The staff were all very pleasant. I was trying to figure out why someone would build a hotel next to the railroad tracks. I didn't mind the train whistles at about 1AM in the morning but I was anoyed at them when the train came through at arround 3:30 AM.

the location to the historic and downtown sections was convienent The room was comfortable but the shower water pressure wasnt the best but got the job done. In the morning there was a set up for breakfast with coffee, tea, OJ, cereal, bagels, and muffins. Overall not a bad experience for the money spent

There were 3 floors, but no elevator. when I went to check in, there was no one there. I had to call them on a phone in the lobby and wait for them. The toliet didn't work right. I had to hold the handle down the whole time to get it to flush. The water pressure was so bad that the sink was a trickle, and there wasn't enough water coming out in the shower to even wash my hair. I couldn't wash my hair the whole time I was there. The lady at the front desk was very rude, and acted like I was an inconvience to her day.

Nasty, dirty, horrible staff...don't stay at this location!

Considering we had no idea of what the area was like and had never stayed in a Super 8 before, it was a great experience. We both slept like babies. The AC acted up though and we were contacted about what had happened wth it. We explained what was happening, but the maintenance crew said they couldn't find anything wrong with it.

We were down in Havre De Grace visiting relatives and found this place quite convenient & priced right. The staff was friendly, the place was well-maintained & very clean, and the smoke-free room smelled smoke-free. Mini-fridge, microwave, iron & board, safe, cable TV, working AC. Nothing deluxe; no pool or restaurant. If you're looking for a resort at these prices, keep driving. I'll use it again!

Room was ready when we arrived. It was clean and comfortable. Staff was nice. The breakfast was simple, just enough to meet our needs, bagles or mini-muffins, cereal, juice and coffee. We were close to town and enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable room even includes small refrigerator and iron with ironing board. Easy access to all major highways. Service quick and friendly.

Room was clean and neat. Fridge worked great and so did the microwave. Plenty of towels. Housekeeping staff very nice and so were the people at the front desk. For the price, it was just fine and would use it again.

We dont expect much at a Super 8 - its not the Waldorf-Astoria, afterall. But for what it is, this was clean and served our needs. The coffee maker and iron/ironing board in the room were nice perks that we made use of. We were looking for an alarm clock, but were fine without one. The room did include a fridge, microwave and safe though. Parking lot was well-lit. No elevators - staying on the 3rd floor is rough on the knees since that's an issue for me. Basic continental breakfast was included - got us started, nothing fancy. Sometimes they include danish or oatmeal - this one didn't.

Cheap for the area, but room was not very clean when I checked in. Was not impressed. But was close to the sties I wante to visit.

Everything was fine with the room. The only problem that we had was ....on return to the motel in the afternoon of the next day, our card-key would not open the back entrance door and we had to go the front desk and get new cards. They worked fine. Other than that, all was fine. The coffee, bagels and muffins were just enough in the morning to get you going.

Extremely heavy smoke odor. The service man at front desk had been smoking in the lobby. All smoke free rooms upstairs and smoke from below had traveled up.

We have used this Hotel for many years due to it's location. There are not any other Hotels in that area of Havre de Grace, Md. It is older, but fairly clean. The price is moderate, but not cheap. We don't spend much time there - just to sleep and change clothes.

We just needed a stop over while traveling... This hotel was perfect for it.
