Southernmost on the Beach Hotel - كي ويست

Best stay ever we always go to Clearwater but Key West has won us over. We will be back, Clearwater just lost a long time customer.

From check-in I knew I had chosen the correct hotel for my 4 night stay. We arrived around 12:30 and the room would not be ready until check-in at 4. But that was not an issue, we were guided to changing rooms to get more comfortable and cleaned up. Our baggage was then kindly stored for safely by the concierge. We gave our cell number to the front desk just in case our room became available earlier. We were then called and into our room by 2:45. The room was modern, contemporary and clean. We faced the pool and beach area but the room was still quiet. The bed was fantastic with a soft headboard which most modern hotels have not yet grasped. The TV had Dish Network which was nice in downtime. The staff were very friendly and willing to help at any moment. The only member that was rather rude was amazingly Jewls the concierge lady. She was stuck up and I even saw her being rude to a coworker. That was the only minor issue in 4 lovely days. All the food at the restaurant was good, the drinks were cold and the beach was lovely with complimentary chairs and towels. They even brought around chilled towels and frozen fruit treats to the guests, a lovely touch. I'm glad we chose this hotel because it was at the quiet end of Duval. It was a slice of tranquility and relaxation. This will be the only hotel we use in Key West and after our first visit we will be back!

The Southernmost Hotel Collection was amazing! We loved the location, on the opposite end of Duvall St from all the craziness, but still within walking distance from the action. The room and amenities were all top notch. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and truly wanted to make sure we had the best time! The pool, right on the beach with the bar and live music every afternoon is where we spent all of our time. Overall, an unbelievably wonderful trip and we can't wait to go back again!

Convenient, clean, and the service in all areas of the resort was great. They got us in our room by 1pm. Allowed for extended stay till 1pm on check out day. Clean pool areas, there were 3, clean public restrooms, great service. Great beachside restaurant, service, food selection and quality was great. Everything was in walking distance. Sits in old town at the quiet end of Duval. Grocery store nearby. Cart, bike and moped rentals nearby if you want to travel that way. Places to relax if you wanted quiet, places to sunbathe on a pier or to watch the sunset. This is the place to stay.

Great Location, Beautiful resort, the pictures do this place NO justice! It is much nicer and bigger than I anticipated based off the photos. Cafe has great food, has a couple sandy beaches, which you do not see much of in Key West. All the staff was over the top accommodating and nice! We will return to SMONB!

Love the hotel. Only con is no privacy on balcony and in room. There are no deviders between balconies and you can see rite in to your neighbors room and they can see into yours. Not good on your honeymoon!

This is a nice hotel away from the noisy bars of Duval Street. It does attract a slightly older crowd but means it's pretty quiet.

The employees were friendly except the person who check us out-I asked about their property across the street. She rudely said, "Go the the internet." I asked her if she had a brochere of all their properties and she handed me on not so nicely. Beside this women, all others were friendly and helpful.

We stayed here for 3 nights on our vacation in Key West and loved the hotel. Great location, amenities and service! We had a room with a partial view of the ocean and it was the perfect place to relax. They have 3 pools, 2 bars, a cafe that is excellent, a spa, gym all right on the south end of Duval street. A magnificent view of the ocean with beach chairs and hammocks included. Its pretty quiet too as it is close to the south end of Duval street away from the bustle. If you are looking for a romantic getaway in Key West, this is the place to stay. Would stay there again!

All good apart from weir ( partial ocean veiw) only if I stood on tip toes and bent my head around the corner , bit disappointed but overall great place

the hotel is lovely, clean and situated right at the heart of keywest. Free parking is a god send down there because there really is no where to park, he beach cafe serves up some great grub too.

I am a clean freak so i was satisfied with how nice and clean the room was. No loud noise outside from duval which was nice. the room was very modern and staff was very friendly. Would definitely stay again. Only complaint would be bed wasnt as comfortable as I expected. Also duval street is close however if you want to walk to beginning of duval street, where malory square is make sure you have comfortable shoes on or shoes made for walking.

Loved this hotel, we only stayed for one night on a flying visit but loved it, the hotel staff are very friendly, the place is spotless and there are a few pools, private beach areas to choose from. Our room was spacious, the toiletries are lovely and the shower is so big you can party inside. You are 1 minute walk from the start of Duval st, the main street in Key West for bars, restaurants, tour buses etc but you are at the peacefull end. Make use of the double hammocks around the hotel. Be sure to make the sunset at mallorey sq. Duval st is good for a bit of a bar crawl, we liked Sloppy Joes and Irish Kevins.

We have stayed at several bed and breakfast on our stats to key west but then decided to try southernmost on the beach. We are so glad we did and will continue to stay here for all of our future visits.

The hotel was very clean and well appointed. The staff was exceptionally helpful throughout our stay. A little pricey but worth it for our purposes.

Very clean and comfortable room. Be aware of the distant sea view room as it is indeed distant. All other facilitirs are good including the fitness room.

Look no further just book it. Excellent new hotel in a fantastic location at the quiet end of Duval street, but yet only 10 min walk into all the action. Beautiful spot to see the sunrise. Lovely room, great pool and bar. Staff very friendly. Only stayed 2 nights wish it was longer.

The location is perfect, grounds are beautiful. Room is very well appointed including one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. Every staff member we dealt with was pleasant and helpful. Hotel is close enough to Duvall to walk but far enough away that you can have quiet time. All in all, I couldn't ask for a better stay!

We had 6 nights in the Southernmost on the Beach and I wish it could have been longer. Room was huge with 2 double beds and a lovely bathroom. Decent wardrobe space, balcony and very clean. Nice flat screen TV and good quality furniture. We paid a little extra for a partial ocean view which wasn't really a huge deal but the view was nice. The air conditioning units were a bit loud at times but it was very hot and we needed the aircon. We could also use the facilities of the Southernmost Hotel across the road and the tranquility pool was great. No kids allowed. Bar staff came around every so often to check if you needed drinks. The other 2 pools were more lively but very nice too. Only slight downside was the service of the bartenders behind the bar (not the waiting staff) which was at times a bit offhand. A little more welcoming attitude would have made it perfect! The grounds were beautiful and there were water coolers and ice machines in several locations. The Southernmost Cafe on the beach is part of the hotel too and open to non-residents. It was a very busy location for breakfast and well worth a visit! We would definitely return here for future holidays.

Perfect place to stay. Rooms were clean and spacious, with great views. Pool was clean with great bar and entertainment. The restaurant on the beach was moderately priced and food was good. Access to Duval....perfect, yet far enough away, we had peace. When we go back, will stay at the Southernmost at the Beach.

My family just returned from Southernmost on the Beach. The location of the hotel is perfect. It's located on the quiet side of Duval St. but still within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The hotel is very clean and updated. We spent the last two nights of our vacation in Key Largo and I was missing SMOB! Everyday there are pool games run by the activities director. My daughter's won free "kids" drinks from the bar, appetizers and we also won two free passes aboard a sunset sail. Everyday we were winning more things....they might have been happy to see us leave. There is also yoga on the beach!! We would definitely stay here again!

beach was underwhelming very small, our room was nice, one full day we had no maid service, restaurant small casual nothing special, overall we felt it was very overpriced.

Loved our stay at Southernmost on the Beach...the room was perfect, service great, concierge very helpful. Just the right blend of fun and solitude and relaxation! With some very wonderful sights and restaurants withing walking/biking distance! Especially loved the restaurant Pisces and Hemingway's house!

The staff was great, the hotel was clean..it was beautiful right there on the beach..and close to Duval street.. It was the best getaway ever!! Definitely will be back to Key West and definitely will stay here again!

We had a great stay. The beach is right next to the hotel and you can get your lounge chairs for free, just pay for the umbrella. The food at the cafe at the beach is wonderful... The location is perfect for a familly, away from the "busy part" of Duval, still you can walk there for a drink or two! The staff was not super friendly. Overall it's a great place to stay.

You must find the private beach and pier on this resort. They are amazing, and not overcrowded. Every time I went there, there were lounge chairs AND umbrellas available, and sometimes even hammocks. The view was spectacular. Everyone will tell you to go to Mallory Square to watch the sunset, but I will tell you the sunset, and even more the sunrise, from the pier are unbelievable. Close to everything on Duvall street, but a few blocks removed from the noise and chaos. The most relaxing spot on the island.

The hotel is gorgeous. Our rooms were so clean and decorated beautifully. The staff were so welcoming. Location is perfect. We will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend it.

Excellent location and hotel. Everything is well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. Excellent food at the cafe and so convenient that we enjoyed several meals there.

Far exceeded my expectations. I travel every week for work and have stayed at many hotels accross the country, this is the first time I actually wanted to write a review and share my recommendation. The location is amazing, right on the beach. There is a great pool bar. The staff was incredibly friendly, not in an annoying way, but as if they really enoyed helping and serving us. The hotel is a little pricey, but don't let that scare you away. The location, views, and ammenities are well worth it.

Service and location were excellent. Located at the end of Duval Street very quite but a short walk to all the action in Key West. Beach, 3 pools, restaurant/cafe, bars at two of the pools. Couldn't say enough good things about this hotel! Would recommend room with beach view. Already planning my next vacation to Southernmost on the Beach!

Beautiful hotel right on the beach at the southernmost point in the US. Fantastic sunrise and sunsets. The resturant is great too!

We had a wonderful stay. We were celebrating our anniversary and this was a perfect location. We could walk everywhere, and did. It was close enough to the night life but far enough away so that you could get away from e hustle and bustle on the other end of Duval Street. The staff were very courteous and attentive. The food at the beach cafe was great. We would and have already recommended the hotel to others. Would not hesitate to come back if we were returning to Key West

Lovely hotel in a great location. Had a problem with a light fixture in the room which was fixed promptly. Pool and beach access is great and has great spots for viewing the specatacular sunsets. There is a trolley stop and convenience store right across the street. Some/all(?) rooms don't have bathtubs but the shower was large and had a seat so it worked for me.

Very comfortable bed and balcony. Great view of the beach! Just wish I knew where they kept the coffee pot, (under the bathroom sink). Never thought to look there until we were checking out. Had to change out the refrigerator's water tray. The soaps they included were amazing! Enjoyed our stay!
