All the hotel staff were very kind and helpful

The people who worked at the hotel were very friendly and the service was excellent.

This was a horrible stay. I had people here doing business and they were moved 3 times because of AC problems, once in the middle of the night. I was not given any allowance on room rates because I paid through Hotels.com. I will never put anyone that comes to St. Louis in this hotel again. Location is awesome, but the manager didn't even come out tochat with me about the issues when I was trying to resolve this. Not happy about it all.

We always try to find a Crowne Plaza hotel because we love their beds...so comfortable! This hotel is older and is going through a remodel. The price was right and the breakfast was wonderful surprise! Special order omelets..yum! We'll be back...

The room was very small. It was supposed to be a non-smoking room but the room smelled and I suspect it was from cigarette smoke. And the bed was not that comfortable.

I have three young boys. They love it. This may come across as a business hotel, but this is a hidden gem for families. It's close to Forrest Park, close to a Metro, close to great restaurants, and has a great indoor/outdoor pool area that my kids love. We'll be back!

We had a wonderful 3 days family visit.

Everything was great! We were even treated to a breakfast buffet! Delicious! And, they do still accept pets! A must with us!

Overall, I would say that I had a good 7-day stay. The weekend was the noisiest period of my stay. One would think that an older hotel would have better sound muffling walls. However, this was not the case. Between sounds coming from the room next to me, the noise in hall was very extremely loud with doors slamming and kids screaming. Other than that I was comfortable, great bed! The breakfast was, but after a few days, it was tiresome.

Very clean and comfortable room. We only stayed for one night but I can tell that the service is pretty good. They gave us free breakfast voucher at check-in which was listed as 10 dollars at hotels.com while we were booking the hotel. I don't know why the website tried to charge money for free breakfast (or why the breakfast was free). They have great breakfast buffet. They also have free shuttle service (you only give tip to the driver) to close areas. So, we didn't have to take a cab anywhere. If I ever go to St Louis again (which I doubt), I would definitely stay at Crowne Plaza again.

we enjoyed the stay over here. it is close to lot of the attractions nea by that palce. Surely I would like to stay in this group hotels in future.

Whether I'm in town for business or pleasure, Crowne Plaza is my hotel of choice. It's comfortable and reasonably priced and perfectly located. I enjoy Clayton and the nearby Central West End, but it's also conveniently located with highway access for other destinations. The staff is extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. The only thing I'd change is to add a minibar!

A person could not ask for a nicer hotel. Everything about it was nice, clean, well organized and convenient.

Close to the train, which makes it easy to get around St. Louis. Friendly Staff. Easy Access to Stocktrade Arena

We were attending an event in downtown STL and stayed outside of town at the Crown Plaza as I am not fond of staying downtown. It was so worth the 10 minute drive. Hotel and staff were great and I loved the location. I will stay there again anytime I am in the area. My children loved it as well!

my stay at crown center in st louis was great it was the second time we ( my daughter and I ) stayed there staff was very plesant and helpful rooms were kept clean would highly recomend it to friends and family

I'm a stickler for bathroom cleanliness and it was clean but the floor definitely needed a re-grout and seal (did not feel comfortable walking barefoot in there). Otherwise, nice hotel. Helpful, friendly staff. Great location (we were there to visit the St Louis Art Museum in Forest Park, plus it was only a couple of blocks from some quaint neighborhoods for a quiet evening stroll). Nice restaurant/bar with decent breakfast buffet (with made-to-order omelets and waffles, go for the waffles; they're mini-belgian).

Room is showing it's age bit overall fine.

The location of this hotel was perfect-terrific neighborhood for walking and restaurants and a short drive time to great shopping in Clayton and University City. The hotel staff was very responsive to our requests/needs.The breakfast buffet was excellent. Indoor parking added to the wonderful amenities.

First let me say that I have a background in the hospitality industry and have owned several lodging properties over the past 20 years. We booked a room at the Crowne Plaza in Clayton, Missouri with short notice through Hotels.com. Our reservation was based on information on Hotels.com web site that rated the property at 3.9 out of 5 stars. We saw a few negative comments suggesting that the property was being remodeled so we understood that the property was older but appeared to have some rooms that had been remodeled. As such, we requested a remodeled room and were placed in room 815. Check-in process was swift and handled well. Parking is good in the adjacent parking strucutre. When we reached the room, our pleasant experience ended. Room was not well maintained and had significant maintenance isssues including wall paper that was falling off he walls, HVAC unit with the door falling off, thermostat that was falling off the wall, paint on the carpet and cove base, dated furnishings that were scuffed and window coverings that were visibly dust covered. Further, the room had a heavy perfume odor that was clearly intended to cover whatever the odor was in the room. Since we were traveling withour teenage daughter, we requested a roll-away which was promptly delivered. However, it was in poor condition and clearly beyond its economic life. Rollaway mattress was lumpy and I could feel the springs coming through the cover. Our reservation was for 3 persons, there were only two bath towels...no bid deal. We requested additional towels that were delivered after we left the room for dinner. Towels were thrown on the bed and were stained and ragged. I am not a premadonna and it takes a good deal to get me to complain but I expected more from Crowne Plaza. This property should be directly competing with the Omni and Ritz Carlton that are comparably priced. However, the quality of maintenance in this property is, in my opinion, something I would have expected in an economy c

We stayed 3 nights and the bathroom floor was not swept either day. (we dropped a soap wrapper under the sink and it remained there the whole time.

a very nice experience for our short stay..perfect location, many fine choices of casual or formal restaurants located in walking distance and easy accessibility, exceptionally nice room, very comfortable beds and linens, nice details, over all very very positive. would stay again on our next St.Louis visit

The room was better than a previous stay, but you have to get an execuitive room just to get that which was a bit pricey in my opinion. Anyway the breakfast is great that comes with it and the rooms are much cleaner and nicer than the regular rooms.

Very reasonable price and full service too. Free wireless internet everywhere, complimentary parking and breakfast, easy access to highways, what else could you want?

We stayed here for a business trip. The event was at a nearby hotel, but we stayed here because it was a little less money. Compared to what we would have paid at the other hotel. It is good enough that we would use again for business trip.

I stayed here before and was in a better room on the 6th floor, but this go around the 3rd floor rooms were really older. They were doing construction to the floor where we could not get to the garage and had to take a ride around the front. The breakfast was excellent and they also had a decent dinner menu. And overall I was just there to sleep for a business trip and I acomplished that.

Room was great- good sixe, great bed and the in room coffee was also good. A little confusing getting aroundthe hallways and parking deck etc.... but everyone working there was nice and helpful.
