It was great. Great receptionist.

the staff was great , located on the fourth floor of the very busy building with different Hotel on each floor . i was not satisfied by the quality of the room they gave me , very very tiny small and completely different from the one i booked . when i talked to them about it , they told me all the room are fully booked they can't do nothing about it , very tiny room , i am so disappointed and not going back at that hotel . the internet and the staff were great , but not satisfied with the room they gave me .

This is a tiny hotel 2 minutes walk from Termini. If you plan to explore Rome using public transport; staying near Termini will save your valuable time (and money of course). This is a hotel for people who don't plan to spend too much time in their room. The staff is very helpful, the breakfast is very good, you can hear your neighbors if they are loud, wifi is free, water is hot, and the hotel is safe and clean.

Its, was good staying. Good Service. Frendly atention Recepcion., and they all help you in your questions about any way :) but the shower place its Was bad, in the Toilette., the water go out When you showering., and the whole bath is filled with water :( the varied breakfast really good. good atmosphere inside the hotel," fellowship" but I think the tv can be in a place where you can enjoy sinse ;) little things that can improve service and customer satisfaction...... Hotel is housed on two floors (4th and 5th floor) of a building which houses other hotels as well. Once you get to the 4th floor its as if you entered a 4 star hotel. Very clean and staff is very helpful. Rooms are normal 'American size' not cramped european one's, and bathrooms are clean and decent size as well. Shower's could be a little cramped but for a normal size person it should be more than accomodating. It is literally one block from the main train station where you can catch the metro line A and B and basically see all the sites in room. We stayed for two days and one night and it was just perfect to not have to lug your bags around trying to find your hotel by tourist areas. This gives you convenience of being right next to the station and the ability to visit all the sites. Felt completely safe since area is not too far away from the station. And if you eat only halal food there's about 4 or 5 restaurants within one block of the area.

The hotel was clean and updated, however it's on the 4th floor and the walk up with luggage was interesting... You can take an elevator but it looked to be from the 1800's.

Hotel Scott House is conveniently located about a block from Roma Termini train station. It's one of those little hotels that takes up a floor in an old building. My single room was tiny (typical for Italy) but clean, and had good bathroom facilities. There was free wifi, a mini-fridge and a good AC unit. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fine (typical European style, but plenty to eat). The elevator was tiny and could sometimes take a long time to arrive. For what I paid, I was quite satisfied with the hotel as my base while in Rome.

Hotel was in a great location right across from roma termini. The staff was really friendly and helpful!

We stayed there because it was very close to Termini station and close to a lot of tourist attractions. But upon arrival, we were told that our room was not available due to some piping issues and they gave us a tiny room with a full size bed (for my husband and I). When we asked if we wouldn't not be charged as much as a standard room we were told that the charge would remain the same. They ask for deposit for using the TV remote control. Bathroom had mold. We later stayed in Crosti Hotel which was way much better and decent.

Just near the termini station,better than consider, good breadfast and 24H service.But the room is a little bit small and old.

Clean room, very convenient location, good breakfast, nice lady for check-out service, but service extremely slow during check-in. The man at reception desk was acting like a stupid snob, the kind of service you see in an American comedy movie. He was the stereotype of someone who doesn't like his job and gives a pathetic customer service. Hopefully, we received the total opposite from the young lady when we left.

Not a 5 star but all you need to have a pelasant, clean and conviniently located stay. A little noisy even at night but that is city center for you...

This hotel was extremely conveniently located near the main train station. We were able to take the buses or subway anywhere we needed within town, which was exactly why we booked the hotel. It was not a luxury hotel experience. It got the job done, though in terms of a clean, safe bedroom. The air conditioner quit in the middle of the night two nights in a row. But after that, we had no problems staying cool in the room. I would recommend it to someone on a budget getaway.

Wonderful place to stay when exploring Rome. Very near central station allows easy access to regional trains to get to various Italian cities. Bus interchange nearby also facilitates travelling from travel hotspots in Rome. Good that they have Wi-fi for hotel guest as it helps to settle some last-minute research conveniently.

Great value for the location. Only a few blocks from the train station. Rooms were small but not a problem for someone who is going out to see the city. The free breakfast was fantastic and all staff was very accomodating. The only flaws were in the bathroom. The shower stall leaked onto the floor outside the shower. The toilet was also extremely close to the wall, so much so that your leg touches the wall. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good deal. We were three college students on a budget and found this hotel a great option.

The staff was outgoing and very helpful. The floors were polished and gleaming. It was so nice to have an air-conditioned retreat in Rome’s heat. Although the area was rather scruffy it had many conveniences. The hotel is close to the trains, bus and subway terminal. That was extremely handy. There are many restaurants and services that are located in the terminal. There is a small grocery store a couple doors down and a laundry mat around the corner.

My stay here was sketchy. I went out one night and left the tv on only to come back 4 hours later and the tv was off and my bags were moved around. Someone was 100% in my room. Also you must give the key back at the desk - sketchy. Finally the area is dangerous and filled will homeless people. You are overpaying to stay near the train station. You can get a hotel much better than this near the trevi fountain for under eighty Euros a night... this is overpriced and the front desk guy is a jerk. Skip it.

I am torn between recommending this hotel and not. The room was really small (single bed), but the bathroom was decent sized. The service ranged from mildly hostile to extremely friendly. The neighbourhood, about 100 meters from Roma Termini, may seem a little scary, but was actually quite safe. WIFI and proximity to the terminal clinched the deal for me.

This hotel is great for it's location, less than a block from Stazione Termini. It was all exceptionally clean in the very tiny room. The staff was helpful and courteous, spoke perfect English. The only drawback was the sounds as I was trying to get to sleep for an early wake up. There was someone in the back alley yelling out for over an hour and I had to close the shutters which made the room hot. But this perhaps is unusual, however you can hear the sounds of traffic but it did die down at a reasonable hours.I would stay there again.

Right next to train station. Perfect for budget trip. Staffs are nice. Free wifi. Just ask the staff for password.

Don't judge a book by its cover. From the outside this hotel may not be much to look at but on the inside it is clean, friendly and SAFE! All staff made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to make us feel at home, helping out with information at all times possible. The room was super spacious, clean and even had a television with english options. It is close to all major attractions with the train and bus depot less than 5 minutes walk. At night, as well as the concierge on 24/7 there was also a young gentlemen acting as security down stairs. A top hotel!!!!!!!!

Very good quality hotel, good location to train station and Rome venues. All very easily accessible and I am 56. Staff very helpful and a smile over breakfast always starts your day positively. Highly recommended.

Close to the Roma Termini and nice employees

The room was very comfortable and clean....the hotel is close to every where and the best for the price you pay...The staff were very friendly especially the female one who spoke English very well and was very very helpful....

We had just spent a week in Italy staying at a lot of really cute hotels and then we got to the Scott House and wow what a disappointment! You had to take an elevator to the 4th floor to get to the very small reception desk. The guy behind the desk was really SLOW and had the worst personality ever! The electricity in the room didn’t work and the staff had to go all over trying to get it to work. At breakfast the food was sub par and the room was super little so a lot of guests had to wait in the hall before they were allowed to enter the breakfast room. The rooms were clean – but we had to put a $5 deposit to be able to get a remote for the TV (very weird).

The hotel's exterior is not inviting and the entrance is on the fourth floor. However, once in the part of the building that is the hotel, it is a wonderful surprise. There are nice floors, the desk staff is very helpful and friendly, the room was comfortable and clean and the breakfast satisfactory (although it was skimpy on coffee). The location was wonderfully central. We would stay there again!

This hotel is on the 4th floor , very unussual but once we got there we were impressed of how cozy and clean it was, very spacious. Great location, if you get to Termini it's a block away, u don't need a taxi, also Termini (the train and subway terminal) it's the only terminal where the only two lines for the subway meet. Rome doesn't have a big subway system so the fact of being close to Termini where everything meets it's great. Staff was very helpful. Simple, clean and cute.

The hotell was clean and had a nice location close to the terminal station. Most of the personal was nice, exept for one male receptionist, for who I think it's time to change job. Our window was facing the street so I had to sleep with earplugs, but then we also slept with our window open since we like it cool. But overall I would recomend this hotel.

Excellent location,good price very close to Metro station, close to grocery shop,and restaurant, clean , friendly staff. Only thing is they forgot our morning call to the airport.

The location is excellent - just minutes from the train station. However, the value for the money is not quite there. Also, our room was on the street side so there was a lot of noise throughout the night making sleep difficult (even with ear plugs in).

去過很多歐洲的小旅館都沒電梯，這間有個小型電梯，可容納兩人加行李。地點是在羅馬火車站步行只需2分鐘(我們花了15分鐘才找到，哈哈)非常方便。由酒店步行去最遠的聖彼得廣場約需30分鐘。河的右岸全是15~20分鐘步程，如果拿著大行李剛到羅馬，這是不錯的選擇。唯獨是早餐的選擇不算多。

Проживали в отеле 8 ночей в мае. Отель рядом с вокзалом Термини, до которого метров 100-150, и конечной остановки многих городских автобусов. Плохо это или хорошо - личная оценка для каждого туриста. Нас не напрягало, даже наоборот было удобно. Кроме того, в здании вокзала есть продовольственные супермаркеты и торговый центр. Про отель - расположен на 4-5 этажах большого дома, на других этажах тоже отели. Лифт есть, хотя и один на всех. "Свежий" ремонт и мебель, ежедневная смена полотенец, своевременная уборка. Сейф в номере за депозит. Если кому-то актуально - бесплатные TV-каналы показывают плохо, их мало, русскоязычных нет; платные - есть. Wi-Fi в номере - за доплату, сигнал хороший. В номере есть кондиционер и минибар (минихолодильник). Полы в номере - керамическая плитка или камень, очень холодные. Завтрак нормальный, обычный континентальный. В целом можем рекомендовать отель для проживания.

Отличный отель недалеко от центрального ж/д вокзала с кондиционером, мини-баром. Удобные кровати. Полотенца меняли каждый день. Остался доволен.

Fantastisk god service. Nyrenoveret og meget flot standard. Meget personlig og venlig betjening af hele personalet. Perfekt beliggenhed i forhold til bus, tog og metro + sporvogn - med 3-dages transportkort til offentlig transport sparede vi en formue til taxi - som alligevel holdt stille det meste af tiden pga trafik. På ske og Rom er sikkert ikke den bedste kombination. Mange mennesker overalt og ændrede åbningstider mange steder men stadig et helt fantastiks ophold. Vi kommer tilbage - og helt sikkert til Scott Hotel Rome. Prisen var iøvrigt meget rimelig!

Kanonhotell med bra personal och jättefräscht renoverat. Det ligger väldigt många trappor upp men det fanns hiss. Dock när vi kom dit så säger dom att halva vårat sällskap får bo på ett annat hotell för att dom var "överbokade". Detta trots att vi bokat via hotels.com och fått bokningsbekräftelse och allting. Vi stod dock på oss och sa att då vill vi ha pengarna tillbaka. Då kämpade den lille mannen i kassan på och löste det så att vi fick bo som vi skulle! Så förutom det så var det kanon!
