Hotel Fusion, a C-Two Hotel - سان فرانسيسكو

no major complaints. excellent price for location. staff was friendly and helpful. room was clean and seemed recently renovated. the twin-bed room I stayed in is the size of a walk-in closet, but it was enough space for my needs and had a desk to work on. the gym consists of a few dumbells, a bench that inclines, and an eliptical machine. breakfast was pastries / breads / oatmeal, served in a small room with no place to sit... so I ate in my room. SO... on the whole worth the price paid, happy with my stay.

The room was small but decorated nicely. No air conditioning but nice breeze from open window. Staff was highly professional and courteous.

The staff was super helpful and the location was close to bus line and trolley. Only 2 complaints are size of rooms, which are probably par for course in downtown hotels and air flow in the room. We like it cooler and the rooms tended to be a bit warm and hard to cool off --

My experience with this hotel is a rather pleasant one. Location is the best part about the hotel. 400metres from all major transport networks and major shopping stores. Service was good. They helped me safe keep a baseball tickets one month prior my arrival, gladly helped me print my airport shuttle confirmation ticket. Housekeeper was attentive to details. As this is no luxury hotel, the rooms were smaller if you made that comparison. But it worked well for me and my wife. Breakfast was simple. Nothing to rave about but its good to keep you full. With regard to the noise, yes, you can hear some noise but its not earth shattering. As an advice you could try to get one room that is not facing the main street. In all, 4 stars for a good value for money hotel.

Near the Powell Street (@ Market) Muni stop. Surrounding neighborhood varies between ritzy and dodgy. The hotel itself is nice, boutiquish, but I could see how anyone could easily get in. The hotel actually has rooms for one with single twin beds. There was a small fridge, somewhat stocked but left enough room for my things. The bed was comfortable. There was a large closet and nice bathroom. I had two rooms here. The first was on the 2nd floor (room 217) and the window opened onto a landing shared by other rooms. It was also across from the ice machine so the staff gladly changed it for me. My second room was on the top floor (510) and had an inside courtyard window and felt more spacious because of the design. Most of the staff are very friendly and great. The breakfast is on the 5th floor and is "grab and Go" so there's nowhere to eat except your room. They had a nice selection of danish that was in stock until the breakfast hours finished (7-9am). The neighborhood leaves a LOT to be desired if you walk two blocks in the wrong direction. I would stay here again.

Hotel is well located, clean, decent price, but rooms are small and the breakfast is not up to snuff

We were attending a conference that was based at the Hilton and Moscone Center. This hotel was placed perfectly, for much less. It was very clean, modern, and the service was terrific. I highly recommend.

Very good staff, very professional and polite

The hotel is located at a very convenient place where it is accessible to good restaurants and shoppiing. The staff was very friendly and very professional. The room is small but what do you expect for the price which is great! You are rarely in the room so size didn't matter to me. The breakfast is just a continental breakfast nothing to brag about but convenient. Like the security of the building and access to the floors. Internet was complimentary which is a plus especially if you are combining work and leisure. All in all, the hotel is excellent for the price and I would recommend it and stay there again.

All hotel staff were excellent, friendly and did whatever they could to make the stay enjoyable. Room was average and water pressure in the shower and taps were very poor. Rooms could do with more sound proofing as close to nightlife areas. Good location - walking distance to good shopping areas and tourist areas in san francisco.

For the price and location, a good deal. I paid about 600 CAD total for a four night stay in march. Pros: location, decent condition of hotel, complimentary tea/coffee/water and a "quick" breakfast to get you going. Cons: rooms are a tad smaller than the big chain hotels. But considering the wifi is included and worked quite well, all-in-all good. Probably good for couples, would be a bit tight with small kids.

The hotel location was great, right in the heart of the Financial/Union Sq district but it is also directly on top of a night club, which is SUPER LOUD and stays open until 2 a.m. I was staying a Wednesday night for business and did not get any sleep at all. The rooms are also beyond small. i didn't mind all that much because I was only there for the night, but if you're planning on having more than one person per room, don't stay here. my colleague stayed there also and got a free upgrade, which involved a double bed.his words in the morning, "i forgot how small a double bed was." mine was a small twin and i could kneel on the bed and almost touch both walls with my arms stretched out. room is clean though but don't go for comfort....or sleep.

Very small cramped rooms. No luggage space .Noisy disco 2 floors below.Convenient to town centre and conference centre..Not a holiday hotel

Hotel is clean and staff is friendly. Great Location. Room was small but good enough for the little time we spent there. I would recommend this hotel.

I absolute loved this hotel. It was clean, close to everything. Public transit, which was great.. bars, great dives and upscale restaurants, shopping galore and easy to get to all the city's attractions. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the city. The rooms are small, but that's to be expected in San Fran. The rooms were clean, complimentary robes are provided, shower pressure was good, housekeeping was on top of their job, and the free breakfast was actually better than I thought it would be. I would definitely stay here again when I return to San Francisco (which will be soon)

The hotel was what I hoped it would be: extremely clean. Convenient location. The only complaint was a little noisy due to being an old building--someone above me walked around constantly and the floor was creaky. Doors not very soundproof (wide gap at bottom so i didn't feel private when talking on the phone since i could hear conversations of people walking by. But very happy overall.

Hotel was fine. Nothing to complain about, but nothing to really compliment either. Served it's purpose.

I arrived very late on a friday night. the music coming from the club on the first floor was so loud and there were so many people out on the street waiting to get into the club that I surmised that I wouldn't be able to get a good night's sleep there. I also decided that I didn't wanna deal with the neighborhood; the hotel is located in the tenderloin. I decided to stay at the marriott union square instead .

Was disappointed that for what I paid basically all I got was a bed. Unfortunately the location is what I needed to celebrate my birthday but there was very little room to walk even from the bed to the bathroom.

Great location and great price. Rooms come with hair shampoo, hair conditioner, body lotion, and bar soap, hair dryers, safes, irons and ironing boards. Writing desk, mini bar refrigerator, with very reasonable prices on the mini bar items. Breakfast contained rolls and muffins, oatmeal, apples and oranges, 2 juices, coffee and tea, nothing special but nice to have available. Very limited hours, the breakfast is served from only 7-9 am, and you must bring it back to your room on a tray as its not served in a place with tables and chairs. The workout room is not much of anything, a bike, a treadmill, a set of free weights with a bench. and a sit up bench. Better than nothing, but nothing to write home about. The only downside is there is a nightclub in the building, and you can hear the loud music at night - thankfully I was too tired every night from my day of sightseeing to be bothered by the noise, but those more sensitive to noises at night might want to beware. Will absolutely stay here again for the price! Walgreens, Starbucks, and numerous restaurants, from diners to 5 star places, all within 2 blocks, and the BART to the airport is 1 block away.

The hotel is perfectly located, close to the BART, to the Tourism Office... It's quite easy to reach any place walking from there. The rooms are quite clean. I had an ice machine in from of my door and it was a little bit noisy, but nothing important. The breakfast is limited but perfect for a short time there. I will for sure recommend this hotel to anyone that plans to go to San Francisco.

The room was very small...there was only room for a twin bed. The bathroom was decent size though. The hotel was pretty inexpensive, so I thought it was decent for what I paid. Location was perfect...near the BART, trolley & metro stops.

My husband and I stayed three nights. What a perfect location! The hotel was great - accommodations were ample, staff was helpful and courteous. Hope to return soon!

Great location staff is great homey atmosphere great staff clean as whistle and kept that way. Not fancy Breakfast is juice coffee and all kinds of danish and other junk that is not good for you. You can get away with some fruit coffee and juice OK. There is a great breakfast place two blocks away from Hotel and also Starbucks I would go back Room size is small like other Hotels in area but cleaner and newer. Size is workable for usual visit.

very impressed with this hotel with one exception. cleaning staff knocked on door and abruptly entered one evening, after room had been cleaned earlier in the day. not sure what that was all about, so my recommendation is to use your dead bolt.

There was a loud, inconsistent buzzing in the radiator system that kept me awake all night. My single room resembled a small dorm room, with a twin bed and pilled sheets. That said, staff is friendly, the hotel is neat and clean and it has great location near the Powell Street BART and is just a couple of blocks from Union Square.

Staff was very helpful & friendly......I appreciated the nutritional oatmeal & fruit included for breakfast, which saved me money. The room was a little small for my 2 week stay, but very clean. Plenty of places to eat & see in walking distance.....even a great live jazz restaurant 2 blocks away on Ellis St.

Very centrally located in the city, near to the cable car station at Powell Street, so going about visiting places of interest is very convenient. Many restaurants & shopping centers are very nearby. However, my room doesn't face the main street, so I could sleep in quietness at night. Would recommend to travellers looking for moderately cheap and good accomodation because it comes with free internet access, breakfast and coffee making facilities.

Hotel Fusion is the perfect hotel for a few days in San Francisco. Comfortable, clean, well-priced, polite and friendly staff, large breakfast, free Internet, and close to everything. I could not have asked for more.

Wonderful stay for one or two nights and probably the most convenient stay for the surrounding area for the price. Great place just small.

My second stay here for New Years Eve. Last year, much nicer....Now, unfriendly and uncaring desk, not accomodating...broken elevator...very small room. When trying to get size bed in order, I was told that I could cancel and make OTHER arrangements--Like THAT is possible on New Years Eve! Kinda smart aleck comment and not what you want when requiring service. VERY Close to gangland area of tenderloin--sirens all night and dangerous streets. I would not stay here with my girlfriend for safety reasons. My last time staying with Hotel Fusion.

The attention to detail is amazing from the mints on your pillow to the waffle towels that match the pattern of the furniture. The location is perfect too. The single rooms are not for those wanting lots of space, but the affordable price and conveniences in the room more than make up for it.

First of all, let me say that this was definitely the BEST value I've found in SF hotels. The rooms have a modern design and are very clean. Also, I was surprised that it was so quiet, given just how close the hotel is to Union Square and Powell Street. My ONLY gripe is that, because it's so close to these very busy areas, and the streets are so narrow around there, it's tough to coordinate getting the valet parking,...especially if you happen to pass it once. Took me about half an hour to get back around the block.

This is a nice no frills hotel. It has a very good location, close to Moscone and in good neighborhood. They have juice/milk/coffee/tea, apples/oranges, oat meal, and various pastries for breakfast. Can't complain about it.. Rooms can be noisy though. So, don't forget ear plugs.

I stayed in Hotel Fusion with a friend who was visiting and I had a couple of days to show her San Francisco. The hotel is a fantastic base for your trip as it is really close to a Bart station, it is right in the city center, near Union Square. The room was much better than I expected. The bathroom was huge and very clean. Hotels in San Francisco are always expensive but I think that the price of Hotel Fusion is good for the quality that it offers.

We chose this hotel because it was the only one in the Union Square area that had no bed bug reports posted online. The room was very clean and the service was great. The valet parking was also convenient and affordable. Another plus was that the lobby offered free coffee and tea, which was very convenient. All in all a great hotel for the price.

I booked for 3 nites at Hotel Fusion. I had previously stayed there in 2009 and years earlier when it was the Gates Hotel. My first night was interesting and problematic. There is a club on Ellis called Infusion. It was loud for me...and I was on the 4th floor. I could hear that "boom, boom" sound even on my floor. I finally had enough at around midnight and went out. When I returned around 2 a.m., it got better. The bothersome sounds went away fairly soon. The next morning, I mentioned this problem to the front person. He did a good thing in upgrading my room and assigning me to a different part of the hotel. After that, I didn't have a problem with noise. The club was closed on Thanksgiving Day and I didn't notice anything on Friday evening. One thing was puzzling about the room. There was a coffee maker on top of a desk presumably for writing or for placing a laptop. Problem was...there was no outlet. This part of the room needs an outlet. Luckily, my connections were long enough from the outlet used for the tv and it reached the bed. For future visitors, please note that the club downstairs can get noisy and the people lined up to enter the club can get rowdy as well. Aside from that, I had a decent time. Plus, they have a light continental breakfast from 7:00 am. -- 9:00 a.m. There is a small 24 hours diner at the corner of Geary and Mason. It's called the Pinecrest Diner. I had a turkey plate for lunch on Thanksgiving Day there.
