It was great location an quiet but had roach in the bed. Sorry to say that will be the reason for me that I won't stay there again.

Good price. The internet was very good. Though the breakfast was not good, you got what you paid. Overall, it is a good motel.

I booked a trip in July 2013 for this same hotel and I will not be staying again.

I liked the room for the price that was payed

Staff was very nice. Bath tub was a little gross but not awful. Beds were pretty hard and squeaky. Excellent location in relation to Busch Gardens. They give free breakfast which was a nice bonus. You pretty much get what you pay for. If you just need a place to sleep overnight because you're too tired to drive home you can't beat the price and location.

My boyfriend and I stayed three nights in Colonial Williamsburg, two in a upscale inn and one here before departing early in the morning. We checked into the Super 8 around 4 and this delightful woman helped us out. There was a mix-up with the reservation that was resolved quickly and easily. The room was rather clean except for a cigarette burn in the blanket and the heater smelling like burning hair. The location is a 10 minute walk (>5 min drive) to the CW capitol and there's a cute high-end consignment shop (The Velvet Shoestring) across the way. I would recommend this for a quick stay, max two days. The help and location were great, but the room itself was just ok. Good deal for the money.

We were looking for an inexpensive hotel near Busch Gardens. We were happy with what we got, considering the price. The basic breakfast was great for our family and the staff was more than willing to refill items at breakfast for my boys. The bed was not too comfortable but I will definitely stay again because of the price.

I had read many reviews regarding this hotel and found, after staying here that the hotel was better than I'd thought it might be. The bathroom was very clean, as was the rest of the room. The breakfast was more than adequate. People complaining about the food? Y'all know it's not a five-star restaurant when you booked your room at this very reasonably priced motel. If you want to pay for the basic, clean with no frills motel stay, this is the place for you!

This is our second stay at motels 8 from visiting Busch Gardens and we enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean and we like that its on a quiet road its easy to get in and out.

Comfort and convenience at an affordable price. Staff were responsive to guest needs.

Great location. Bathtub was filthy. Carpet was dirty. Beds seem to be pretty clean.

Our room was ok and clean bed was just hard my husband and I both woke up with backaches.

Hotel was clean and served its purpose. Would not recommend if you plan on spending a great deal of time there.

We needed worry free accommodations while taking care of family matters and comfortable accommodation while we enjoyed a visit to historic Williamsburg. Job well done.

This motel was very close to the historic area, and a restaurant right next door. It's an older motel so rooms were large -- king room had space for a sofa & coffee table. Clean and comfortable -- however, the promised included breakfast did not appear on two of the mornings I was there. Promised as 7 - 10 am but when I left at 8:30 am the lobby was closed and still dark on both mornings.

Not the Ritz, but great for the price. Old but clean/well maintained. I've paid double for the same quality elsewhere.

The woman that checked us in was warm and courteous. I liked her and appreciated her friendliness.

It was a clean room other than some red stains in the carpet. The bathroom was clean, but I would highly recommend using or being your own towel, like I did. Their towel looked very thin. It was a great place to hide from Hurricane Sandy. Power worked, Tv, hot water, etc. My check in was good, they were very friend. However, if you are looking for a romantic get away this is far from it. But if your looking for and hot shower and a fairly comfortable bed this will do.

This hotel is older but our room was well maintained and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful and overall we had a great experience. We will definitely stay here again.

The room was very clean , the beds very firm. The AC was cold and comfortable and we were only 5 minutes from Busch Gardens. The continental breakfast was the only turn off ( it was bananas, powder donuts, orange juice, toast and cereal) so we had to go looking for breakfast. But the price for the room and the cleanliness made up for it.

Good service, friendly people... The room smelled a little musty and thick so we had to buy air fresheners. The key cards also didn't work very well. We had some obnoxious neighbors but that's what to expect when you get a decent room (with surprisingly nice appliances and a nice television) fairly close to Busch Gardens, the historic area, Richmond, and dozens of restaurants.

Carpet could use a cleaning. Bathroom was clean. Bed was a bit hard but at least we didn't have bed bugs. wasn't really "walking distance" from williamsburg but it was close enough that it didn't matter if we walked from there or not. If you had kids, we wouldn't walk from there with them, but if you were a bit athletic and liked to walk alot then go for it! Staff were nice. The only problem we had with staff was when we tried to check out. There was no on at the front desk for at least 15 minutes and after calling there still was no one around. Breakfast consisted of just cereal, coffee, milk, juice, powdered donuts and toast. the first morning there were had very green, very unripe bananas but didn't see them anytime after that. otherwise for what we paid it was worth the stay.

We were in town for a trip to Busch Gardens and colonial Williamsburg. Our one complaint was that there were a couple of chunks of plaster (or whatever the material is) that were missing from the ceiling of our room. And it was a pretty confined space. But the motel manager was very nice and everything else about the room was acceptable. For the price, this is a safe and agreeable place to stay in a very convenient spot in Williamsburg.

Room was comfortable and clean comfortable bed aside from a small water leak in breakfast area of the lobby the stay was fine. The Continental Breakfast selection could have been better but it was free.

The room wasnt very clean (stained carpeting) but it was a place to sleep for the night...You get what you pay for.

Staff was efficient and room was about what we expected for the price, except the carpet appeared very dirty. Everything worked and we had no problems. Glad our children are older and no longer inclined to be on the floor. Also, the pool had a layer of algae on the bottom that stirred up as the kids swam.

I enjoyed my stay there and found the staff very courteous. Overall for the money I was very happy with my accomodations.

I was pleased with room. It was clean, and quiet.

The room itself wasn't bad except that it was very noisy between the a/c and surrounding guests (walls must be thin). I chose the hotel for it's location so it suffices for that if nothing else. The one thing it had going for it is that the night attendant was very courteous and I felt welcome.

I booked this hotel last minute, as I was getting tired and didn't feel like driving the 5 hrs. I had before me. The rate was wicked cheap and I was happy with the price. Unfortunately, I got exactly what I paid for. Semi rude service at the front desk, a musty old room that smelt like it hadn't been opened up since the 1980s, and a not so clean room. The bed was clean enough to sleep under the covers, but the whole cleanliness of the entire place was extremely suspect. I recommend shower shoes if you use the bathroom/ shower. Overall, it served the purpose, but you get exactly what you pay for.

The hotel room was disgustingly dirty. There was human and animal hair all in the bathroom floor & tub as well as covering all the linens on the bed. The room smelled musty & the carpet was damp in places. There was trash on the floor & garbage can so I don't think it was cleaned prior to us checking in. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone! Plus the toilet didn't work properly

Hotel wasn't too bad. It's not a 5 star resort, but if you're mainly looking for a place to sleep then it's a decent place. We arrived after midnight on Friday (Labor Day weekend) and I was greeted right away at the front desk and checked in. The lady behind the desk said that she had just sent someone in to freshen up the room, and when we walked in we could smell the clean. The beds were very clean, but hard mattresses and very flat pillows! I recommend bringing your own pillow if you get a stiff neck while sleeping. The blankets were old, but clean. The bathroom was very clean as well. The only nasty part was the carpet. Very stained and dirty looking, but we just kept our shoes on. We were gone all day Saturday and chose to leave the "do not disturb" sign on our door because we'd left our valuables in the room and didn't wanna chance them disappearing. When got back everything was how we left it, no one had entered, which made me feel like the employees were honest. Checked out on Sunday with no problem. Breakfast both mornings was cereal, bananas, doughnuts, toast, milk and coffee. Nothing fancy, but it was ok.

The service was fantastic. The staff was very friendly and helpful, however, the rooms were not very clean and not nearly as big as they looked from the online pictures. Location was good but I would probably not stay there again in the future.

The room was a lot smaller than the pictures made it look. Wasn't a horrible stay, the price was just right, anymore $ and I would have been upset.

Quality of room was good but front desk help could be friendlier. Need to expand breakfast kinda skimpy. I would stay there again for the price and location.

Horrible

I felt the room was clean, employees were very friendly and everything was right on the main highway. We visited Busch Gardens and the hotel was not but 10 minuyes away. We had two queen beds and a fold out sofa which worked perfectly. The water was nice and hot for all of us to shower. Pool was kept up and very clean. The only complaint would be of their breakfast. It wasn't close to being what all the other hotels have but it worked as there were grocery stores and other places to go. I would use this hotel again without a doubt..

worst ever period

The hotel was okay. Here are the negatives: there was no greeting from management, no information about what time was breakfast nor pool closing nor internet service password. The towels had some hairs on them which was gross!!!! the pillows were OLD very old and the TV was from the 1800's. The remote didn't work either. The positives: close to a few restaurants and to Colonial Williamsburg. The room seemed pretty cleaned and there was no noise-it was quiet during my stay. The price was okay but next time I would really search the near by hotels, which seemed better than this one.

I would recommend it to people wanting to stay near Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown, even close enough to Newport News, VA. Daily breakfast was nice. Good pool with walk in stairs, great for Seniors. The room was extremely clean and comfortable, daily service to room was great and when extra towels were needed, there was no problem getting them. Very nice staff. Appears they might have painted rooms recently so very bright and clean. Only on negative - - the carpets need to be replaced, but they were clean.

Could never access the internet the entire 48 hours. continental breakfast was minimalist. significant noise from guests above us. Room was clean and basic.
