Hampton Inn Ft. Lauderdale City Center - فورت لوديردال

Hotel was a good choice for overnight stay before cruise. Only complaint, they offer a free ride to the cruise line but didn't tell me that it was only for 2 per room. I therefore had to pay an additional $7.00 fee. I don't like hidden fees, especially when I booked it for 3. Breakfast was ok as well.

It was for a 21st Birthday celebration....The hotel was a perfect location for the Downtown Fort Lauderdale area... Short cab ride to all the bars. The front desk person was extremely helpful to answer the questions we had and give us a few suggestions! If you're coming to Downtown Fort Lauderdale, this is a great place to stay. Very close by, very clean, and the staff couldn't be better! I stay here whenever I know it's going to be a long and crazy night... It's worth it!

Good Stay. Surprised by Daily Parking Fee upon check-out.

My stay was great,we even stayed an extra night.

Stay was fine. Hampton Inns, for the cost, are always an excellent value. They normally don't disappoint.

The customer service upon check out was our first disappointment. After reviewing our bill, we were charged for a movie that was not ordered. I asked the clerk to verify the charge, I told him we did not order any movie and asked him to remove the charge. He said he could not and there was nothing he could do. There was no manager on staff to resolve the problem. The second thing is, when booking this room, no where does it mention a parking fee of $12.00. Close to the port for pre-cruise stay, no restaurants deliver to that location, but bar apps are OK.

After driving 17 hours, we arrived at 7 a.m. and were allowed to check in. We were also offered breakfast, which was okay. Breakfast next morning was much better. We have driven to Ft. Lauderdale for a cruise. After a quick nap, we caught the free shuttle outside the front door, very convenient, and enjoyed some of Ft. Lauderdale's sights, sounds, and sunshine. This was our second stay at this hotel, and when we cruise again from Ft. Lauderdale, we'll probably stay here again. The only problem we encountered was the free shuttle didn't leave as early as we wanted, so we booked our own ride for a reasonable price.

Great looking over all, rooms, breakfast & clean. Location not great but hotel is great for the $$. I would book again.

the hotel was very clean, very well maintained and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed only one night before taking a cruise, the hotel is close to the port and a free shuttle is very to the port was great.

Met all our expectations. Asked for early checkin and the room was ready. Close to restaurants and shopping. Service was great.

I love this hotel. Only had one issue. I had come back very late at night only to find they had moved me to another room without even asking me. My things were left in lost and found and no one even knew where they were, they had to search for them. Not happy at all with this treatment but the hotel itself is very nice and as all Hampton Inns have the very best beds!

We just needed a place to stay the night before our cruise. The Hampton had a free shuttle to the ship, which worked well. We had a bite in the bar. They were short handed, but we were on vacation and didn't care. Free breakfast was a little cool, but they had a microwave so I just zapped my eggs and bacon,no problem. I expected the decor to be more in "Florida" colors. While not worn, I wasn't expecting to be awash in so much avocado. Sort of an art deco thing going on. Would stay again. The neighborhood was "sketchy". I would not choose to walk around exploring.

It was wonderful. They clean the duvet covers with each guest and have the multiple sized mirror for us oldies to see better. Was a very nice experience.

Stay was good but I had understood that they had airport pickup and they did not. However, I did use their cruise shuttle, very nice.

The room was good and the service was good. The shuttles that they advertise were not free. Breakfast was a complimentary hot and cold with good selection. This is a downtown neighborhood near the college. The proximity to the Riverwalk and the water taxis (4-6 blocks) was a great discovery.

Stayed here for 1 night while visiting family member in hospital. After driving 12 hrs to get here and arriving at 930pm, we were told that there would be an additional $12 parking fee which was not disclosed prior to checking in. Room was great and very comfortable. Breakfast was the usual Hampton Inn breakfast but ran out of items at 9:30. There wee numerous teams there for an event. After being told that items were coning out, they brought out a few pieces of each item that was empty. Needless to say, those items were quickly taken and my kids were left without some of the items they wanted. The breakfast staff was not too friendly and seemend to be over worked. Immediate surrounding area was a little "sketchy" and was glad that the parking lot was gated.

This was a great hotel to stay at. It is only 10-15 minutes away from the airport and cruise terminal. We loved having free internet service, a free 'hot' breakfast, free shuttle service to the cruise terminal and free parking when we returned from our cruise and had rented a car. The people that we encountered at the front desk and at the food area were all very friendly. The room was clean and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Fine, except my pre-paid reservation through hotel.com could not be found and I was left standing in the lbby for a while so it could be found. That took 15-20 minutes.

The bed was definitely uncomfortable. Mattresses might be old and need to be changed. Ceiling in shower was dripping over the shower head when water was turned on. Air conditioning was unable to be controlled manually and was off for long periods of time. We called down to the front desk and did not get an answer after 7 rings. Wish our stay was better, Ian Orlikoff

We arrived early on a Monday morning after a cruise. At 10 am when we went to the registration desk, the 3 rooms we had prepaid were all ready for us on the 8th floor. There is a free "Sun Shuttle" that took us to the Water Taxi and atour of the Intercoastal Waterway. The shuttle loops every 15-20 minutes. The complimentary hot breakfast, excepting the eggs, was great. The closest restaurants are a 10-15 minute walk. Rooms were large and clean, staff was helpful.

would liked to have had some shuttle for restaurants since they were not close.

The stay was comfortable, however there is nothing around to see or do. Cost $25.00 from Airport. "Hotel does not provide shuttle from Airport"

The people were accommodating. Great buffet and shuttle service. Good for 1 night pre-cruise. Not great for family with kids but no car. Tough to find dining options and no delivery to hotel.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is relatively conveniently located in downtown Lauderdale, however due to the neighborhood you still have to drive wherever you go as I would not suggest walking there after dark. The rooms were on the smallish side but clean and adequate. Bathroom could have been larger and more modern. Overall not bad though.

This hotel was very nice, the staff were friendly and I enjoyed my stay there. There were also opening up a small bar in the hotel while i was there. The worst part about the hotel was the area, although you were close to Las Olas BLVD, the road the hotel was not to be desired, right across the street had a boarded up school and near that had a parking lot where many homeless people would sleep. Besides that I like the hotel.

Breakfast was awesome. Cable in the hotel only had 4 channels. Told front desk about the problem and the maintenance guy said he would contact them. Two and a half days and only 4 channels. They didnt get back to us on a solution. And Hampton supposedly prides itself on 100% customer satisfaction. Not this time.

Liked the room and the lobby. I would stay there again for sure. Comfortable bed and a nice bathroom.

I have stayed at this hotel before and always had a good experience. This time, not so much. My room was never cleaned and I had to call the front desk to have them come and take care of it. My AC also stopped working and had to have it checked out. ;The location is execellent but now the neighborhood is not so good and security in the hotel has increased for the safety of the guests.

Morgan at the front desk was great! We even had the poor Maintenance Man come to the room at 9pm because we couldn't figure out the Air Conditioner. ATTN FUTURE GUESTS: If you can't get the A/C to come on, flip the switch UNDER the unit that is under the window. Then look BEHIND YOU and there is a regular thermostat on the wall for climate control! It took us 30 minutes to figure it out! Everything else was terrific.

I go on plenty of business trips and after a stressful day you just want to come back to a comfortable, clean, good looking hotel room. I got that experience at the Hampton Inn. Plus they had a full breakfast and to-go bags in case you couldn't stay for breakfast. It was a very thoughtful and pleasant environment. Location was a bit "cutty" (i.e. in the cut i.e. somewhat randomly placed in the their developing downtown) but still safe and accessible.
