Villa Glori - روما

أحب كونه قريبا من الترام. سهل إيجاد محطة مترو للتجول بالمدينة. الغرف صغيرة نوعا ما. المصعد ضيق جدا نستطيع بالكاد أن نحشر أمتعتنا به. وفى اليوم الذى من المفترض فيه أن نغادر, تعطل المصد لذا كان علينا أن نحمل كل أمتعتنا على السلالم. الحوائط رقيقة و يمنكننا سماع شخص ما يصرخ أو يغنى بالخارج ( نعتقد بأنه كان شخصا من العاملين هناك ) هناك أيضا سلالم ضيقة تفصل غرفتنا عن الردهة الغريبة. ومع ذلك, نحب كون أن الإفطار متضمنا فى إقامتنا. بصفة عامة, إقامتنا هناك كانت متوسطة.

طاقم الإستقبال كانوا غير متعاونين و لديهم سلوك فظ.

هذا الفندق جميل. تمنيت لو أنه كان أقرب للمدينة, لكن المواصلات كانت مريحة. طاقم عمل رائع حيث كانوا متعاونين جدا. سأقيم هنا مجددا.

فندق جميل, يقع خارج صخب و ازدحام المدينة ولكن على بعد 5 دقائق فقط بالترام من وسط المدينة. الغرف و الفندق نفسه كانا متألقان و مزخرفان بشكل جميل. كان الإفطار جيدا أيضا.سأقيم هنا بالتأكيد مرة أخرى وأوصيت به بالفعل لأصدقائى الذين سيسافرون إلى روما قريبا.

يقع الفندق بالقرب من خط ترام Flaminio, و على بعد كيلومتر من Plaza di Popolo. إنه نظيف و مريح مع بوفيه إفطار لطيف. هناك رسوم على خدمة الواى- فاى, ولكن سعرها جيد بصورة مدهشة ولها إشارة قوية تناسب التحدث أو الفيديو شات. هناك القليل من المطاعم بالقرب منه, لكن السائحين من أمريكا أو آسيا قد يفاجأوا من المدى الذى تغلق فيه روما خلال أشهر الصيف. فى عطلة اسبوعية فى أغسطس, هناك مطاعم قليلة مفتوحة على بعد مسافة قصيرة سيرا ولا مغاسل ولا محلات ملائمة. العيب الوحيد فى راحة الفندق أن الغرف لا تمنع الضوضاء القادمة من المدخل, لذا فإن الذين نومهم خفيف ربما يستيقظون النزلاء الآخرين الذين بخارج الغرفة, خصوصا فى الصباح الباكر.

We had a great stay except that the WiFi was out the whole time we were there. The staff was good at communicating this. When I told Nicolas in the morning that I would need to use their computer when I returned later that night, he said he would arrange it. We got back so late that the third person was on duty and was unaware of the promise. He said "No, and we don't have second computer", actually semi-rude (I knew there was a second computer because had been told that was the one that I could use. I was able to use iot the next day to book a Milan hotel for that night but it was a bit stressful. Otherwise, all the rooms are small (I knew this before based upon reveiws), the stay was fine and the location right near the tram to Piazza del Popolo was great.

I travel alone so the hotel was just right for me clean small but comfy ,very helpful staff and easy access to all main sight s loved my stay and would certainly recommend villa glori

DO NOT DRIVE RENTAL CAR IN THIS AREA!! The streets are so narrow, many one-way, you might have to fight tickets because it's a restricted area (although tourists are allowed to drive there, tickets are automatically sent to all license plates). Did over 400E worth of damage to rental car trying to get to the hotel. Arrived after 2am and the man was very nice and even parked our car for us and took us to our room. Other than for driving the location was decent. Many restaurants nearby. Balcony overlooked several.

Villa Glori is a lovely little hotel on the edge of Rome. The staff were friendly and helpful (advising us not to buy the queue jump ticket for the vatican museum for example, even though they'd make some more money from it!) and breakfast was a good spread. There isn't a great deal around in the local neighbourhood as it's quite residential, but it's about a 20minute walk to the edge of the sights, 30minutes to the Vatican and about an hour to walk to the Colosseum, but for those who don't like to walk you can get a tram or bus too. Rooms are quite small (but ample) but overall, a great hotel!

Overall a good hotel with nice friendly staff. Room was a bit small but I have stayed in smaller and paid more money. The location is close enough to main tourist attractions, but it takes a bit of getting use to the Tram - Train service so check it out before you arrive. Location / area does not look very nice at first glance but there are a few nice nice places to eat and, also a couple of bars close by. Hotel and location not very suitable for young children.

Service and the people running the hotel are awesome.

The hotel is situation just 2 mins walk from the T2 tram station which in turn is 4 stops from the Flaminio Station and the tram was quite frequent. This was very convenient to getting to the various places. The hotel is very clean and well maintained, and the rooms were quite spacious. The bathrooms were adequately equipped and very clean. We stayed there for 4 nights and there was room service every day though the sheets were changed only one day...i gues that would be the norm.The breakfast was included, it was good but not a proper continental as you would expect. The area around the hotel is quite safe but there is nothing to see around the hotel. The reception was quite helpful with the queries. Overall it was a very good experience and I would definitely stay there again.

We spent three nights at Hotel Villa Glori. Overall it was fine and almost worth it's stars. Although beds were extremely hard and there was no help for that even if I asked. The hotel is situated a couple of kilometres away from city center but for us it was okay. It was easy to reach the city with a tram + metros and due to it's quiet neighbourhood we heard no sound of traffic etc. The area had also good + priceworthy restaurants/pizzerias which were growded with locals - nice! The staff was helpful, breakfast good.

Nice hotel not too far away from the city centre. Very friendly staff and everything worked fine.

Very good in all respects. Perhaps the bed was a bit hard for my taste, but all in all a very nice place a healthy walk from the city center. (Or a 1 euro ride on the tram.)

This hotel was superb, cannot fault it in any way. Decor charming, spotless, and very inviting. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. Set in a quiet leafy suburb of Rome, yet minutes from the centre by a number 2 Tram. Highly reccommend it to anyone visiting Rome.

What a fabulous hotel located in a local area of Italy. A little far away from the tourist area, but located a half block from a tram depot. I just have to mention that the breakfast was off the hook!

There are no wired ports in the room or anywhere in the hotel for internet access and the WiFi is a joke, don’t bother paying for it. Poor reception, continual disconnections and very slow. It is 2011 people, get your internet figured out.

We stayed here twice, one night on our way to Naples and Florence and then two nights again to see Rome. In all the hotel was comfortable but did not seem to be a 4 star hotel as advertised. The pictures are a little deceiving because the hotel is actually very small. The first time we were given a room that was extremely small. There was barely room for luggage for two people. The second time we had a bigger room although we paid the same. The rooms were a little old fashioned. The breakfast was nothing special. The location was convenient to get in and out of. The tram station was within minutes that takes you to the metro station and you can reach all the attractions from there. Rome metro is pretty cheap and hotel desk has tickets. The staff was helpful and everyone including bell boys spoke english. The cab fare from airport was 50 euros but depending on luggage you can catch a train to main terminal and then use the metro and tram to get to the hotel. I think a 3 star rating might be better for this hotel but it was still pretty convenient.

The hotel looks much better in the photos. I didn't have such a bad experience but the couple from England certainly did who were looking for breakfast which had been running low. I had to change rooms at midnight since it was then that I discovered that the TV and air conditioner didn't work. Not a real problem. Front desk changed my room. The problem was the attitude of the front desk in the morning. While I was checking out the couple from England started. I was looking for only the slightest of favors for the inconvenience of changing rooms at midnight. I was told "but it wasn't an inconvenience." Yes, not a real problem in the world but that's some response. Breakfast was good - I got there early. And the breakfast staff was helpful. Get what you pay for - a tiny, tiny room. There is a tram that runs from piazza del popolo and stops on the hotel's street. Be sure to know the stop thought - easy to miss. BUT IT'S DEFINITELY NOT FOUR STAR. It's just that there are better options that are closer to the Vatican and Spanish Steps. Those closer hotels would certainly be more convenient.

Although not right in the middle of downtown, the location of the hotel is good - take Tram 2 from Flaminio metro station and get off from Pze Manila. The free shuttle to town is unreliable.

I wouldn't recommend anyone this hotel for just the above two reasonss...but on top they charged us city tax while it was supposed to be already paid through hotels.com (no other hotel in our trip charged us any additional). Not a good experience.

Hotel states 10 miles from airport but the taxi fair was 50 euro and was not ten miles. The rooms were tiny but clean. Bed was very hard, after a day sight seeing you want a nice bed to sleep in, so sleepless night not good. Also they dont stock an iron and ironing board, as it is too dangerous? Using the internet also is expensive.

Staff was really nice and helpful. Location was not bad. Not in the city center but close enough. Building was clean and taken care of. Great breakfast in display, assortment and quality. The room was tiny.

Great friendly staff, and relativley close to all attractions via tram. Small but very cosy and totally adequate rooms, and a very nice firendly atmosphere. Would definitley stay there again

This hotel exceeded all our expectations with service, amenities and comfort. The beautifully decorated room led to a cute patio area and the bathroom had heated towel rack! The entire staff was so helpful, assisting us with booking a taxi to the airport early the following morning and providing us with complimentary shuttle service to the city center/sights which is about a ten minutes car ride. Our stay here was excellent and I would recommend it to anyone.

Receptionists were really helpful with city information and local's habits. Room was clean, and breakfast is outstanding. Even though breakfast is from 7 am to 10 am, sometimes you can get it afterward at no extra cost =). They have no iron in the room nor in the hotel.

The hotel was lovely and very classy. I liked that the hotel was out of the centre and the crowds. It was only 5 stops on the bus to the centre where you can get the open top bus all around Rome. The hotel was top class. The neighbourhood looks a little ropey, but it seemed quite safe when we were out for a mean. its just a bit 'down town'. The reception also sold bus and metro tickets.

Hotel was very clean and staff very helpfull. Room was very small and a bit away from the mail tourist area

This hotel is beautiful, the staff is very helpful and the the room was great, as well as the breakfast the next morning. The hotel is on the outskirts of Rome, but you can take a bus right around the corner, or you can walk a couple of blocks down to the subway which can take you to the key places of beautiful Rome. I highly recommend this hotel!

our stay in the hotel was enjoyable. the location is perfect for rome. it is away from the noise of the center however it is still only a 5 min bus journey away from the center of rome. the staff our very friendly also. i would stay in this hotel again if i go back to rome.

Hotel propre au calme dans 1 impasse et situé en dehors du centre mais bien relié par le tram. Il correspond à un 3 étoiles et non 4 car les chambres ne sont pas insonorisées du tout sur le couloir (jour au niveau des portes), la salle d'eau très petite avait 1 pomme de douche qui ne tenait pas et le wifi ne fonctionnait pas.

la camera singola molto piccola ma con bagno abb. grande. Ottima colazione, servizio e posizione vicino il tram - al centro in 5 minuti. Vicino Villa Borghese per correre la mattina, tranquilo si dorme bene!

Bra och tyst läge, nära till användbar lokaltrafik. Personalens angagemang på helt rätt nivå, ej för påstridig men alltid på plats. Mycket bra frukost. Stiliga rum, fina sängar. Obs lokalskatt på tre peng/pers o natt tillkommer!

O hotel vale o preço!

Hotel ben curato, personale molto gentile e disponibile, posizione strategica: vicino al centro, ma comodo per parcheggi (numerosi ed economici, con 4 € sosti un'intera giornata). Unica nota stonata la colazione: abbondante se arrivi presto, ma alle 9.40 (si può fare dalle 7 alle 10) ti devi accontentare del succo di frutta...

Hotel qui mérite bien ses 4 étoiles : personnel accueillant discret et disponible, chambre et salle de bain très propres, petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet très copieux.Un peu excentré, mais très bien desservi (tramway à 50m), restaurants à proximité.Rien à redire.Nous conseillons vivement cet hotel.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilft bei Fragen zum Sightseeing gerne weiter. Die Lage ist super, mit der Tram erreicht man das Zentrum in fünf Minuten oder man spart sich das Gedrängel einfach und läuft 15 Minuten. Das Frühstück ist auch gut, man findet alles was man braucht. Das einzige große Manko sind die Zimmergrößen. Angeblich sollte mein gebuchtes Doppelzimmer 21qm haben, wenn man großzügig ist waren es allenfalls 12qm( Badezimmer inklusive). Ich konnte die erste Nacht gar nicht schlafen, da unser Bett maximal 120m breit war und alles andere aber kein Doppelbett sein konnte. Das Zimmer insgesamt ist aber auch nicht viel breiter als das Bett wohlgemerkt. Am nächsten morgen schilderte ich mein Problem und uns wurde sofort ein größeres Zimmer zur Verfügung gestellt. Dieses war von der Größe her völlig angemessen und entsprach bestimmt den beschriebenen 21qm. Abgesehen von diesem kleinen Problem, war alles top. Die Sauberkeit, die Lage und das super freundliche Personal.

El Hotel esta bien ubicado pro que esta en una zona tranquila y segura, esta a una cuadra del tren ligero que en 5 minutos te deja en la terminal del metro para que vayas a cuaquier lugar. Muy limpio, instalaciones de primera y buena atencion.

Trevlig personal som engagerat hjälpte till med ens önskemål och fårgor. Bra frukost. Dock så var rummet 2.5*3m stort, och med en dubbelsäng intryckt där, så gick det inte ens att öppna resväskan på golvet.

Ich war jetzt für 5 Tage in Rom und habe mit meiner Schwester in diesem schönen Hotel übernachtet. Es ist sehr Zentrum nah, wir sind alles zu Fuss gegangen. Entweder am Fluss entlang oder Via Flamina immer gerade aus. Das Hotel ist sehr, sehr sauber, wir waren echt überrascht, sogar die Fensterklappen! Die Ausstattung ist einwandfrei und das Badezimmer hat alles was man braucht. Da es ein Stadthotel ist, ist es natürlich echt klein, die Zimmer sowohl auch das Badezimmer. Das hat uns aber nicht gestört, da wir ja nur zum Schlafen da waren. Das Frühstück ist ok, halt italienisch. Das Personal ist super freundlich, von Rezeption bis Zimmermädchen! Ich kann dieses Hotel wirklich sehr gerne weiterempfehlen!

Jag och mamma är supernöjda med hotellet. Allt var perfekt, personalen var hur snälla och hjälpsamma som helst. Hotellet ligger mycket centralt också, det tar endast max 5 minuter med spårvagn till stan och dessa spårvagnar går väldigt ofta. Frukosten var mycket god! Rummet var fint och rent. Rekommenderar verkligen det här hotellet!

Ett fint hotell med trevlig personal och lugnt läge.Nära till spårvagn om man inte vill ta en promenad till city.

O hotel fica a 5 min de tram do centro e do metrô ou cerca de 18min a pé. Taxi por volta de 15 euros da estação termini. Hotel confortável para os padrões de roma, com bom preço e café da manhã, bom custo benefício. Atendentes atenciosos. Restaurantes bons próximos ao hotel.

Boa estadia. Hotel localizado em área tranquila e próxima ao centro, bem servida de transporte público. Prédio bem cuidado, com bom atendimento pessoal. Quartos muito pequenos, porém bem equipados. O café da manhã ressente-se de frutas frescas. Creio que a classificação "4 estrelas" é ambiciosa.
