Fiddlers Inn - ناشفيل

The front office is like prison counters you see on movie, they wont open the door will talk thru a window. The place is right behind bars and pubs with lots of shady business. Never ever stay here with family. Place reaks of smoke in NON-SMOKING rooms. Only good part it's right on the other side of Oprylands if you plan to visit that place.

OK, we always stay at low end hotels when we travel, so I didn't go into this with high expectations. First, the pros, The hotel has a great location for checking out the Opryland, and Music Valley area. Our room was as clean as you'd expect in this kind hotel. There is plenty of room to park. Now the cons, aside from the very neat lobby, the place is a dump. It's three large, unconnected buildings, so going to and from the lobby means a long walk over an uneven, rough parking lot. Our bed was rock hard and the pillows were flattened out and lumpy. There was no refridgerator. The shower was either hot or cold, no in between. Anyone who says this place is quiet never stayed on a weekend. The bar across the parking lot was blarring live music until at least 2am, loudly enough that I could plainly hear it through the closed door and window.

We had a very nice stay. Although the room details said it had refrigerator, and didn't, it was great. Rooms were quiet and comfortable and conveniently located to the things we wanted to see.Thanks very much for your interest.

Facility too old to ever say there again. Breakfast (HA!)gets served in different rooms daily. sliced bread, toaster, coffee, bagels, juice!! Our room outside handle was hanging off the door but they showed us how to lift it up & push it back into the hole to open door.

The blankets on the bed looked as if they haven't been washed in along time. The bathroom wasn't as clean as it should have been.

This hotel was very close to many Nashville attractions but needs to be updated and cleaned. It was very noisy and the bed was very uncomfortable. I didn't even want to walk on the floor without my shoes. I didn't even attempt the shower. I figured I was already cleaner than it.

Very tired, blankets were so dirty and old we took them off the bed and made do without. Thin walls and low grade construction made it very noisy. We could hear the voices in the neighboring room . Garbage trucks outside, etc. better than sleeping in the car but not by much.

We weren't expecting an extravagant hotel, as we got our room pretty cheap. We were right next to the Opryland Hotel, it was in a very convenient location right off the interstate. There were several restaurants within walking distance. There was an elevator even to get to each floor which is unusual for a cheap hotel like this. The front desk receptionist was very friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend if looking for a cheap place to stay the night, will stay here again when in the area.

Breakfast is served in not a good healthy way. Everything is setting out in the open

Average hotel but good location.

These were seriously the hardest beds I have ever come across. The hotel staff was very nice but the rooms were pretty crappy. Only one light in our room worked other than the bathroom. The bathroom door did not lock, and the first time we turned on the water to shower it ran orange for about 5 minutes before clearing up.

Old and creepy

During my visit to Nashville, TN I was not looking for luxury. I needed a cheap place to stay while a convention was going on at the Gaylord resort (which I could not afford) The Fiddler's Inn was really close, about a 10 minute walk, the entire walk to the convention center had side walks and was well lit. The hotel was a very basic room. It had standard beds, a working shower/sink/HVAC unit/TV/coffee pot. There was absolute nothing special about it and the rooms seemed a little outdated. But they were clean and I felt completely safe in the hotel. The hotel had a complimentary breakfast, which also basic, toast, muffins, microwave oatmeal, OJ, coffee, nothing to write home about, but fine. Were I to go back to a convention at Nashville on a budget, I would consider staying at Fiddler's Inn again.

could do with up dateing speacily the bathrooms. the location was fine as you had a bus serives and tommy tour buses

The hotel is in a convenient loctaion, rooms are clean but the rooms AC/Heat and water temperature is not controllable. Temperatures go from extremely hot to extremely cold without moving a knob.

The hotel was adequate but the harvest gold tub and sink were very old. The room was clean, but becoming delapadated. I'd stay again for one night - but would not stay here for an extended stay.

Was close to Opryland Hotel and a lot of good restaurants/lounges..

You get what you pay for. The room was basic but clean, the location was good for the conference that I was attending at the real hotel. The break was a joke. wheat bread nasty muffins and oatmeal packets. Overall I would go, without my wife and kids.

I thought the hotel was a good value for the price. The best feature was it proximity to Opryland.

Everything was situated around me while visiting Nashville to attend the Grand Ole Opry. And to my surprise they even shuttled me over to a front door drop off and pick up. We were there long before the doors opened and I checked in early which was convient for such a long road trip. the bed was huge the room decorated nicely and very comfortable. I had a little trouble getting the water to adjust in the shower but it did eventually cooperate. In addition the toilet did not work properly to the extent that I had to remove the lid from the back of the toilet to flush it. If I had no idea of the workings of a toilet I might have needed to be moved. But I was close to the coke and ice machine. My car was parked just outside my window and I probably didn't have but maybe five to ten steps to go into the front door of the hotel. I went to bed early and got up early. The breakfast was donuts and coffee, but with a cracker barrel closer to my front door than the lobby of the hotel, a shoneys within eye sight and walking distance as was a Bob Evans right around the corner I opted for the breakfast buffet at one of those restaurants instead. The hotel had a gift shop with a large selection, and offered alot of ideas for entertainment. Like a midnight jamboree and all day music in an adjacent parking lot and right outside my door. In addition they offered to call a sight seeing tour bus that offered discount rates for touring the homes of the stars. But there was a tour guiding sightseeing bus stop with a large selection of different package bus tours. I was less than a half a mile from the Grand Ole Opry, and the wax museum of country western stars. My sister would have been estatic about the Ernest Tubb record store, close by and within eyesight upon arrival. All and all I loved the stay and would stay there again.

The room was clean but sorely in need of updating. The mattress on the bed was so hard it was like sleeping on the floor. The water controls in the shower were backwards or not as they should be and the hot water was sporadic as if any time someone in the building turned their water on, our hot water disappeared. The hotel is ok at best, cheapest in the area but truly needs to be updated.

The hotel was clean & comfortable there was noise outside was a little noticable buses & cars but they were friendly & helpful.We would stay there again. The agent on Hotels.com the second time I contacted them was very helpful.

Good budget hotel within walking distance from the Grand Ole Opry. Avoid any of the local food, especially the catfish restaurant recommended by the hotel

The location was good. The hotel could do with some updating but was clean enough. The breakfasts were not up to expectations. They offered hot cereals but there was no milk for them and no cream or milk for coffee/tea.....only Coffeemate. No fruit was offered. Mid-week breakfasts served in a very small area of the lobby where you check in - 3 people in there and it was crowded. The water temperature in the shower changed back and forth from cold to very hot, making it almost impossible to shower without getting scalded..

I chose this motel because of its convenient location across the road from the Opryland Resort where I was attending a conference. Since I was trying to economize on lodging (as a state employee not getting reimbursed for such expenses) I booked a room for less than half the cost of the main conference hotel. The beds were comfortable and the cleaning staff was diligent. The front desk was business-like and efficient. I would recommend this motel to those who need a comfortable, unelaborate accommodations within easy walking distance to the Opryland Resort complex.

Old, but close to entertainment. very over priced!!!

The motel is a older motel, maintained relative well, 1 mile from Grand Ole Opry, Grayline tours right behind the hotel, resturants all around. Cracker Barrel right across the parking lot. Easy access to main hwys.The price was right too. It took 45 min. for our toilet bowl to fill. We addressed it to the office and it was fixed when we got back from our tour in 3 hours. I would diffentely stay there again and would reccommend it to a friend.

Room clean, staff very friendly and cooperative, always trying to help with any needs you would have. Great location to our convention and resturants.

This hotel is a stay away from. The elevator has heat going in the summer, 90 outside, 120 in the elevator. The continental breakfast is in the storage room with 1 small table that fits 2 people only, the donuts they served were frozen and the very cheap 40 pack from some discount place. No milk, the juice is all watered down. The only ice machine is on the first floor, in a dim lit hallway outside,and you must travel up and down the elevator for the ice, if you are on any floor but the first. The parking lot is shared with the small mall there and the tour bus office. My wife is all bit up from the room, she says it was bed bugs. We went down to the lobby 1 evening and the woman behind the counter was conducting a class on how to beat the social security sustem and medicare.

Had a pleasant stay at Fiddlers Inn. Convenient location. Opryland was right across the street and a Cracker Barrel was next door. We did not try the breakfast at hotel. We had a problem with our shower, but the staff fixed the problem quickly. Staff was very friendly. It would be great if a small refrigerator was in the room. We were pleased with the rate.

A dump and I got bitten by bugs. Very overdue for a rebuild.

Right down the road from the Opry, our focus point for the trip. A couple bars very close but the late night music did not keep us up at night like I had feared. Staff was friendly, espcially the nice cleaning lady. Beds are not comfortable, old and hard.

The carpets were not clean, the bathroom and sinks were stained. The walls had been damaged and poorly repaired- one place with Duct tape and then painted over. The TV remote was Duct taped together. All in a very poor experience for the money.
