For the price of the hotel room, we were very happy with the hotel. We needed an overnight stay (April 13, 2012), for an open house event at ECU. It took around five driving minutes from hotel to ECU. The hotel wasn't new, however our room was very clean and we had no problems with the room...also the free breakfast was just enough to keep us going until lunch buffet at ECU. Plenty of parking spaces and a gas station next to the hotel had one of the cheapest gas prices in town.

This hotel is decent for the money. I stayed here for 3 nights for business. The hotel is older but in decent condition. The wireless internet was ok, it actually quit working for about 13 hours. I had to call the hotel office and they fixed it right away. I would stay here again. The hotel is located right next to a set of railroad tracks.

The lady at the desk was very nice and helpful. The only thing I didn't like was housekeeping came around too early knocking on the door to clean up room.

I was there for a night of getaway. I had to figure out how to turn the heat on or how to work it but other than that it was a good experience. I was in a hot room in the end......The bathroom could have been a litle cleaner but overall the room was a pleasure. I did not get an opportunity to eat the breakfast.

very helpful staff and the room was pleasant. Not fancy but all we needed and the location was wonderful.

Our stay was only for one night, the room was fine just for that, I do not recommend for long stay. We had a non smoking room but the hallway smelled like smoke/cigarette, they need air ventilators. Staff was friendly, carpets were nasty, dirty, they need new ones or a good shampoo. Thank goodness, it was only for one night, it served the purpose.

Staff was helpful but not obtrusive. Room was clean and fairly comfortable. Good central location, felt safe there. Good for business trips, which I take there four-five times a year. Provides smoking rooms, which is essential. Overall, a good stay. Would stay there again.

The price was really cheap and pretty much next door to the hospital, there is also a bunch of places to eat on Greenville street down the road. I did not like on my second night there i spent the night at the hospital and when I got to the room the next morning they had not clean the room or at least set out clean towels.

Convenient for ECU games.

The room was clean, although I was slightly uneasy about the mattress covers. I appreciated the idea, but was bothered by the crinkly feeling and sound (I tossed and turned all night). I was apprehensive of a loud group of people who were staying in the rooms near ours, but I was pleasantly surprised to not have them sound like they were in my room. I was also surprised that there was a refrigerator, which I would have liked to know about ahead of time - but maybe I missed in in the property description. Mia at the front desk was pleasant and helpful. Overall, a good value for the money if you just need somewhere to crash.

I enjoyed my stay here. I had no problems at all. It is in a great location in the medical district and has many food choices close by. We were here for two nights and used everything at the hotel. I question why others said what they did about the pool. We had a great time using the pool.

Considered this hotel because of location, price and the fact that it had a pool. Well I would not have let my dog in this pool. It also had a gas station right beside it and there were people that were not hotel guest sitting on the sidewalk lingering around. I think some was even trying to sell services.

Very comfortable. Wireless was great. Staff very helpful and friendly. Nice peaceful stay. We will definitely be back! Thank you for everything.
