Motel 6 - President Inn - جيتيسبورغ

The bed was hard and I used the comforter to make it soft enough. Close to everything but difficult to get out of parking lot at high traffic times. Staff very helpful. Had four prople in each room alongside us but it was very quiet.

The staff was extremely accomodating and friendly, which is a shame because the room was unsatisfactory. There were two cigarette burns in the bedding, there was a silverfish in my sink, the shower drain barely drained the water, the room smelled like terrible recirculated air, and the lamps were dusty.

Room was great, staff was great. Entrance is not handicap friendly. One ice machine for the whole building is not convenient if you are not on first floor.

My stay was great. It was inexpensive so I didn't expect much. The desk person was very friendly and made me feel welcome. Clean place.

I usually stay at any hotel that is close to my destination and resonably priced. Motel 6 was certainly adequate but I was disappointed to find no coffee pot in my room. Most Americans start their day with a cup of coffee and it is very important to most of us. The next time I book I will remember, NO COFFEE IF I STAY AT motel 6.

so mad..the pool was closed and that was reason to stay there..no continental breakfast either which said would provide..cold bathrooms..noisy heat..made me feel like was a bad mistake i will never make again..felt cold and dank

We chose this hotel because of the beautiful indoor pool they advertise. The pictures were great, but the pool is not heated and is closed for the winter. That was a real bummer! Room was fine, but they were a bit skimpy with the towels. Also gave us no shampoo only a bar of soap.

We stayed a night between Christmas and New Years and were quite comfortable. Services are basic but suited to the price. Staff were polite, helpful and respectful.

I would not recommend this hotel. The beds and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. It was like sleeping on concrete. There was no shampoo. When I asked the front desk clerk if I could have shampoo, he gave me one foil packet of shampoo. I asked if I could have more and he gave me a tiny half empty bottle that have obviously been used by someone else. The towesl and wash clothes were as rough as sandpaper. The breakfast consisted of coffee, a container of oatmeal, a pot of hot water, a container with plums in it, and a container with white bread for toast. I travel to Gettysburg often and will never stay there again.

I love the friendliness off the staff

Twice during my stay they forgot to bring me shampoo, and it would be nice if they would clean the rooms earlier in the day (3:00 P.M. Is that typical?), but other than that it's a decent place to stay. The price is right, and it is the third time I've stayed there.

The location was great, just a few minutes from downtown. You could walk there and shop or have lunch. The room was neat and clean. But I was told that there was a frig in the room and a nice size tub, there was nether. The second day, the staff didn't leave any towel. When I called the front desk to tell them, I was told to come down and get them!

The management was present and friendly, and for the price it met our expectations. The mattress seemed on the new side, but the sheets and other furnishings seemed worn out, but clean. The bathroom was clean. The location was not in the center of town, but close enough if you are not averse to walking- and it is a lovely walk.

room was a smoking room and it smelled bad. no coffee pot in room. " Breakfast" was bad coffee, no decaf coffee,cereal, old small chocolate and old used to be frozen American bread no butter! The staff was nice but that's about it. I would not stay at this hotel again.

The clerk was extremely nice. Our handicapped room did not have a roll-in shower for my brother, so he offered to give us another room. It had such a strong urine smell in it that we declined but he let my brother take a shower in that room and then go to our original room. Very considerate.

for the price stay else where, hard time getting clean linens, comp breakfast was a box of cornflakes, and a jug of milk you had to pass.

Easily lcoated, would have to drive to center of town, but close to everything. Staff was very nice. Bath tub was a little clogged, but they offered tp come right up and fix it. They had an early morning continental breakfast. Nice setting. Very helpful. The price for the rooms was great. Free parking with plenty of parking spaces. Smoking rooms were available which we wanted. Hotel was very clean and beds were really comfy. Would stay there again if we went back to Gettysburg. Would recommend staying there to anyone and there were kids there also with parents. Nothing bad to say at all.

This hotel was O.K.. We booked this hotel because some hotels with good reviews were all booked up. This hotel also had some good reviews so we decided to stay. The pool was icy cold. The windows were open and the water should have been at least warm. We gave up going into the pool. The hot tub looked so dirty and old. So we did not want to stay and went back to my room. Overall, it's O.K.. The staff was nice and friendly. But I would not go back again.

Hotel conveniently located near city center in Gettysburg, PA. Nothing fancy but the room was clean, beds comfortable and TV was fine. Breakfast was included and was a disappointment, as only coffee, cereal, milk and chocolate doughnuts were available.

VERY clean room.

The rooms were reasonably spacious, and were clean, and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were nice, and provided a fun way for our family to unwind after a day of intense sight-seeing. It wasn't right across the street from the sights, but really, it was close enough--especially given the price!

Staff was pleasant upon check in and check out. Room was satisfactory, or so I thought. Upon returning home, discovered bed bugs in my bag. Called the hotel and told them that I only wanted to inform them about it so that they could fix the problem for the next guest. I was not interested in a discount or going public with this. The rude reply was that I had to have brought the bed bugs with me because the hotel is always clean. I think it's more than strange coincidence that there's never been a bed bug in my home, yet when I returned from Motel 6 in Gettysburg my bag had about 40 of them in there.

We liked the Motel very much, unfortunately due to Hurricane Irene we had to leave early. But the motel itself was very nice. We would definately stay there again.

This hotel is modest, but very clean. The staff was courteous and efficient. It's just a short way to the center of Gettysburg, and well priced.

Nice hotel-good prices-convenient-overall clean I would stay there again

the hotel room itself was not bad, not as clean as i would have liked, not bad though. The pool and hot tub were in miserable condition. the water was both green and cold. The hot tub was warm and in dire need of a good scrubbing. In short, its an ok room, dont expect any more.

For the price we paid it was as expected. Clean and close enough to town center. Didn't pay for the convenience of being closer to shops and restaraunts so we drove 5 minutes and saved $50.

No complaints with the hotel. In fact, although the hotels website said that breakfast was not included, a continental breakfast was provided.

It is in a great location. Its far enough from down town so traffic is not an issue but close enough to where you can get to anything in less than 10 minutes. there is an awesome Italian restaurant almost next door. The hotel was clean and simple. a perfect place to stay if you dont plan on staying in the hotel your entire visit. I would definitely stay there again.

cheap...but pay more to get better next time

Smoking rooms smell really smokey, had to change to non-smoking and friend had to smoke outside. Rugs need to be changed, staff a little lax but pleasant. Very convenient to local attractions and stores. OK stay.

I had a pleasant two night stay at this location while passing through Gettysburg. The hotel manager seemed to be present at all times and was very helpful with our questions. Our stay was quiet and comfortable which was perfect for long days of sightseeing. This is an older hotel but I felt it was perfectly suitable for the price we payed. I would stay here again if I am passing through.

A clean, somewhat bare-bones place. If decor and haute cuisine matters, this probably isn't for you. On the other hand, if a good value for the basics is what you're after (as it is for me), then this is great. The staff was very helpful.
