I will stay there again

Compared to my last experience with a receptionist's bad attitude at Hyatt in Irvine, my stay here at a Comfort Inn was simply a refreshing experience. About this Comfort Inn..... I walked to the front desk and was welcomed by a smile. Her name is Yanee and she was very courteous. Room was extremely clean ... maybe a bit small but that was fine. My room faced the main road (ventura blvd,) so during the day, you could hear the traffic but it's fine in the evenings (especially if you have the air/heater on that drowns out sounds). Morning breakfast was a simple continental stuff ... cereal, pastries, oatmeal, coffee, tea, etc... Close to everything ... Denny's is next building and Todai Seafood Buffet is half a block away. Other restaurants are close by ... all within walking distance or less than one mile. So glad I made my reservation at this motel. Also got a great rate here .. Hotels.com. I'm very satisfied. Will stay here again.

The room was very nice, and the front desk personal were very friendly. Nice and satisfying breakfast, enjoyed the free Wall Street Journal. And, there was convenient shopping plus a starbucks around the corner.

we were there for a family event, and very convenient,Rooms( we rented several) were comfortable, clean, service good(we had sevral different people checking in,all off Hotels.com).Staff very friendly,helpful,Bkfst buffet was OK, sufficient, Wall St Journal every day for a paper, news on in bkfst room. Our last PM, the Denny's in the front of the hotal had their carpet cleaned 12 midnight-1 AM very loud, that AM, Taft High School across rd had jackhammeringh going before 7:30 AM--but a very nice hotel, woud stay there again.

When my daughters and i walk in they said it smelled like urine . The food was horrible fake eggs ,hard sauge NASTY WATER DOWN ORANGE JUICE. BUT THE MOST DISCUSTING PART WAS HUGE BED BUG BITES AND FOR THE MONEY I SPENT FOR TWO NIGHTS PLEASE!!!!!!! i will never stay at this hotel again SORRY.........

Don't expect too much. Depending on your financial standing, this could be an OK place for a low budget stay or a disappointment for someone who thinks that for a little less, you get a little less. The place needs a major make over. The lobby and the cafeteria looks OK, but the rooms are only so so.

Our room was VERY small. I felt the price was high for the room we got. Continential breakfast was basic. They boast a 3 star AAA rating, but really should be a 2 star.

Hotel was very nice, clean and comfortable. Was in the area to visit family and enjoyed my stay here.

For the price, you'd be pleasantly surprised at how nice and quaint this hotel is. Our room was smaller than the other hotels but the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and the ac was quiet, sounded like a soft hum. Parking was no issue except for one night when it was full but that's because the hotel was booked full. The staff was friendly, efficient, and understanding. There was no noise problems coming from other rooms, the roads, or freeway. Nice, safe neighborhood, i trusted that our belongings were safe and protected; the hotel is also in front of a school. Only bad thing is the breakfast which tasted like plastic eggs and fake bacon and theres a long wait because its in a tiny room, with one wafflemaker. I recommend skipping the breakfast and doing your own thing (dennys is right next door) we did not go to breakfast our second night, def needs an upgrade bc it was pretty horrible ( and we've had breakfast from other hotels which fared as gourmet cuisine compared to this one, trust me). Theres a nice hot tub and pool to enjoy, and cable tv. I would highly recommend this place for an inexpensive yet comfortable stay for a short trip and you can bring your own food for a quick breakfast or go somewhere bc the breakfast problem is minor.

The Comfort Inn in Calabasas was clean, convenient, decent food, good price and good value

Our room was clean, the bed was just fine, bathroom was clean, plenty of closet space. The only issue I had was that, while wifi is available, no public computer was available. I had to go to PostNet to print my boarding pass. It was close by, but cost $6.00 to print my boarding pass. Otherwise it was a comfortable stay.

definitely needs to be upgraded from a two star, our room was totally redone, painted, carpeted, all new furniture and shutters on window. wonderful firm mattress, recently remodeled all of the front facing units, a very adequate and varied morning complimentary breakfast and newspaper. good value, small negative we had to wait an hour for our early check-in for 12pm, was ready at 1pm.

It is just any regular hotel. Nice things are the free breakfast and wifi. The one thing I won't forget was the bed wasn't as comfortable and the room seemed kind of small.

Once booked in, the room I received had a very noisy, buzzing mini frig. The console it was contained in amplified the buzzing and I knew I wouldn't get to sleep at night. Changed my room location and the same thing happened with yet another buzzing mini frig. Had to pull the entire unit out of the console and set in on the carpet to stop if from buzzing when the compression turned on. Fortunately, unfortunately, the was 24/7 restaurant right next door. Their parking lot was really noisy with patrons coming and going at 2am, slamming car doors, talking at the top of their lungs and beeping their horns! Then the people on the floor above me had to be walking around at 3am and talking loudly. Put it simply, everything was loud their. Luckily, I was only their two nights.

Cool place if you need to stay in the area, very reasonable

This is a very clean hotel/motel right across the street from Taft High School in Woodland Hills. The bed was very comfortable, plenty of storage space and overall, a very pleasant stay. Front desk was very helpful and efficient. This place is very well run.

The hotel was close to Universal Studios and the Ocean. It was close to resturants and take out, grocery store and Target. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was really nice and the beds were comfortable. Not the really hard ones.

I love this hotel and can't wait to go back!

This is an older facility that has been updated. If your room is in the rear as ours was you will be right next to the Ventura Freeway and the highway noise does penetrate the room. This is not a deal breaker though. The LA Times is free and available everyday including Sunday which was a nice surprise. The front desk people are very courteous. Our room did not have a microwave. We were told some do. Shopping is right down the road and the location is great if you need to take the freeway. Parking got tight over the weekend evenings. There is a Denny's next door. Perhaps some of their diners used the available parking spaces. There also is very limited handicap parking spots.

I went to see the Harry Potter marathon at the theater and needed a place to crash for about 5 hrs. My room was comfortable and convenient.

Was nicely surprised at how nice the hotel was. Staff was very nice and let me do a late check out while I waited for my husband to finish up an interview. The breakfast was SO much better than expected. Everything was fresh and delicious.

The bathroom was dirty. The most uncomfortable bed I've ever had the displeasure of sleeping on. The house keeping didn't come until 5:00. The towels felt like they hadn't been changed for an eternity. The continental breakfast was rediculous and the coffee undrinkable. I will never stay at another Comfort Inn as long as I live and will tell everyone I meet how horrible my stay was and recomend they stay at a Motel 6 before even considering your hotel.

this hotel is alright, however, there is a Best Western right down the street that is way better.

The hotel was recently remodeled and the room was beautiful. I have a bad back and the bed was more comfortable than mine at home!! Breakfast with waffles (included) was a plus, as well as the 20% discount at area restaurants. Right off I-5, but little traffic noise. Close to Topanga Canyon (try the little shop with the pirate motif for great deals on vintage clothing and more), and just uphill from Malibu.

The hotel room was very dark. The wallpaper is very old and the ceiling is discolored. There was something in the overhead light that I hoped was not a bug. Breakfast area looked drab and dusty too. Did not appeal to appetite. I checked in on the recommendation of a business I was visiting in the area, but I could not sleep there. So I went down the street to the Holiday Inn Express. Much cleaner, brighter, nice bed linens and plush towels. Much more updated.

Room was clean and average size. Came with a refrig., microwave and coffee. Denny's next store. King bed was firm and very comfortable. Value for the money in California.

Hôtel confortable et plutôt silencieux malgré qu'il soit coincé entre la Highway 101 et une route importante de l'autre côté. Les chambres disposent d'une double vasque, d'un frigo et d'un micro-onde. Il y a un super marché et une banque juste en face. L'accès à la Highway 101 est hyper simple et permet d'aller à LA en moins de 30 min. La piscine (taille moyenne) et le jacuzzi sont un plus et ferment le soir à 22h.

Das Hotel liegt liegt zwischen dem Freeway 101 und einer Hauptverkehrsstraße. Das bedingt, dass man immer etwas vom Verkehr mitbekommt, vor allem wenn die Türen nicht richtig abdichten. Der Frühstücksbereich ist ein Witz, was bedeutet, Pappteller vollladen und im Zimmer essen gehen.

Godt hotel i forhold til prisen.
