Hampton Inn Ft. Lauderdale Airport North Cruise Port - فورت لوديردال

All the reviews are right. This is a wonderful hotel. We asked reception for dinner recommendations and we were able to choose from a variety of take-out menus. The Hampton Inn shuttle took us to Lil' Reds for wonderful barbecue and picked us up prompted when we called.

We went on a Carnival cruise and we stayed the night prior to departure. I called hotel and we waited no more than 10 mins. For pickup to the hotel. The staff was awesome and our room was clean and the beds was comfortable. The next morning we had a wake up call and as promised the van was there to pick us up. The driver was polite and helped us with our luggage. When the cruise was over we was picked up and taken back to the hotel. We waited less than an hour for our room. We had to be back to the airport the following morning and the hotel had us picked up and taken to the airport. To some it up . It was the best deal in town. We look forward to our next stay.

Not satisfactory. Cot supplied uncomforable. Door stuck! Hallways needed vaccuming. Some staff rude to us senior ladies! Shuttle Drivers excelllent. Continentall breakfast did not always have fruit. We booked accessiible room which wasn't provided, We had three rooms before we were shown suitable one. First two unclean and not not completely accessible. PLANTATION HAMPTON FAR MORE SUPERIOR..

Quite, clean, great breakfast, wifi, free shuttle from airport & to cruise port.

This hotel just about offers everything for pre cruisers. Located 30 feet away is McDonalds for late arrivals who are in need of a fast meal. Next to hotel is a strip mall. Winn Dixie supermarket, liquor store and several discount box stores. Be aware this is definitely not an upscale area of Ft. Lauderdale. Like watch your surroundings!! Hampton Inns seem to have a very good business model and the mgr. of this one, David Blevins, is as good as they come.

We loved our stay at the Hampton Inn so much that in the future we will look for a Hampton Inn for our next stay.

lack of restaurants other than fast food is a draw back for this location. However, good value if you are sailing out of Ft Lauderdale and are looking for a quality hotel with free shuttle to/from airport and cruise terminal. Not the best neighborhood. Bathroom lighting was certainly not designed for women. Hard to see when applying make-up. Would be nice if it had a magnified mirror too.

When we arrived at the Hampton Inn, there was a waiting line to check in. The woman on the desk seemed to find this amusing. The small lobby was littered with all kinds of trash on the floor and tables, not a good first impression. The room assigned to us was not the one that had been promised on the pruned confirmation. We finally agreed on a room the would work. The room was spacious and comfortable. The neighborhood was not what I expected. A drive of three miles took us to delightful area of Las Olas, where we enjoyed walking and dining. The airport was close and easy to get to.

Good overall..but the pool was dirty, no fridge or micowave in the room.

only stayed one night but hotel met our needs. We wanted shuttle service from the airport, they allowed us to get into our room earlier than check in (thank you so much because we were very tired) and the breakfast was actually very good. The breakfast attendant was such a hard worker - she helped with making the waffles, got the utensils out quickly and with a smile, cleaned up when folks walked away leaving their mess behind (come on, folks, really?). Most of the other guests appeared to be cruisers and we were there for a concert but everyone appeared to be enjoying their visit.

The hotel is very nice and conveniently located between the airport and the cruise terminal. The airport pick up and delivery to the cruise lines is an added bonus. However, the hotel is so busy we had to wait a long time for our rooms to be cleaned before we could check in both going and coming. The breakfast is very nice. Also the drivers of he vans were super nice. It is a little pricey but the convenience is great.

This was our second stay before a cruise. The hotel is very clean and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is also a nice plus. The airport pickup was very prompt after our call. Our only complaint was the inability to reserve a cruiseport shuttle ahead of time. We could have gotten on the ship a couple of hours earlier if we had been able to reserve in advance (especially since we had PAID in advance). All-in-all a good experience.

Perfect for a overnight before going on a cruise. The airport-hotel-cruise port free shuttle is a big plus.

Front desk staff very helpful & friendly. Breakfast selection excellent. Rooms decorated nicely & clean. Only disadvantage was it was 6 miles from the Galleria Shopping Center. However, it was convenient to the airport & cruise ports.

We stayed here after our cruise and called the desk when we arrived and they told us it would be about 45 mins before they could pick us up. After an hour I called back and the lady was very apoligitic and explained that the shuttle was very busy as they had about 60 people waiting to go to the cruise port and told me to take a taxi and she would reimburse me. She was true to here word. The shuttle even took us to dinner and picked us up, plus took us to the airport at 6:00 am for our flight. The hotel was very crowded and when we finally got in our room it was very comfortable. I would stay there again and would recomend it.

Recently stayed as a first time cruiser, and it was great. The shuttle from the airport and to the cruise was very efficient, and extremely convenient. The hotel was very clean and very efficient as there is extremely high cruise traffic, but they manage it very well. This will be our hotel of choice whenever we are cruising.

We enjoyed the free shuttle from the airport & to the cruise port. The place was clean & comfortable and we would stay there again.

Hampton Inn Ft. Lauderdale was clean, incredibly comfortable, convenient & reasonably priced. Staff were informed & courteous, breakfast was served in a large comfy space & transportation to & from the airport was a breeze. I'd do it again in a heartbeat! Thanks to all staff there for doing such a pro job! (& to Hotels.com for making it so easy!)

The hotel is not upscale but well worth the money paid. Service was wonderful and the hotel provides free shuttle service to and from airport & cruise port. I would definitely stay again if we were leaving from Ft. Lauderdale.

This hotel was great for picking us up at the airport. The room was clean and nice. The free breakfast was great and they had the shuttle service to the cruise ships was run great!!

Booked the Hampton Inn with some reservation, knowing that reviews were not all favorable. We were delighted with the hotel, especially the friendly staff. We were picked up at the airport by the hotel van, complete with pink flamingos on the roof, a bit corny but fun. The van diver will take you to a restuarant within a couple of miles of the hotel at no charge. The small waterfront eartery he suggested was wonderful. The front desk and breakfast room personnel where great! Since most of the clients were cruise passengers, the lobby was full of friendly and fun people visiting with each other while we waited our turn to be shuttled to our ship. Will certainly stay there again for our next cruise.

The hotels in this area are a little pricey. I stayed in Tampa same time last year and paid half the price at a much nicer hotel. Not sure why Fort Lauderdale hotels cost so much more than Tampa hotels.

I booked 3 rooms for 9 people for the night before our family's cruise. The complimentary hotel shuttle picked us up at the airport within minutes of calling! The only complaint that I had was that the hotel shuttle that was to take us over to the ship the next day was running several hours behind schedule. Our group ended up calling another shuttle company to pick us up at hotel. Other than that, everything was great. Nice breakfast spread in the morning.

The staff at this hotel a very customer oriented. They anticipated needs of guests who would be going on a cruise from Port Everglades and devleoped a service plan to service them well including convienant shuttles, a restaurant recommentations and transport. If we cruise again from Ft. Lauderdale we will definately use this property.

Upon arriving at the airport with my husband and two children I called the hotel, which the line was busy for 20 minutes. When I finally was able to get through the gentleman who answered gave me directions as to where we were to wait outside the airport. While walking to the area I read him the sign and he said "yes that is the place" and the driver would be there in 15 min. After a half hour I called the hotel again and after several times of calling due to a busy line the gentleman said the driver would be there in 5 min. Finally an hour after the first call the driver finally showed up with an attitude telling us we were waiting in the wrong area. No apologies were ever made by the driver or the hotel staff. When we got to the hotel we discovered we were not in a very safe neighborhood. So if you have children I would definitely reconsider booking this hotel. I have stayed in several hotels throughout the years due to business and I can honestly say that I have never been treated with such disrespect by hotel staff in all my years. They treat you here as if they are doing you a favor by letting you stay here instead of you doing them a favor by giving them your business. My family and I were suppose to stay here after our cruise and I guarantee you we will be booking another hotel after I'm done writing this review. PLEASE reconsider booking this hotel!! Good luck and I hope you have a better start to your vacation than we did!!!

I cannot believe this is Hampton Inn. This is as good as Westin in my opinion, and much more friendly. The room is spacious and clean. The breakfast option is plenty. And everybody there is so nice and ready to help. Next time I go to FLL I will stay there again.

Had a great time. It was our last day of vacation returning from a cruise. Staff was very accomodating we had a 6 a.m flight the next day and they brought us to the airport at 4 a.m.

Husband and I made reservations in July for December 3rd, was told , should not be a problem with us getting into a room early since our airline flight was scheduled for arrival at 10:00am and would be at the hotel around 11:00 am. I had specificed we needed a handicapp room for my husband. When we got to the hotel it was packed with people waiting to get a room, We were told we would have to wait until they filled 28 rooms for a group that was there. After waiting for almost 3 hrs we finally ask if any of these people had a handicapp room and was told no: they then put us in our room. Room was clean and shower was sufficient for husbands handicapp. Hotel was close to a few fast food restaurants (Subway and Wendy's)

Who would have thought this was a Hampton Inn. Typically when traveling, you'd expect the no frills standard room. This hotel was either new or newly renovated beyond current standards. It was like living in a luxury apartment building. Everything was immaculate and with the utmost style. Where are there more of these because I wouldn't choose anything else!

considering how very busy this hotel is because of it's location the staff was efficient and so courteous

We stayed here before our cruise and were very impressed. For reasonable fee I left my car here for the week and the hotel shuttle took us to and from the port. The room was very clean and comfortable for the price. Best value I could find for the hotel/ parking/ shuttle
