London Lodge Hotel - لندن

Two nights stay, 2 adults in Room 11 with TINY twin beds (feet hanging over the end). Spotless sheets/towels BUT the nylon throw on bed had dried blood on inside. I left it pulled back so it was visible but it wasn't changed.The overall appearance of room was so disappointing, it looks dingy, in need of update, the net at window looked like it had never been washed. Like the website picture but 20 years later. Great power shower but 2nd morning water was barely lukewarm. Staff VERY friendly though!

My Mother and I found London Lodge to be a delightful place to stay on our short visit to London. The Staff couldn't have been friendlier. The breakfast was perfect. And the room was very nice. We'd happily stay there again.

Bus stop and subs are a short walk away and is also in a "fancy" neighborhood. Recommended.

I stayed recently at this hotel and first impressions were very good but I had to ask to be moved due to the horrendous drainage smell in the bathroom, staff were apologetic but unfortunately they were fully booked so couldn't move me. I think they shouldn't rent this room(no.5) to anyone until they sort it out! Breakfast was average.

Close access to the tube station and bus stops. Good selection of restaurants, grocery stores and banks in the area. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were comfortable and very quiet. I definately will stay there again.

If you just need a place to sleep and shower that's convenient to a lot of things, London Lodge is ideal. It's just a quick walk from the Earl's Court tube stop, and in a decent part of Kensington. I was also able to walk to the V&A in about ten minutes. The front desk and restaurant staff were friendly and helpful, and apologized profusely for the fire alarm testing that was going on (for the record: the system works quite well). Breakfast was a bit meh - lacking, even for a continental breakfast, and the tomato that came with my English Breakfast was a peeled, tinned roma that had been heated up. Not what I was expecting. Dinner was another story - I was really too tired to figure out someplace to go, so I had the pork collar and chips from Stephanie's, and it was really delicious. My room was a single/twin bed, and incredibly small, but quiet, clean and perfectly adequate to my needs. If I were to stay there longer than a few days, that room might get claustrophobic, but was perfect for a two-night stay. I would stay there again, and definitely recommend it to others.

This is a pleasant hotel in a nice, quiet neighborhood, but it could use an upgrade. The staff are helpful.

This was a great little hotel, only a few minutes walk to the tube and bars, cafes, etc. We were pleasantly surprised with the good value of this hotel. Great place for the price we paid.

We had a very pleasant and friendly "accueil" when we arrivend. The only thing is that the room was very small.

Staff friendly, hotel conveniently located. Small and a little cramped, and the carpets had a tired look about them. Bed was comfortable but the best was the shower which was powerful. Wonderful after a long day in London.

n arrival at this hotel, we found the staff friendly and accomodating to our needs. My daughter and I were visiting London to take in a show together with my grandaughter. The staff had prepared a little bed for my grandaughter together with a soft toy to comfort her at night (a nice little touch). Room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely use this hotel again. Hotel was not too far away from the Earls Court tube.

The staff at this hotel was very friendly and helpful. The room was bigger than most you can get at this price in London. There was a lovely breakfast included in the price. It was in a very nice, quiet residential neighborhood and not too far from restaurants and the Underground. However, it could use some updating because things looked old and kind of dirty. Our shower head fell off the first time I used it and there was lots of mildew in the shower. We moved to a hotel called The Cromwell in Kensington after this (for the same price) and although it was cleaner and newer the room was very much smaller and the staff more unfriendly.

We loved being able to walk so quickly to the tube, pubs and restaurants. My son loved seeing the fancy cars parked on the street out front. Its not a business traveler's hotel, as the service is charming but not oriented toward a business schedule.

Nice little hotel on a wuiet off-street between Earl's COurt and Kensington High. Convenient to Tube and busses. Plenty of shopping/food close-by. The LLH is a great deal for the money. Rooms are fair sized by London standards, clean, and comfortable. Very quiet area. My wife and child were more than comfortable. Great continenal breakfast and Full English in hotel. Small hotel with small staff meant personalized, and very pleasant, service - almost like a B&B.

Loved this small hotel. The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful, and the room was a bit on the small side but comfortable and quiet. Lovely tiled bath, and warm despite the chilly temperatures outdoors. Great breakfast every day. The location is in walking distance of the Natural History Museum and Kensington, also the Tube was close by. Lovely neighborhood and pleasant street and area. Really made our week in London a treat.

Decor is basic and the rooms aren't huge, but you won't regret booking here if you're on a limited budget. Location is great, the hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Earl's Court tube stop. Easy access to sights downtown, the trip to/from Heathrow is couldn't be easier: ~35 min and £4.20 on the Piccadilly line and you're right at the terminal. Earl's Court has lifts straight to the Piccadilly platform, no need to brave stairs with a suitcase. Also convenient to Kensington Gardens (10 min by foot), great for running. Neighborhood is very safe, the Metropolitan Police have a station right up the street. Between Earl's Court and the area towards Kensington there are a decent number of pubs, cafes, restaurants -- most decent, a few good, but plenty of choices for a drink at the end of the day. Booking on hotels.com includes continental breakfast which is okay, nothing special, but you can also upgrade to a hot breakfast for £5. Don't expect anything too sophisticated in either case, but it's definitely decent and well-portioned -- a good value for the money. There are other options in the area if you prefer. But where London Lodge really shines is it staff, some of the friendliest hotel staff I encountered on my trip. The clerk at the front desk showed me to my room on arrival, the breakfast staff served tea, coffee, toast with unflappable smile, and the staff genuinely seemed interested in helping me to make the most of my stay in London.

We liked this hotel, what impressed us the most (especially for London!) was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They were extremely 'on the ball' with any request. Our only dissapointment was that they furniture in the hotel rooms was outdated and old. We wanted a double but only twin was available, so we pushed together the beds. However, this was an upgraded room, to executive. We didnt think the hotel presented great value for money. If the rate was cheaper I would not have had expectations for a more 'swishy' room as they appear on the website. The included breakfast was very basic - yogurt, cereal and toast with one tiny croissant only.

Room clean and tidy. Z-bed for daughter very uncomfortable. Adjoining property being refurbished at time of stay which meant building noise. Did not appreciate being woken at 7.30 by cleaner trying to clean room.

Room size is as expected for hotels in European capital cities - not as tiny as many, but no suite. Bathroom exceptional quality and size for hotels like this, which usually have some ancient shower with cracked tiles. Street noise about what you'd expect in the center of a big city. Location very convenient and safe.

This hotel is very clean and comfortable. I was made very welcome by the friendly staff. My room was not a bad size (for London!) and very clean. The only issue I had was the TV - very small, limited channels and bad reception. Nice power shower in batchroom. Dining area again very clean. Breakfast was fine (and included in price) - cereals, juices, toast, croisants, fruit, yoghurt. In summary, I was pleasantly surprised by the London Lodge and wouldn't hesitate to go back again.

Bottom Line Folks: This is a boutique hotel. The rooms are small, like most in London. The bathroom was updated and larger than most in London. The subway is just a few blocks away and very convenient to ALL lines. The continential breakfast is OK. - enough to get by. They have cereal, oatmeal, baby croisants, and toast. Great location and Good buy for London. Safe location. Subway stop is Earl's Court. Bed was soft, but you should be dead from walking around all day...Front desk was very helpful, but understand it is a small, local hotel. These employees play more than one role. I enjoyed my stay and it was very quiet and safe. Thanks

This is a real gem for the money in what otherwise is a pricey city. The rooms are a little small but adequate and neat. The bathroom is a good size and neat. The location is outstanding. It is on a quiet side street so sleeping after a hard day of sightseeing is easy. It is also only a short walk to the Earls Court tube station and buses run nearby also. The hotel has a nice restaurant, and there are several other good restaurants and pubs within easy walking distance. The free continental breakfast was varied and plentiful. If we were to visit London again, we would stay here.

This is a very nice small hotel on a quiet street that is close to a tube station and eating establishments. Cont breakfast was very good and all staff were very cordial and helpful. Only two negatives; size of double bed for two people (probably common in London) and very slow computer for email use in lobby. Bring your own laptop if this is important. For the money, this was a great hotel and I would recommend it highly. If we came back, we would stay here again.

2011年年末から2012年年始まで5泊6日しました。 アールズコートの駅からは足の遅い私でも5分強で歩けますし大きな通りから1本入っているので車通りも少なく静かな環境でした。　 アールズコートに宿泊するのは3度目ですが一番のお気に入りHOTELになりました。　 特別サービスが良いとかではないのですがスタッフがみんな笑顔で英語のまるで話せない私にも息子を通訳にして親切に話しかけてくれます。　日本人の宿泊客は我が家だけでした。 シャワーのお湯が出なくなってしまって気付いたのが夜中だったのでフロントに連絡するのもと1月1日の朝にお湯が出ないことを伝えましたがあちこちに連絡を取ってくださって夕方にはお湯が出るようになりました。 大型スーパーTescoにも徒歩10分位で行けるのでWALKERSのポテチもお安くゲットできます。ロンドンの行くと必ずお土産で買ってくるので空港や駅の売店で買うよりも全然お安くTescoで買えます。 また次回来るときもこちらに泊まりますね。と約束して来ました。 こじんまりとし清潔なHOTELです。 ただ日本語は全然通じません。

Wir gehen schon laenger ins London Lodge Hotel. Seit 5- 6 Jahren. Immer sehr zufrieden. Fuehlen uns wie zuhause. In diesem Hotel stimmt einfach alles . Zu empfehlen :-)

Super gastvrij hotel. Lekker ontbijt en heerlijke eieren elke morgen! Prima locatie om londen te bezoeken. OV dichtbij, huurfietsen in de buurt. Met creditcard makkelijk te regelen, zodoende snel bij parken, musea en winkels.Aanrader gewoon doen! Hotel ligt in rustige en mooie buurt.Wij hebben 6 dagen genoten van alles. Dit is voor herhaling vatbaar! Dochter F en moeder T.

Jeg sitter igjen med en positiv opplevelse etter 2 netter på London Lodge Hotel i november 2011. Jeg bestilte et enkeltrom, men fikk høre ved ankomst at jeg hadde blitt oppgradert til et større og bedre rom uten mellomlegg! På grunn av en reise nordover i England var jeg avhengig av at deler av bagasjen ble oppbevart et annet sted. Betjeningen svarte at det kunne hotellet gjøre, selv om jeg ikke bodde der lenger. Hotellet ligger i en stille sidegate til Earl's Court Road. Jeg fikk et rom vendt mot baksiden og jeg hørte aldri noe til trafikk eller støy av noe slag. Rommet mitt hadde aircondition og sengen var meget komfortabel. Det er kort gangavstand til Earl's Court undergrunnstasjon, med flere gode restauranter i nærheten. Frokosten er enkelt, men god. Mot et lite mellomlegg kan man imidlertid få en større variasjon i frokosttilbudet. Rommet jeg fikk lå i 1. etasje like ved resepsjonen og hver gang noen brukte toalett/servant/dusj i naborommene hørtes dette ut som du hadde Niagarafossen som nabo! Jeg foretrekker hotellrom uten tepper på gulvet, men mitt rom hadde dessverre det. Dette til tross, jeg vil absolutt velge dette hotellet ved neste Londonbesøk.

Venligt og hjælpsomt personale, dog var hotellet lidt skuffende og småt i forhold til beskrivelsen, der lover både butik og bibliotek, hvilket må referere til et glasskab med smykker i kælderen og et sofaarrangement med magasiner i den lille reception. Værelse og badeværelse helt ok for London-standard i prisklassen, dog var der meget varmt, selvom der ikke var varme på radiator og det var i oktober, hvorfor vi måtte have vinduet åbent konstant. Noget skrabet continental morgenmad (men mulighed for tilkøb af English breakfast) og lidt kedelig og halvkold aftensmad. Meget lille restaurant med få og små borde, hvor man risikerer ventetid, både på bord og mad. Ligger i gåafstand til Naturhistorisk museum, men ellers må man nok påregne at skulle med undergrund eller bus til det meste.

Tämä hotelli on yksinkertaisesti mahtavalla paikalla: Earls Courtin metroasema on vajaan 10 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä ja sieltä on todella helppoa suunnistaa hotelliin (suoraan vaan isompaa katua pitkin ja sitten sivukadulle). Ja metrolla pääset todella helposti ja sujuvasti suoraan niin Heathrow´n lentokentälle kuin myös ydinkeskustaan tai muualle Lontooseen. Hotelli sijaitsee rauhallisella sivukadulla, jonka viereistä isompaa katua kulkee myös pari bussilinjaa. Huoneet ovat pieniä, mutta niin ne ovat yleensäkin Lontoossa. Siisteys oli erittäin hyvä. Hotellin käytävät, portaikot, aula jne. ovat juuri niin englantilaistyyliset kuin olet TV-sarjoista kuvitellutkin - yksinkertaisesti ihastuttavaa! Henkilökunta oli hyvin ystävällistä ja auttavaista. Ainoa huono puoli oli huonehintaan kuuluva aamiainen: se oli pelkkä tee/kahvi, paahtoleipää/croissantti, voita, muroja ja mehua (kaikkia tosin sai halutessaan lisää). Eli hiukan yksipuolista... Tosin valtaosa Lontoon hotelleista veloittaa aamiaisesta erikseen eli ei-niin-pahaa-ettei-jotain-hyvää. Pienestä lisämaksusta (n. 5 puntaa) sai sitten tilata eri vaihtoehtoja oikeasta english breakfastista. Kannattaa ehdottomasti kokeilla, pekoniaamiainen oli mahtavan maukas. Henkilökunnan suosittelema, noin 5 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä oleva pubi "Princess Victoria" oli erinomaisen hauska pikku pubi, josta saa myös erinomaista ruokaa erittäin kohtuulliseen hintaan. Eli: jos haluat kristallinkimallusta ja hienon ylellisiä yleisiä tiloja, tämä ei ole sinun hotellisi. Mutta jos arvostat pienen hotellin välittömän ystävällistä ilmapiiriä ja keskeistä mutta kuitenkin samalla erittäin rauhallista sijaintia, olet täällä kuin kotonasi. Suosittelen!

o London Lodge Hotel é uma excelente opção para hospedagem em Londres. Com uma tarifa razoável, o hotel reúne quartos confortáveis, atendentes agradáveis e solicitos, além de uma localização privilegiada.

Quarto pequeno, mas com ótima limpeza. Recepção amigável, mas não espere muita ajuda com mapas, internet e algo fora do escopo ( como ex.: compra de bilhetes de trem e indicações turísticas). Perto do metrô, mas é necessário andar alguns quarteirões. Para tem malas, precisa de fôlego ! Boa relação custo X benefício.

Passer for de som bare trenger en seng og tak og vegger. Rommene er i viktorians stil, men veldig slitt. Typisk engels stil med tepper på alle gulv tunge gardiner som ikke er ristet på de siste fem årene. Betjeningen er superhyggelig, dette scorer de høyt på. Men hotellet generelt er i så dårlig forfatning at jeg ikke vil anbefale å velge det om man skal kose seg og er av den typen som trenger en base for sitt opphold.

Todella mukava hotelli. Sijainti hyvä ja henkilökunta joustavaa ja palvelualtista. Aamuainen ok, paahtoleipää ja croisanttia, pyynöstä leikkelettä ja juustoa + muroja hedelmiä ja jugurttia buffet-pöydästä. Suosittelen kenelle tahansa. Ei ehkä neljän tähden loistohotelli, mutta erittäin miellyttävä kokkemus kaikin puolin.

This quite nice hotel is situated in a very nice neighborhood - quiet but yet lots of restaurants and food stores with take-away and not so far away from a well-werved underground-station.. Very nice , friendly and helpful staff, indeed! Rooms were very clean and not as small as expected in a London hotel. The only thing on the "bad" side was the very, very hard bed! It's quite unbearable to get any rest at a bed that hard when you are a "petite" person. You'll get so much exercise while walking about in London you'll need a good bed to get some relief! But yet - a good, clean hotel. Better than its three-star-scoring!

Personeel zeer vriendelijk. Kamer (eenspersoons) was groot genoeg, met minibar en goed werkende tv. Hotel ligt in een nette straat, en het metrostation is op loopafstand. Continentaal ontbijt zat bij de prijs in, en was netjes en degelijk. Toast en croissants zoveel als je wilde, cereal, yoghurt en fruit was in buffetvorm. Kortom: als ik weer naar Londen ga, ga ik waarschijnlijk weer in dit hotel.

dette hotellet er det VÆRSTE hotellet vi noen gang har vært på: Dårlig service. IKKE VASKET ROM!!! Kontenalfrokost er kaffe og 2 crossoinger som er laget i microen.. Når vi ankom hotellrommet var lakene ikke reine, det var også hår rundt på badet fra de gamle gjestene. IKKE la deg lure av bildene de legger ut, de stod utenfor hotellet også. For denne prisen finner du LUXUS hotell i forhold!! Greier faktsik ikke forklare med ord hvor skuffet jeg er, så om du leser dette velg ett annet hotell.. unner ingen dette oppholdet, var der i 4 dager. CRAP!
