioning was turned of that night, when maintenance came up to check, his suggestion was open the window,we had to move rooms in the middle of the night as the room was unbarable. The second room was not much better. Breakfast at €12 a head was not worth, the first morning they ran out of hot food.

Very good location for old town, about a 15 minute walk to train/bus station. Very good standards, great roof top pool and bar, efficient service, but very small room - nothing like the pictures here in size or decor!

My husband had stayed in this hotel before and said it was good value and quite central also. On arrival the staff in reception were very pleasant and helpful. My only complaint was that the room was absolutely tiny. In fact the bathroom was practically the same size as the sleeping area. My husband conceded that his room on a previous visit was much more spacious. As we were only staying 1 night, I decided not to let dampen my experience. However if I were staying for a number of days it would be clausterphobic as you could barely move around the bed. The breakfast was very good and overall this hotel is a good place to stay in a convenient location. The only negative was the small bedroom.

Hotel was a 5 min walk in to center of Malaga. Rooms where of a Spanish decor, we had a room at front of hotel 5 th floor quiet with the windows closed and the air conditioning worked quietly. Roof top pool area was a great retreat in the afternoon with great views of the city . They are in the process of building a new bar area with furnishings by pool .

We chose the Malaga Centro not knowing the area at all, but on the basis that it's not far from the airport. The very helpful receptionist gave us a map and showed us where to find good restaurants, beaches, museums etc. All were within easy walking distance.

The hotel is on the outskirts of the tourist "old" town area of Malaga. The river has no water in it. I enjoy walking and loved the location of the hotel but I would not recommend it to older people who do not walk much. The hotel bar is not staffed properly, if you order a drink and are served, pay right away even if you plan on having another one. The pool is small and the front desk has towels but there are not a lot of lounge chairs so get there early. The room as nice and comfy.
