The only reason I mark 4 on maintenance is because they were working in the entrances other then that the place was great

First of all, this hotel is on the extreme outskirts of Stockton, so I felt safe. Heard cars and frogs at night; the setting has a rural feel despite being next to a busy freeway. The fridge and microwave make a big difference when I'm traveling re: not wasting food and saving money. And being able to just open the window to get fresh air (which is less and less frequently an option in big hotels) was a delightful, natural way to cool the room down at night. The hotel seemed really new and clean, and the larger-than-tiny sized yogurts for breakfast were greatly appreciated.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable; pretty much what you would expect of a Hampton Inn. However, the location was very remote with nothing around it but a McDonalds, Jack-in-the-Box, and Denny's. Literally, that was all that it was near except for warehouses. I was in Stockton on business and I thought I would try it since the rates were fairly reasonable through Hotels.com. However, I had a difficult time finding the hotel and ended up in a very bad area of Stockton. Although the hotel is very nice and the staff is very friendly, I would not stay there again due to the location.

Overall it was a great place to stay. They are doing remodeling, so the pool/spa was closed (so my little one was disappointed). The rooms were quiet, clean and comfortable. The location was right off of the highway, but at the edge of town. There were multiple restaurants around as well as a list that the front desk gave to us of local eateries. Downtown wasn't far and a smooth drive to get there, especially with cell-technology these days. I would definately stay here again!

the hotel is very nice, rooms modern and comfy, good breakfast. The only problem was we specifically selected this one for our overnight in Stockton due to the nice indoor pool for the kiddies. CLOSED for renovations! I wish there was some way hotels could convey this information to hotels.com or other websites so that customers can KNOW in advance and either 1) realize why rooms are available at a good price (no pool) or 2) find another hotel. Front desk not too receptive to my family's disappointment either, could have offered some sort of condolence or ? Might stay there again but will call first to verify all amenities are available.

Hotel was clean and the rooms comfortable. I have stayed at many Hampton Inns before and the breakfast buffet was real good. The breakfast was not good at all and not much of a selection. Location not so good.

Loved having the many options for breakfast and a fridge/microwave in the room, and free wi-fi. I brought my own homemade meals for dinner and ate in the room then worked for a few hours each evening. I actually lost weight while on a 1-week business trip and managed to keep up with my work emails! Since they are remodeling many of the rooms, there was a lot of furniture outside the main entrance and carpets were being replaced outside of the elevator, but I was aware of that before I arrived and it did not impact my stay at all. The nights and mornings were very quiet, the bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was very large and nicely furnished. My only issues were the sink drained slowly (but I didn't call in about it) and once the room must have been shampooed during the day because it was damp in the evening. But all in all I was very happy with the room, the staff, and my stay in general. I would definitely recommend the Hampton Inn on Arch Drive.

Great service. Enjoyed the breakfast. Yummy fresh made waffles. Coffee hot and strong. Evening fresh coffee was a pleasant surprise. Conference room was most often too cold. Too much noise in halls outside conference room. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

It was very nice and clean. The beds were great. I wish the Breakfast was open until 11 am. Also I made a huge mistake I was suppose to be at other hotel by the 5 freeway on French Camp.

The staff were very friendly and always accomodating.

Fine. Enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub.

The Hampton was right by the HWY. Nice rooms & friendly front desk & housekeeping staff. Our only negative experience was with the evening hostess of the drinks & snacks. She was rude & most unaccommodating to us.

Very unhappy and will not stay in this hotel again. They didnt clean my room the next day. When I came back to the room the trash from the bathroom was still there and the beds were not neatly done. A towel that was under the sink, which was there when we got there, was still there. So to me they only flip the cover of the bed and thats it. The pillows were all over the bed. And supposely the manager was going to call me but it has been 4 days and no call. The sad part was that the front desk told me to take out my trash and she gave me a new bag to put it on. Horrible!

The hotel crew was fantastic, from our late night check-in to breakfast in the morning they did a great job. Very clean facilty, nice mattrasses in the rooms. My son goes to UoP and we will stay here again. Very good value. Thanks Hampton Inn well done.

Convienient to Stockton airport. Clean hotel, friendly staff.

I loved this hotel! It seemed a little far from the main town when I booked it, but I am so glad I did pick it. I took my family on a buisness trip with me. This area was very safe and I felt comfortable bringing my kids here. There were farms across the street and a Denny's, Taco Bell and 7-Eleven in the same parking lot. Everything we needed right there. The hotel's continental breakfast was THE best I have ever had. They had omlets, a waffle maker, fresh fruit, oatmeal and an assortment of breads. They even had a hot snack every night in the hotel lobby and fresh baked cookies for free! The indoor pool was small, but nice and kept the kids entertained. the staff were all very nice and helpful. The freeway noise was a little loud, but I thought it was going to be worse. I would recommend this hotel!!

My 3rd floor room put my window adjactant to the 99 Freeway. The freeway noise kept waking me up all night even through I am a fairly heavy sleeper. The noise level increase as the early morning traffic picked up. I finally had to just get up as there was no point in trying to keep trying to sleep.
