Hampton Inn Newberry Opera House - نيوبيري

We have been enjoying Hamptons at various locations and find them to be always well-maintained and comfortable. The downtown location was very convenient for us, and the breakfast was varied each day and good.

The stay was very comfortable and comforting. The staff was wonderful and extremely helpful. We were in Newberry for a funeral service. It was a tense time, but the staff was very comforting and understanding. Kudos to Deborah Land in particular whose smiling face and friendliness was present during a very sad time. She respectfully reached out and her presence was much appreciated. Thank you for a very nice stay.

Jessica at the desk is great! Bedding very comfortable. I hear renovations are in the future.

Everything was great, especially the breakfast, the hostess was wonderful. The beds and linens are the best. In room 303, there was a little bit of mold in the shower and the television did not work.

Most positive was the convenience to locations in and about town. Room was jammed with furniture to the point it was hard to sit down. A/C hard to adjust for comfort, especially at night when in bed covered with a heavy comforter, either too hot or too cold. Suggest a moderate blanket vice comforter. Bathroom and closet small, cramped.... Back into the commode and rest your arm on the toilet paper roll. Low water pressure in shower and sinks.

Great stay! Clean, Friendly staff, what can I say? Great experience. Breakfast is a APlus!

The hotel was clean and well kept. It is right next to the Opera House and adjacent to the small downtown shopping area. The local bar tender in the small Irish bar next door is great and the shopping was fun. Definately a great destination for a quite weekend outing.

Everything was perfect, from friendly check in to terrific breakfast in the morning.

Everything very good...except we went to breakfast at the end of the time period - but no beyond the time period...and the waffle mix was at the end, the eggs were all gone and the cut up fruit was at the end of the batch..

We stayed here during the Thanksgiving holidays. The front desk personnel were pleasant and the breakfast was very good. One morning we had make your own waffles, ham, omlets, a variety of pastries, cereals, yougurt and bagels. One warning- if you stay here during a holiday- room cleaning is suspended, extra towels, etc are available at the front desk, but no one will come to refresh your room, make up beds, etc. It is located in a very good location, close to restaurants and shops.

I have to say that I've never been treated the way I was this past weekend, and that amounts to a very positive statement for the Hampton Inn staff. They were great, from handling my late arrival over the telephone to providing us everything we needed (including a bottle opener!). The hotel is clean, and the mattresses are comfortable. Everything else you'd expect from a top-notch hotel was there. But most important, to me and my family, was the friendly service we received from the hotel staff. From now on, I won't stay anywhere else on our trips to visit the in-laws. Somebody mentioned a train when I was reading reviews earlier. You can hear a train pass by from the hotel occasionally, but it's fairly quiet. There's no rumbling, and the whistle isn't loud enough to wake you up.

We loved staying here. It was located close to the historic Opera house and within walking distance downtown Newberry.

The Inn is in the centre of Newberry, but all town-centre restaurants close on Sunday. However, reception advised that Hampton guests can claim temporary membership of the sports club where we had a good meal without a two mile drive. The Opera House Sunday afternoon concert had just finished when we got there but their staff gave us a private guided tour. We think the Inn and the town did their best to make our stopover enjoyable

The Hotel was great!

My toddler daughters and I enjoyed the outdoors pool and the breakfast bar. Hotel was clean but did have a moldy smell on the first floor.

Very comfortable hotel room. Everything was clean and comfortable. I would stay there again.

The Hotel is located near town restaurants, shops, etc. that are walking distance. Clean & neat.

one of the best hotels i have stayed in in the US. it was a great place in such a lovely little town.

Nice downtown hotel away from the interstate ... pleasant staff and comfortable rooms. Right across the street from the historic Opera House and the charm of downtown Newberry. Walk a few blocks and go by C.T. Summer's Hardware Store (nearby) and see an actual Nobel Prize for Physics ... plus the store has been seen on "American Pickers" on History Channel ... it is a museum in itself!

My husband and I were here overnight for a nearby wedding. Hotel staff was friendly and the room was fine , nothing fancy, but nothing terrible either. Breakfast was good with lots of variety.

Fairly standard fair for Hampton Inn, but it is a good choice for me in traveling as I know what to expect from the room, the amenities and the breakfast.

Love this hotel! Just stayed at a 3 1/2 star Hilton a couple of weeks ago, and this hotel was way better. Not sure why it's only 2 1/2 stars. Ate at a restaurant called Fusion about a mile away with Thai and Japanese food that was AMAZING. Also the hotel's continental breakfast was great. So again, Love this hotel! Worth every penny plus some. Can't wait to go back!

If you do not mind the high noise level at every hour of the day and night from a train engine just a block away, then this is a nice place to stay. Employees very nice.

Very nice room (it even smelled nice), terrific location (across the street from the Opera House), friendly staff and great breakfast . . . all at a great price! I highly recommend this hotel!

Anything we say at this juncture would simply not do justice. The Hotel was an excellent value; very clean, well staffed, and very inviting. The pricing is superb for the location and comfort. When we return to Newberry, there is absolutely no reason to search for anywhere else to stay!

I got in later than I expected but had no problems with check-in. The staff was great and very helpful in answering all my questions. It was a very nice room, good location for me, and the morning breakfast area was kept clean and well-supplied. I would definitely stay here again.

This is located at the end of Main street across from the Oprah House in a nice old town with storefront shops and a couple of resturants. Quiet location but away from the newer shopping areas that have been built up as you approach the town from the freeway. Everything about the hotel is very nice and comfortable. It is a good place to stay and the second time we have stayed there in a year.
