Hilton Garden Inn Glasgow City Centre - غلاسغو

Very comfortable, room small but perfect, great shower, loved the light in the wardrobe, intend to do this at home! Would stay here again. Pretty good bar food, and great cocktails late in the evening.

Great location for SECC. Close to Glasgow city centre, Transport museum and Kelvin Grove Museum.

The staff at reception when arriving and leaving dont tell you there is a £5.00 charge for car park??

We stayed one night in December. The rooms were very small but clean and well maintained so all we needed. A taxi into central Glasgow was only £5.40 or £3.60 depending on destination so very convenient. Continental breakfast was quite expensive for area but always sets you up for the day before travelling again. The car park was very icy and no attempt had been made to clear it I would still recommend this hotel for short breaks.

Super hotel, service was good. Only complaint I was not informed when I checked in that I would be charge £ 5 to park my car overnight.

We booked the Mint because it was within easy walking distance of the SECC, and because of positive reviews by others on the site. I am happy to add to those! The room was comfortable and clean, the staff were friendly and the bar was buzzing on the night we were there. And it is very convenient for walking to the SECC! I would also recommend the India Quays restaurant on the opposite side of the road if you want to eat late after a concert. The food was fresh and different and the staff very helpful.

Fantastic location for SECC, staff friendly & helpfull. We had a lovely stay and would definatley stay again.

Perfect location for events a secc. Hotel very comfortable and very clean. Food good and staff friendly. This hotel is very busy and often fully booked so book in advance and be early for breakfast to avoid big waits.

Really impressed with the quality of this hotel. I hve driven past this hotel countless times and this is the first time I have actually stayed here. I was pleasantly surprised by how smart and well presented everything about this hotel was. Imac in every room is fantastic.

I stayed here for 2 weeks whilst travelling on business and found the hotel to be excellent. The location is great, close to the city centre but far enough away from all the hustle and bustle. The hotel is next to the SECC and has it own private car park which is charged at £5 per stay, very reasonable!! The hotel also has its own fitness room, restaurant and bar which are all excellent. The staffs are very friendly and service is of a high standard. The rooms I stayed in had an Apple iMac in which has Internet, TV, DVD & Radio integrated in it, with freeview & sky sports channels available. The hotel also has free wireless internet so I could connect with my laptop & iPhone. The rooms are modern and comfortably furnished. Overall I was pleased with the hotel as a base from which to work and could not have asked for anymore! I would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Glasgow!!

Great hotel. Room was a little small but as long as your not spending all your time in it, it's fine. We had a view overlooking the river which was nice. Breakfast was fantastic, highly recommended! I will certainly have no hestiation staying here again and would give it high recommendation.

I attended a conference for a week at the SECC. The hotel was very comfortable and convenient. I especially appreciated the large iMac in the room. The amenities were great as was the bed comfort. The bar offered a pleasant environment to have a drink with work colleagues and the food at the restaurant was delicious. The staff was helpful and friendly. The only downside to the hotel is that it is quite far from the city center. Would definitely stay there again for a conference, although it would not be the ideal location if I were to visit Glasgow for touring purposes.

Good hotel - well kept, nice rooms, very modern looking. Nice touches (apple TV, bathrobes) but no bath. Ask for a room away from the lift as it makes it very noisy (weird clicking noise). Good restaurant - good evening meal and fab breakfast.

Loved the view over the river from our room. Also enjoyed the mac computer in the room. Bed was comfortable but room was a bit small. City bus tour stop was right outside the hotel so perfect place for tourists to stay. We also lucked out when we discovered our car rental company (where we needed to pickup a car) was just down the street. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We were really happy with our accommodation at the Mint Hotel. The room was a bit small with two people, two big suitcases and other bags but it was comfortable, cheery and clean. Staff in reception and lounge/restaurant were really accommodating. Location is great for walking to City Center. Bonus to walk on the Clyde. We would stay again and recommend to friends. Lovely hotel had views over river and Arc bridge which lights up in the evening. Reception staff particularly Joanne was so helpful. Is about 20 min walk to shops, restaurants and bars but was only £4.80 in taxi. Maps from reception are useful. The Ibrox stadium is about 15 minute walk away. Breakfast was good. Definately will use this hotel again.

Bright, clean and modern hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely breakfast. Well located for riverside attractions. Good value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

All staff from girls at reception to waiters at breakfast very helpful and polite. Will def be staying there again.

Just a short bus or cab ride away from the city center (you can even walk if you're up to it), this hotel was a great find. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The hotel and room were clean and modern, and the iMac in our room was a really nice touch. My only compliants were: the bed was really hard; the towels were scratchy; and the only place you can fill your ice bucket is at the bar lounge (I'm American, I need my ice!).

The Mint Hotel was a comfortable clean hotel and we had a lovely room overlooking the river. My only negative comment would be that it was a good 40 minute walk into the city centre. We did purchase the 2 day sight seeing tour tickets and the bus stopped directly outside the hotel which was useful.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Mint Hotel in Glasgow. It was very convenient for a concert at the SECC (seriously, you can't get a more convenient location, it was no more than a 3 minute walk). It wasn't as conveniently located to the city center, but the walk there was only 30 minutes or so, and it is a pretty nice walk by the river. The room condition was good, having an imac in the room was really nice for skyping back home and looking up maps and all that. Staff was lovely, as was the dinner downstairs in the bar.

We stayed in the hotel for 1 night for my partners 30th and we loved it. Right next to the secc we will be back dtaying when were at concerts later this year!! defo worth the money

Hotel was great the only complaint we had was menu in Bar very disappointing. Not value for money, Drinks very expensive. I would recommend hotel to friend but i would not reommend the restaurant.

This hotel was very nice! Our double room was large with a view to the river. The iMac with free internet access was great for settling in and for planning the rest of our vacation. The hotel is right on the Glasgow hop on hop off bus tour, so it's a good hub for sightseeing as well. Would stay here again!

Stayed in a standard 'city' room for 1 night which was quite small but did not feel cramped at all. Extremely good use of space with nice little touches. Spotlessly clean, modern styled room. Note that they do charge separately for parking.

Have stayed here before and again found the hotel and the staff to be wonderful. The rooms are clean and really modern the position is a bit out of the centre but only a 10-15min walk. There is a small parking charge but it's well worth it and a fraction of the price for city centre parking, would highly recommend this hotel

we realy enjoyed our stay in the mint hotel glasgow and my wife was very pleased to find that you can supply gluten free bread. very pleased all round with the whole stay.

The hotel could not be faulted - friendly and efficient staff, comfortable bedrooms and good food. It was very convenient for our needs as we were attending a concert at the SECC.

The Mint hotel is located very close to the SECC which is very convenient when you come out of an event and just want to go back to the hotel. It is also easy to get a train from Central station to the SECC station and then it is a five minute walk to the hotel. It is is not so easy to access the west end of the city and we ended up taking a taxi..only £5 though. The hotel has a lovely location on the river next to the squinty bridge. There is a terrace, which would be a great place to sit and enjoy a drink if the weather is good. Our room was fine. Clean, comfy bed, apple mac and internet access. The bathroom was very small though so probably not suitable if you are a big person. We also had a fanatstic view over the river. The menu looked nice though we didn't actually eat there. Overall a very pleasant stay.

The view was pleasant but the room was quite small. There was a general lack of attention to detail which spoilt the experience. eg: There were 3 light globes blown in my room - which I pointed out to the room service attendant on the first night but nothing was done about it. The bathrobe had holes in it ! No one replaced the breakfast room service menu after the first night. My "queen sized bed" was actually two twin beds joined together (badly) so that there was a ridge down the middle of the bed. None of these things on their own would be cause for complaint but collectively they create a bad impression of the place and its service so I wont be returning or recommending it to others.

Once of the nicest, cleanest hotels during our working trip to Glasgow. Walking distance to SECC, theatres, restaurants and shopping. This was our third stay at the Mint and we will use it again if the need arises in future. It was competitively priced too.
