We were suppose to have no smoking room but it had a strong smell of smoke. Bed sheet was so rough that we put our t-shirts underneath to sleep. Restroom was old and looked dirty....This was a nightmare stay..

For the price I paid it was fine The help was friendly there was coffee & donuts for breakfast

From the nightly price, I knew that this would not be a high quality place, but I was willing to make some sacrifices due to an extended stay (5 nights). The hotel is conveniently located, near the Interstate. The buildings are old and in need of updates and repairs. The staff with whom I did interact were very friendly and helpful. Although I felt safe and secure, I would not recommend this for a woman traveling alone. My biggest complaints about my stay are as follows: 1) I had a non-smoking room, which in and of itself was fine. However, the pillow cases and sheets that were put on my bed each day smelt heavily of cigarette smoke. So, either the laundry staff is chain smoking while washing and drying the linen, or they aren't getting the smell out from the smokers. Either way, it was very unpleasant. 2) The carpet was so dirty that I had to purchase shower shoes at a local store. 3) The "bath mat" provided each day was merely a hand-towel. That may not seem a big deal to some, but for a 5 night stay, this was bothersome to me. 4) The bath and shower were extremely narrow/small. I would not stay at this hotel again.

Perfect motel for the money. Staff was very friendly, room was comfortable. I felt safe in the motel. Unexpected breakfast was only cereal, donuts juice and coffee but was fine for an eat and go. Will stay here next time I am in Columbia.

The hotel was very conveniently located right off the highway, on a main road with lots of local shopping and eateries. I dealt with several employees there, and the night staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, a bit old and worn, but overall pleasant. They had many more amenities than listed, so that was nice. For the price, I wasn’t expecting much. But we were very happy the hotel, and will most certainly book with them again in the future.

The beds were old and sagged with uncomfortable springs. Breakfast consisted of only cereal, O.J. and coffee. There was no complementary shampoo, conditioner, coffee maker or any other perks that would have helped out their ratings. I wouldn't stay here again.

you get what you pay for but all in all it was quiet and nice

If you want a place to just sleep, this is good. One of the two rooms had a stint of mold smell. Would consider sleeping there again.

this hotel was a real dump. Old, needs paint, new fixtures, new furniture, new tv, new mattress, and on and on.

The hotel, although good, was not in the best condition. The receptionist seemed tired and irritable after dealing with another customer but tried to warm us to us. They also did not have any shampoo in the room for us when we asked her for some. The pool had people swimming in it but due to our time constraints, we couldn't go swimming. The room was comfortable and clean enough and reasonably priced being so close to the aiport which we needed due to our early flight. Like my wife said, the hotel was good for a night for what we needed but we would not want to stay on an extended vacation there. All in all, a decent place but not great.

It wasn't until the third day, after I complained to the office that we had a visit from housekeeping. We were told that if you have a "do not disturb" sign on your door, that housekeeping passes you by and doesn't return to check on you later. That might be as early as 8:30AM. So, if you're not out of your room early in the morning, don't expect to get a visit from housekeeping that day. We discovered at check-out, after four days, that they served a continental breakfast in the hotel lobby. We were not told about this at check-in, and there was nothing in the hotel room telling you about the hotel amenities. We will not stay at this property again.

I was very surprised with this establishment! It was much nicer than I expected it to be for the price that I paid. There were no bugs, the heat worked, and the staff was very kind. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean room for a resonable price.

We were in SC for graduation at Fort Jackson. Only a 5-10 minute drive from the Fort and staff was great as well as very comfortable rooms. I would recommend anyone staying here. Four star service at a two star price!

We only stayed for one night, were passing through the area and only needed some sleep before continuing on. Check in and out was very fast and efficient, front desk person was very nice. I was very worried about this place after reading the reviews but it was fine.

Absolutely disgusting hotel! Cockroaches alive and dead! The smell was nasty - popped popcorn in the microwave to help with smell. We just crashed here - and I woudl have rather kept driving!
