Excellent hotel, perfect location on high street, perfect condition inside the room, very nice personnel, everything is just fantastic except for one thing, no water boiler.

Very small and noisy. You can hear everything that's going on on the street. My husband and I could barely move on our little double bed and he joked that if they took one star off this "four star" hotel we'd have no bed. The bathroom was really uncomfortable too.

Upon arrival I presented my passport and said I had a reservation. I was not greeted by the woman at the reception desk and after she checked her computer and printed some papers, her only words were: 'sign here, here, and here' while presenting 3 forms and then 'you are on 210' and, finally, 'the elevators are down the lobby' (she forgot to mention to make a right and go through a double metal door, details details). To get a password for the wi-fi I had to call 3 times (she put me on hold the first time, didn't answer the second, and hung up without talking the third) and I had to go to get the info. A 4-star hotel should be more selective choosing the front desk personnel (as in, at least smile and be polite!).

within footsteps of the city center, but just one block removed so you can have a little peace and quiet. Hotel is excellent, clean, and nice staff. Room is very small, but consistent with European hotels - oh well.

This hotel is underpriced probably because Portugal's economy. Do yourself a favor and use this hotel. Location is great too! 12 Euros to the Airport and 10 Euros to Barrio Alto by taxi ! Win Win!

The Hotel itself was conviniently located on the Villa de la Reina and id down the block from the Gran Via Metro station. The hotel staff are very helpful and kind. The area itself is centrally located and busy and congested with tourist and is a central shopping hub. Many restaurants in the area and is walking distance to The plaza del Sol and El Corte Ingles shopping center. I would recommend this hotel in the future.

Take the train to Gran Via hotel is is across the street very close to the station. Walked to everything in Madrid Puerta del sol is 2min. Palace is 8 min. museums 10min. The hotel breakfast buffet was good lots of options pizza next door 24hr. mcdonalds across the street kfc 2 min. walk. Shopping is everywhere could bring an empty suitecase. Puerta del sol connects to all the sights fun place to be.

I was impressed by the room in the hotel, but i was kind of disappointed when they forgot to tidy the room......

it has the best location in madrid. however the room was small. only bed and bathroom, for a single male like me was ok cause all i needed is place to sleep and free internet. tv has few channels. locker is small. I would stay agan if i ever go to madrid.

Really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Right in the centre of Madrid.

Stayed there for a 2 night weekend in January 20,2012. We really enjoyed the location of this hotel as we quickly discovered it was within walking Distance from El SOL ( around 3-5 minute walk) and all the shops and restaurants. There is plenty to do around. Plus the subway station is a 1 minute walk literally. So Cheers for its location. Rooms are Small IMHO The Sofa bed its unconfortable. You can feel the metal strings, so try it before going to bed and request extra covers to get on top so you wont feel the metal rings of the small sofa mattress If paying for the Bed and breakfast option comes up being more than 15 bucks per person I would not get it. There are plenty of restaurants and places around to go and have a nice break fast

Location, service, and quality of hotel was great. On the Gran Via- which is one of the most popular streets in Madrid. Lots of shopping, resturants, and right next to Metro line. Walking distance to Puerto De Sol, Plaza Mayor, Plaza Santa Ana, and really great tapas resturants. My only complaint would be that the bed was really hard and the room was really small. Everything else was great. Would recommend.

Couldn't really fault it. Our triple room was a bit small for 3 adults but this is just nit-picking. A fantastic hotel!

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel but I had to change my room since my original room was very loud. The hotel is on a main street with a lot of action that continues until early morning. Once they moved me to an interior room, I was very happy. The staff is very nice and the hotel is well cared for.

Staff was extremely polite and helpful! Great location, close to everything! Would recommend and stay again! Clean, roomie, comfortable! Very pleased!

Hotel was excellent. Our room was very clean and comfortable the staff were very nice and helpful and the hotel was situated within walking distance to all main attractions. the buffet breakfast was also excellent. Could not fault it we would definitely stay again.

The staff at H10 Villa de la Reina were very helpful. The even held our bag while we travelled around for a few days. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The location was central to museums, plazas, and good food. The hotel is within walking distance to much of the downtown area and is right across from a metro stop. We had a very pleasant stay!

This hotel is nice, great location and I recommend the breakfast. The only thing is that my room wasn't ready when I arrived, but in overall was a great stay.

I recommend this hotel for its cleanliness and location, the only complaint is that the walls are very thin, so the comings and goings of others guests does not allow for a quite stay.

The hotel is situated very conveniently on Gran Via, which is almost like the Broadway of Madrid. Lots of shops, places to eat, etc. It's also right across the street from the Gran Via metro stop and a stone's throw away from Puerta del Sol. It's about a 15 minutes walk to the Prado and Parque Retiro. The hotel concierge was helpful enough. They got us a room facing the side street with a little balcony, which I think was better than a front facing room would have been. There's a lounge/ bar in the lobby, which was nice as well as a business center and free wifi both in common areas as well as the room. The room was clean & modern, but small, which is not that uncommon for European rooms. There was a desk w/ TV, closet space and the bed. Not much room to walk around. The bathroom was actually pretty spacious and the shower and amenities were well appointed. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the bed. The main issue was that it was too small. They say queen size, but it felt more like a full, which is kind of tight for 2 people. Overall, for the price we paid, I was pleased.

The hotel itself was good - nice and great location - easy 5-10 min walk to all shops and restaurants and tour buses. The room was clean and updated, and a good value for the price we paid. The only downfall was their internet was down during our stay, so we couldn't use the WiFi or the computers in the lobby. Other than that, impeccable service; great hotel! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a convenient location and a clean, updated room!

Excellent hotel for a 4 star, great location, staff friendly and helpful, fellow guests of an affluent and friendly nature. we had a triple room which was of a good size (the first room we were given was small-ish with brickwall for a view, in which we had to spend one uncomfortable night - however the staff changed our room on request without hesitation). Tip: walking past some of the double rooms, they did look a bit on the small side. It is worth paying a bit extra to get a dbl room with a pullout sofa-bed, to give you mor floor space. Bad-side: The AC was on hot air only, hence we had to open the window for air circulation, a bit of a nuisance. Resturaunt is small and buffet breakfast was limited but adequate. Travel Reason: Business + Leisure

The hotel was 4 star in all respects. Staff courteous and extremely helpful and spoke good English, large room and bath (especially liked separate dressing area), comfortable elegant furnishings, lovely balcony on Gran Via yet room was very quiet with almost no street noise, good neighborhood with easy access to sights, pleasant bar and lobby area, good value for the price. I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Madrid.

Otimo hotel, limpo e confortavel! Localizacao perfeita!

Ett bra hotell värt sitt pris. Dock kunde jag förvänta mig att handdukar som lagts på golvet byts ut och inte hängs upp fortfarande fuktiga. Sängarna var bekväma men hjulen under borde kunna låsas så att de inte far runt om man rör sig. Hotellets interiör är något sliten och det är dags för ommålning etc.

El hotel es de muy buena calidad.El desyuno es muy completo,esta cerca de todo y el personal es muy amable.seguramente lo recomiendo.

Me tomé un zumo de naranja del mini bar, y cuando me pasaron la cuenta me cobraron 12 euros. Un autentico robo. Ya sé que siempre ponen los precios en una lista, pero los clientes no solemos mirarlos por entender que deberían ser precios razonables y no lo que estais cobrando.

Rekomenderar verkligen denna hotell, ligger oerhört bra, personalen var hjälpsamma och vänliga som alla andra Madridbor. Rummen var rena och fräscha. Vi hade ingen frukost, men finns mycket runt där man handla mat. Lätt att ta sig till och från flygplatsen.

gostei bastante do hotel, bem localizado, excelentes codições, bom peq almoço. quem ficar com o quarto virado para a rua traseira pode ter incomodo com o barulho da recolha de lixo durante a noite. as camas tem rodas que se nao tem travão pode ser chato... mas muito satisfeito no geral com tudo o resto, recomendo

Nosotros reservamos la habitación pequeña y realmente responde a su nombre. La cama es de 1,35 y apenas hay hueco para dejar la maleta.Para 1 persona no está mal, pero quizás para 2 sea mejor la habitación doble, que es más grande. El hall del hotel está bien. Cuenta con zona de bar con televisiones donde se pueden ver los partidos de fútbol y tomar algo. La atención en general es buena y la zona del desayuno no está mal.

Erinomainen hotelli, palvelu, huone, aamiainen ja sijainti keskellä mukavaa kaupunkia. Voi suositella vaativimmallekin asiakkaalle.

Note positive: Bell'albergo situato in straordinaria posizione centrale da cui raggiungere, anche a piedi, numerose zone della città oltre ad essere a due passi dalla stazione metro di Gran Via. Varia ed abbondante la colazione, buone condizioni di tenuta dell'hotel e personale molto gentile. Note negative: Camera troppo piccola per essere una standard, letto stretto (non corto) e con le ruote, per cui molto mobile. Pur essendo febbraio e con una temperatura esterna che di notte si aggirava a zero gradi, stanza molto calda anche con i riscaldamenti spenti. Doccia mattutina con acqua appena tiepida dovuto alla contemporaneità della stessa attività in tutto l'hotel. Meglio aspettare qualche minuto oppure optare per un'altro momento della giornata.

Kamers waren gedateerd, wel netjes maar oud. We hebben na 2 nachten NIET geslapen te hebben ivm geluidsoverlast uitgaanspubliek een andere kamer gevraagd en ook wel meteen gekregen!! De medewerkers zijn wel allemaal top!!
