I was 100% satisfied with every aspect of my stay. My one bedroom Villa was spotless, all new kitchen, new carpets, 2 HD Wide screen TV's. A Great 6 day stay at a beautiful resort.

We thought the overall stay was good. It was worth the money. We didn't like that we were put in the last building next to maintenance. Their dang golf carts started running at 7am and didn't stop until11:30pm. The staff spoke alot in Spanish and were loud starting at 7am outside our windows. The villa itself was clean and comfortable. We we not happy that there was no internet in the villas, we had to go to the front to use our lap top every time. The staff were very good about getting us fresh towels, more supplies ect.

The price that I got for the room was almost unbelievable but when I got to the room, I could see why. The carpets were very dirty; my children would walk around barefoot and they would be black from the accumulated filth. The kitchen utensils were very limited, not what I am used to seeing in a timeshare. The room had an odor of cigarette smoke, and I have two family members with severe health conditions who were affected by the smell. It was a great vacation and we tried to make the best of it considering; but I will not be returning to this location. On a more positive note, the grounds are surrounded with beautiful oaks and nature, and there are dozens of beautiful peacocks roaming about. The hotel staff was very courteous. The setting was beautiful but this hotel needs a serious facelift.

The location of the resort is perfect, but the room was very dusty and unclean. Lots of things did not function anymore like the stove. We got a major allergic reaction because of the dust and uncleanliness. They promised to clean the room but it never happened. The gentlemen who tried to sell us the timeshare had a very rude attitude after stating not to be interested in buying.

After reading the reviews we decided to stay here anyway to save some money. That was our first mistake. Soon as we got there and checked in, they sent us over to see someone for our parking pass. That someone was somebody trying to get us to commit to attending a timeshare sales seminar. After declining 5 times they finally gave us our parking pass and let us leave. Although we didn't spend alot of time in our room, the time we did spend there was not enjoyable at all. Bed was so outdated and uncomfortable that it may have been better for us to sleep on the floor. We payed the additional $10/day to get housekeeping service. That amounted to taking out any trash can that was overflowing and making the bed. We never got any towels or washclothes. We called every day for towels and washclothes and were assured every time that they would have them braught up to our rooms right away. It never happend. So if your only concern is money, go ahead and stay there. It is one of the lowest price places you're likely to find. If you want a place you can relax in and have a good time then definately pass them by.

We booked this hotel based on photos and the good price for a two bedroom suite. When we got there they sent us to the wrong room, but did fix the situation. The room was large, but many things were in need of repair. I am not just talking about decor, which was dated but not a concern to me. The refrigerator ice maker leaked down onto the food. There was so much water it poured out onto the floor! The stove burners were crooked, the microwave had no turntable, the bathroom light fixture was rusted, the clothes dryer took 5 hours to dry a load, etc. The televisions are at least 10 years old. Another reviewer complained about a VCR instead of DVD player. I would have been happy to have either, because our room didn't have a VCR or DVD player. The Tiki bar is small and old. You have to get your parking pass from someone who tries to sell you a time share. Security is lacking because most of the time one of the gates was up, as well as the fact that people were driving through the back of the property from the motel owned by the same company. There were a few small flying insects in our room, possibly drain flies. The children's spray ground area was not completely functional. I could go on and on. The brochure describes the villas as "providing luxuries beyond expectations imaginable." I would describe it as rustic, not horrible, but not great either. In short, everything was functional, but low quality. If you don't mind rustic and want a good price this might be for you. Finally there are peacocks wandering the grounds which we thought were beautiful until we were awakened by them screeching in the middle of the night every night.

The room was filthy and had a horrible odor.

Great place, i was shocked after some reviews said it was dirty and old, it was nice. Very family friendly, good staff, great time, will be back soon

Worn. Pool area ok. Rest of this place in need of an upgrade. Screaming birds running loose & waking you up in the night/early morning.

We enjoyed our stay at Oak's and although it is an older Resort we felt quite at home. Staff is friendly and it is not far from all the amusement parks of the area.

Enjoyed the location and facility but the staff consistently failed to provide any service such as cleaning, answering simple questions, providing extra sheets and towels, internet access/ printer use.

My family and I recently spent 3 nights with this hotel and it was spacious however villa was very dirty. The toilet looked like it hasn't been cleaned in months, the walls were disgusting, and the sinks had snot all over them. The villas come with cups and plates for the kitchen but we had to re wash everything because housekeeping only throws them in the dishwasher and they were not clean. We had to contact the office twice during our stay because housekeeping did not provide towels or soap. The hotel is far from Disney and there's only a few gas stations close by but no restaurants or grocery stores. I do have to say that a gentleman at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The drinks from the bar suck and so was the bartenders attitude, we had to wait at least 10 minutes before he helped us and he had no customers, the pools were dirty as well with dirt and leaves in them. The general store closes at 3pm which is not convenient at all. The only good thing about this place was space so I believe that hotel management should take a look at all these comments and hire REAL housekeeping attendants with EXPERIENCE!

the service was very good and we enjoy every norment of it

Unit washer dryer combo out of order all of the time we stayed there even though we complained upon arrival. Carpet in bedroom worn with holes.

They call them self RESORT but it's far away to be on that category. No wi-fi in rooms, very old buildings have that old building smell, they are comfortable because they are big, the first day they cleaned my room but didn't change towels. Far away from parks. How ever customer services is good, the lady who took care of me on my check-in and out was wonderful. If they want to fall in the RESORT category still need to work hard.

I wasn't expecting much, but the photos on the website are a bit misleading and definitely not recent. The hotel is basically townhomes/apts units, nothing too special about it. The room we had had outdated furniture, two old TV's and a VCR?? It was basically clean and the kitchen had most of what we needed; plates, cups, utensils, etc. The price was great, but I don't know if I would go back or refer others to it, unless you're looking for a bargain. Another other negative was there is a small airport nearby and it's right in the flight path, so noise was an issue at times. The grounds of the resort were not very well maintained either.

The Bed was dirty with hairs in it snot on headboard the place was a dump!!!!!!!

We had a group of us so we needed a big room. This place seemed to have fit the bill being a 2/2 with an inexpensive per room rate. It was not nearly as close to the parks as we thought- at best a 25 minute drive hwy. We asked about the shuttle service to Disney they told us the time of shuttle. Then we went there and they told us we had to sign in for the shuttle. That was never mentioned. Worst of it all was the night we wanted to go downtown and needed a cab. We were fine waiting the 30 minutes for the cab to come. When it arrive it was an unmarked van with no meter. I told the "cab driver" I only had a credit card and he said he didnt take them. Which in fl - is not legal- when your dealing with a legitimate cab co.He then admitted to my friend he's an illegal cab. So the cab left. Called the front desk again furious they would send out an illegal unlicensed cab co. The front desk guy HUNG UP ON ME! I asked for the manager she was basically useless saying they were trying to call another cab co. Had no excuse or reason behind why the illegal one was sent. And then basically "reminded" me I could do this myself and call a cab. Excuse me- I'm on vacation- sorry to bother you to do your job. Long story short I would never stay there again. The rooms are big and if you don't care about dated furnishings (which I didn't) your in a good place. Just don't dare ask your front desk for any modern requests like calling a cab... Your better off at a motel6

What a wonderful find.We had the best time at your resort everything you could possibly need was rite there.If we didnt have family in town we would of never left the resort.We have a two year old and he really enjoyed the spout park and we loved all the pools.We make this trip at least once a year and from now on this is where we will stay.

This resort looks like it was past it's glory days. The furniture and linens were old and faded. There were wholes in the blankets. However, it was all very clean, the 2 bedroom villa was large and came with a well equipped kitchen. The pool was nice and my children would have liked to spend more time there.In all, the good points seemed to cancel the bad points and at the excellent rate we received through the internet we would gladly stay here again.

Disgusting rooms, smelly… staff is horrible… not sure why they employed them….I would fire of al them and hire new people wanting to work… Hole in the blankets, noise all over the place… Do not even go to the pool… the tiki bar and the barman will make you feel miserable. Do not waste your many there… you will be better sleeping in your car ! Pls close that hotel !

The neighborhood is going downhill, front gate was open on two occasions, our room door was open when returned one day, cobwebs in the room, room smelled of urine, no housekeeping (our choice) however no spare trash bags or toilet paper. Did not feel safe after dark in the neighborhood. Hotel is starting to look not maintained, back fence to property has been knocked down and we witnessed a car coming in the back of the resort.. Lock was broken on our door. Our room had a vcr but all you could rent were dvd's. Stayed here last year, but it has really taken a turn for the worse and will not stay again.

We were impressed with the efficient check-in and the type of accommodation. The pool area is very large and there are activities almost everyday for any size of family. It is only a short drive to any attraction or you can go on the free shuttle. It has specific drop off and pick up times. You only need to reserve at no cost. There is a general store and a bar by the pool. We really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to go again in the future.

Do not stay here! Room smelled like mold - bad. A/c rattled through the night. DIRTY! Old and dirty run down time share that's breathing it's last gasp!

wonderful stay i recomend

I reserved the room for the weekend and had tickets bought for the Christmas parade at magic kingdom. When we got to the hotel they could not find our reservation and after an hour they finally called hotel.com and they said they forgot to fax the paperwork even though we were sent an email confirmation that everything was taken care of and that there is no need to call and confirm and that the email was confirmation enough. We ended up missing the Christmas parade because the time wasted just trying to check in. Tickets for magic kingdom that night was almost sixty dollars a person and we had four people checking in that night. Needless to say that if I ever use you service again I will be triple checking my reservation.

I paid for housekeeping at extra cost per days(6 days bookings), but need to ask for new towels every days. No towels at all in my room and got them at almosr 10 P.M. at night. to take a shower. Floor in every rooms were very dirty, even though in bed room. Need to wear shoes all the time. Room floorplan is O.K. for 4 people. Cleanliness in room need to be improved badly.

We stayed at this property for one night. We paid a very competitive price for the night for a 2bdrm villa. The villa seemed very old but it was clean. I don't think I would stay here again, it was just not a nice place. The only perk was that it was spacious for a large family. No wi-fi in the villa, that seems like something standard to me, but it wasn't available. Check in was at 4pm which is late, but they allowed us to check in at 2pm.

We asked to be moved to another room... It was so filthy and dirty that it was hard to believe someone cleaned it ever. Besides the poor maintenance, the bedding is Florida's most uncomfortable, totally outdated. I believe those mattresses were at least 20 years old, expired with rusty springs. The sofa bed was another painful story. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody until they renew the whole thing. It is a pity because the staff is awesome. I've never seen more kind and dedicated people willing to help and make your stay an enjoyable one.

We love staying at Oak Plantation. It is like a home away from home!

ac was not working,beds were uncofortable

Overall was a nice place just needed a kitchen remodel. Stayed here during 4 nights during Thanksgiving week while my family and I went to the Disney parks. Close to shopping, Wal Mart and Super Target are right down the street. Several fast food restaurants near by also. About a 15 min drive to the Disney Parks. I was hesitant about staying here after reading bad reviews about roaches in the rooms and smelly rooms. I emailed the manager and said that I read bad reviews about the resort and I wanted the cleanest and most updated room available. He email me back and assured me that I would have a clean nice smelling room. When I arrived and checked in they told me that my room was upgraded to "The Savannah" at no extra charge.The Savannah is a larger nicer unit right next to the pool. It has vaulted ceilings and a loft bedroom upstairs with a balcony. I stayed in building 1 on the 2nd floor so if you stay here request building 1 which is pool front. The other buildings on the back of the lake look older and run down so make sure you request a Savannah room. Our room was clean when I arrived, the living room furniture was clean. The pillows on the bed were small and hard and the mattress was a little firm as well but not too bad. My two small kids slept on the pull out sofa downstairs. I was happy to see that I did not see any bugs anywhere and the place smelled clean. The shower head leaked and the water pressure was weak. I had to hold down the leaver on the toilet to get it to flush. The water had a funny smell and taste to it but that is Florida water for ya. The bathroom was large and had a nice large walk in closet off the bathroom. The kitchen appliances were from the 1980's and need to be replaced but all worked. We did not use the washer and dryer but they looked clean. We did not use the pool but it is very nice and there is a poolside bar. It was a great little place the cleaning staff should learn to knock better but my stay was great.

Enjoyed the stay. We had a small mishap and the management took care of everything very quickly and were very caring. I would highly recommend this condo. The rooms and furnishings were a little dated, but clean.

The bed sheet were dirty & have some kind of bugs on it, we could not slept even thought the mang send us clean sheet like n hour later after we requested themL my fiancé have to do the bed because there was no nobody available at 11 pm to do it! After it the mouse of walking people on top of the bedroom was a nightmare! Never again will go there!

This is was suppose to be the vacation of a life time. We waited 13 years for this vacation. We arrrive at 2 p.m. after driving 430 miles to get here. We waited 2 hours to get put into are vacation villa that was a 800 sq. ft. apartment. No outside light. The location was in the middle of little cuba. I didn't feel stay leaving my family here. We had a 70 year old grandma with us who had to climb up 15 stairs. The room was dated and in despire need of repair.tWE go to the lady at the front desk to let her know and they start speaking spanish. I don't speak spainish or understand. They never did fix are problem so we left 2 days early.

When we booked the place, we were excited to have two bedrooms and a kitchen. When we got there, we were disapointed in the maintenance of the place. It's not horrible, but its not great either. It did not feel like the cleanest hotel room I've ever stayed in. The layout, space and price were the saving graces, and it is close to Disney World.
