Visiting relatives. Seven miles away. Price and amenities suited our needs. Would stay here again.

It was nice,clean and peaceful. I would stay there again!!!!

i did not get the room i ordered ,but they put me in a sweet at no extra charge,, it took 2 hours to get a remote control that worked on one of the two tvs in my suite.

I frequently book hotels for my employees that must travel for business. Recently, I had to move one of my employees from a larger chain hotel due to unlivable conditions. On very short notice, the Super 8 on Midlothian Turnpike in Richmond, VA accommodated my employee. The staff was friendly and helped out when the stay needed to be extended. My employee reported that the hotel was clean and comfortable, and for the price we were satisfied.

Explicit service, clean, and comfortable. A great place for a good price. Very satisfied.

Room had a very bad smell. Very loud bathroom exhaust fan Broken sofa Broken iron. I travel a lot and stay in hotels and motels. This is by far the worst experience I had.

I found change on the floor of the room, so I knew that the floor hadn't been vacuumed. It was a place that I would not stay in again.

The hotel and room were very clean and looked good. The location in Richmond VA was not the safest area but we had absolutely no problems. The breakfast area offering hot Waffles was very pleasing to all of us.

When I travel, I am looking for just a few things: a comfortable bed, effective air conditioning and a solid Internet connection. Of course, you expect the room to be clean and the bathroom to function properly. The check-in went well, and the woman didn't charge us for the dog. I got everything I wanted from this place, and it was less than a mile from where I was going. I gave it five stars not because it's comparable to a luxury hotel but because it gave me what I expected. I fully recommend this place.

I reserved 1 room with 2 double beds, nonsmoking online. We arrive at check in to be greet with a plate glass window between us and the person checking us in. The lobby was dirty. I was told by the receptionist that Hotels.com should have told me there where no more rooms with two double beds that are non- smoking. There was only one room available and it was for smoking. We had no choice but to take it. We go to our room and as soon as we opened the door it smelled like and ash tray. We had to open the window and stuff hand sanitizing wipes in the air conditioner to help with the smell. Then I noticed the lamp shades. The nicotine was so thick on them that it look like they had been there several years. The bathroom.... The bathroom looked like the only thing that was "wiped down" was the toilet, sink, and tub. The sink was clogged. The walls and corners of the floors had unidentifiable stuff on them. I am just going to call it filth. Then I noticed cock roach on the wall. I killed it. I was afraid to stay the night. Everyone had already gone to bed and I didn't have the heart to wake them up. I was afraid to sleep in the bed as I did not know if it had bed bugs or dirty sheets. I slept on top over the comforter. When we got home I had to sort through our luggage looking for any hitch hiking cock roaches as I did not want to infest my home them. There is not reason why this place should have been so filthy. Never again will I stay there. No will I recommend it to anyone.

I am satified with this hotels. it clean & frindly service. I just made another reservations.

Worst stay ever. When I arrived at the hotel the manager made me wait at least 6-7 minutes before acknowledging my waiting in line. Once he did acknowledged me he did not say hello and was very unfriendly. He asked me for my driver’s license and handed me a key. He didn’t say enjoy your stay or anything of that magnitude. Very rude. Once upstairs, the hallway to the room was extremely hot and smelly. The hotel was like a sauna. Once inside the room, the room was like a steam bath also and room smelled and very stale. Worst hotel I every stayed. There were undesirable people standing around outside of the hotel. I’ve stayed at this hotel before (maybe a year ago) and I was very dissatisfied. I will never utilize this hotel every again. I did not spend the entire night due to the awful stay!!!!

All in all, I was pleasantly surprised. I felt that I had perhaps made a mistake when I got there, and there are some issues (lots of goose poo on the sidewalks, a rear door that is supposedly locked that never was, and the neighborhood is not glitzy), but the room was fine. Clean, linens were clean, room had a fridge, microwave and coffee maker, iron and ironing board, and for all of that the price could certainly have been higher. Hotel staff was friendly. And, if you stay here, go to Mi Hacienda across the parking lot, the food was wonderful. If you forgot anything, there's a Walgreens right down the street, plenty of gas stations, and places to eat within a few miles' drive, and easy access to the highways to get you to downtown Richmond. You're about a 10 - 15 minute drive at the most from downtown. Yes, I would stay here again.

Durning my stay at the Super 8 Hotel, I was very satiflyed with the service. Overall this was a clean room. The bathroom was spotless. Every thing was in its right place. I was suprise to have a excellt choice for breakfast. That was one of the best moves Super 8 Hotel made. Giving customers a good menu for breakfast. There is no way I would stay at any other Hotel.

Manager unaccesible. Failed to answer messages left after our stay. Continental Breakfast not properly stocked. Juice was water. Tables dirty. No tongs for food. No napkins. Beds not made when we returned. Had to make own beds. No towels for room. Poor quality for rate we paid.

Hotel was great for the price. The high-speed internet access was extremely useful. Continental breakfast was standard. Only problem was on checkout as clerk did not show up. Left the key on the front desk, since the room was prepaid.
