We picked the Kimberly because we wanted mid town, East side. Good move that. We got what we wanted and more. Nice all around hotel . The best part were the doormen. Great bunch of guys. Helpful, friendly and easy to engage in light conversation coming and going. Oh, and I should add that the rooms were clean and really nice size. Would stay here again, for sure.

First time in New York I have had many wonderful views in my travels but never one quite like this

The staff was friendly,efficient,and very helpful. The room was charming, nicely decorated, but my husband and I prefer a much firmer bed. My only complaint was that the rooms were over heated. Luckily, our room had a door that opened to an outdoor porch, so we could get cool air from outside into the room, but without that access, we would have been very uncomfortable.

Great Location, Room was very nice, clean and spacious. Staff was pleasant.

My wife and I had a very enjoyable stay. The room was large and comfortable, and the staff was outstanding. We will definitely plan to stay at the Kimberly when we return to NYC. There were only two things that should be mentioned, and that need improvement: 1) The climate control in the living room and bedroom were difficult to manage and the room as somewhat warm, even when the temp was turned all the way down. 2) the water pressure could use a boost. We loved everything else!

We really enjoyed this hotel. The location was perfect, the staff was very friendly! We will stay there on our next trip without any doubt.

I booked this hotel as it was on offer. The room & hotel was good, clean and near a Metro Station. I did email the hotel prior to coming over a request which they didn't reply to (or carry out request) as I was told 'because you got the room cheap' and view out of the room was of air con units and the back of a building. The gym & pool are 2 blocks away so not convenient if you want a quick dip. We didn't eat at the hotel but there was a great place for breakfast next door.

Great people, great place and great location. Dog friendly as well which adds to the friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

My daughter and I just returned from a 5 day visit to Manhattan and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The Kimberly was the perfect hotel and we looked forward to coming back to our room after a full day of sightseeing. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Friendly staff, clean room, and great features in the room.

We had a wonderful stay at the Kimberly. The room was beautiful, spacious and very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again!

A beautiful place and a great value. We got a luxury king suite for the same price as other places were charging for a standard room--perfect for our family of 2 adults and one small child. The suite was gorgeous, in perfect condition like it had just been painted the day before, huge comfy king bed (with massager!), big luxurious bath with two sinks and a big tub plus heated marble floor, big living room with very comfy and solid foldout bed(not the kind with bars), 2 big tvs, and even a nice balcony with great views! A nice plus, both the bedroom and living room had their own doors. And they even sent up a free bottle of wine and fruit plate! Nice staff, great room. And Ess-a-bagel, one of the city's best bagels shops, is right around the corner. next time I go to NY I'll check the Kimberly's rates/availability first.

The hotel was a great location for my meetings in mid-town & the room was very large. I was surprised that my room wasn't cleaned properly - like dirty spoons, garbage left on the counters & other stuff. The staff isn't very friendly & rarely smiled when I spoke to them. In some cases I got 1 word answers & decided to figure things out for myself.

The two room suite was huge. The bedroom had a very comfortable bed, and the large outer room had a modern kitchen area, a large elegant sitting area, and a balcony. The staff was very helpful. Only a couple of blocks from Rockefeller Center, the location was very good for visiting New York. The price, especially for New York City, was a great deal.

Overall the experience was wonderful. The only things I was not satisfied with; the lighting was too dim, and the shower head either needed cleaning or an adjustment, water was insufficient for a quality shower

Love this place- apartment style rooms huge for new york for a great price and the service is fantastic. Small enough to be homey but big enough to have all the services you need. Stay here.

Very comfortable and spacious. Breakfast however had no service And inadequate seating. Aside from that we will be back

Could not get certain channels on digital tv. Room was very nice and the bathroom was great. Free breakfast a plus. Overall awoderful visit.

The Kimberly was a true pleasure. Everyone from the bellman to the manager at the desk was so kind. We stayed during a quiet time on a snowy weekend in January. The manager upgraded our two rooms to suites. The rooms had just been upgraded and the decor was absolutely lovely. The rooms were spacious. The valet parking in garage across the street was convenient and was 33$ per 24 hours..reasonable by NYC standards. The breakfast was very nice and substantial. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

We were upgraded, so the very friendly receptionist told us! Anyway our room were just as we expected. We had problems the first night as the A/C did not function. We had no expectations and were prepared to change room. But, our complaint were dealt with immediately. When we came back after a long day at Manhattan, everything was fixed! Were we satisfied? Oh yes! In general the staff were friendly. did their best to meet our requests, in particular we would like to mention the concierge on duty 31Dec 2011. We asked for her assistance several times also on earlier days. She was friendly, always on alert, giving our questions her full attention. Would we recommend the Kimberly to our friends? Oh yes! and stay there ourselves? Absolutely.

The best part of the Kimberly is the staff: in the dining room, the service is terrific in the rooftop breakfast room. The bellstaff is outstanding. The location of the hotel is terrific also.

The Kimberley is located two blocks behind the Waldorf Astoria, an easy walk to all of mid town. The staff was extremely friendly and actually seemed eager to be of assistance. The room was sparkling clean and made up promptly. I have only good things to say. Would definately stay here again.

Unfortunately there was no cold water in the system. both facets had boiling water. I report this to the desk.

We just returned from our stay at the Kimberly Hotel and have only positive things to say. From the moment we checked in the staff was helpful, friendly and very welcoming especially to the kids. The location is good for walking to a lot -- Rock Center, Sony, Central Park, Times Square. We enjoyed the whole experience and would definitely stay there again and recommend to others to stay here as well.

The Kimberly is most satisfactory for our N.Y. . visits. The newly refurbished rooms are attractive and quiet. The hotel staff is professional and friendly and ready to respond to individual needs. We hope to stay there on future visits. Visitors from San Antonio, Texas

After waiting 2 hours for my room to be ready, I was shown into a Deluxe King room which was depressing because it was somewhat dark, and the following pieces of furniture were missing: armchair, sofa, desk, and credenza. The windows were so dirty, I could hardly see through them. The staff was very helpful and offered me an upgrade for the last 2 nights. The hotel seems to be renovating certain rooms from which they have removed furniture while still selling the room. Also, the Sunday brunch was not a typical buffet brunch but simply a breakfast with choices.

We enjoyed the staff who were very helpful and pleasant In great location to get to many tourist venues.

this is my 3rd visit to the Kimberly and it just keeps on getting better! The staff was very helpful and when I had an problem with the alarm clock someone was up to look at it within 5 minutes of my call, even though it was close to 11 PM. This is a very good hotel.
