was actually pretty nice. the neighbourhood is not great but during the evening we got a cab. has a really nice view of the Nashville skyline.

Vagrants walking around in hotel parking lot & in walkways between office & hotel room. Felt unsafe in neighborhood. Did not have room cleaned by maid, asked to swap out dirty towels for clean towels from maid, she said no, said I would have to go to front desk. Breakfast was a joke - bread & cereal, watered down tang. Left hotel for short time & came back to find man/worker in room with door wide open, said he was fixing AC which was working just fine. He stayed more than 30 minutes with door wide open, tried to get ready while worker was in room. Then he decided he needed to wipe down the walls behind the TV and by the bathroom for another 10 minutues. They need to clean walls when the customer is not in the room. Felt like he was scoping out the room - very uncomfortable. Not a safe place for women or families to stay.

Well I will say that a friend of mine and I stayed here the weekend of March 30-April 1st for a hockey game and after reading the reviews here I will say that I surprised. First off the area is NOT as bad as some say here. Its in an industrial area but the closeness to the city and surrounding area is great. The price of the hotel which I will say is being remodeled as we speak was awesome. Its not expensive and to lay your head down after a night of drinking on Broadway or after a game its well worth the stay. Overall I was happy The bar called Music city row which is located inside the hotel is a nice down home dive bar with friendly staff and cheap booze. We ended up starting our days there and ending our nights as well and the owner is just a real sweet woman. Now for the cons... I had an incident with one of the staff members in the parking lot in which vehicles got into some damage. All was great while we were there and the other party took care of what needed to happen. after we left the hotel this person decided to change their story and LIE to make me out to be the guilty party. All is well now but how can you stay at a place and recommend it when the people there LIE.

Just got back from a good weekend in Nashville, stayed at this place Friday and Saturday night. $5 cab ride to Broadway/Bridgestone Arena. Great little lounge! Well worth the price. The only disappointing thing about this place is the manager. When we arrived he ended up backing up into our car. At the scene, he was apologetic and said he'd take care of it, as he should. Now that we're home he's attempting to blame us for the accident. Needless to say, I cannot wait to go back and ask for an explanation, face-to-face, with Mr. Patel. I'm sure it'll be a enlightening experience for at least one of us :)

My husband and I booked on Hotels.com very conveniant/cheap price. Cab fare from this location to Broadway and 12th ave was on only 6 bucks for myself and husband. The surrounding neighborhood is a bit uncomfortable, very seedy looking. Our room did not have an alarm, so I requested a wakeup call for 8 am, did not receive the call. Thank goodness we didnt have immediate plans or reservations, we did loose a couple hours of our vacation sleeping. TAKE AN ALARM OR SET YOUR CELL PHONE. I DO NOT recommend this for families with young children. The bed as many others have stated is wrapped in plastic. So there is a crunch crunch every time you roll over. Our particular room had new carpet, smelled fresh and was very clean. The Tv is outdated, very few channels were available. But who am i kidding you pay cheap, you get cheap. Overall not soo soo bad.

The Knights Inn Nashville - Downtown appears to be in the middle of renovations. The room was fairly clean, however, the layout of the room was very odd. The beds have covered holes above them (possibly former light sockets) and the placement of the lights in the room was odd. There was a light between the beds and one on the opposite wall, next to the television. The television was placed in front of a piece of artwork and there was NO mirror in the room (just the bathroom mirror). The desk was in the middle of the room (not near any outlets) and the mini-frig and microwave were on the floor. There were no usable horizontal surfaces with exception of the small desk. The hotel might be better after the Wyndham renovations. As a side note, the free continental breakfast was lacking - 2 cereal options and a loaf of bread next to a toaster. The 'orange juice' was actually powdered Tang tangerine drink. The breakfast room was NOT well kept or clean.

Hi guys I stayed for a week in March, 2012. A little dated in some ways, but good value for money. Yeah sure its on the outskirts of downtown, but really its a $7.00 taxi ride into Broadway if you are to lazy to walk. Its about a 15 minute walk to LP field and 20 mins to Broadway. I caught a taxi back when travelling back at night, but to be honest If I wasnt from another country and on my own I would have walked back. If you are after a sterile, cotton wool type Disneyand type experience this place is probably not for you. I had no worries at all, the rooms were clean, made up every day, reception staff and management were professional and pleasant. Night Security guard was friendly and in tune with guests needs. Great short term place to stay and close to the action without the ridiculous price tag.

The surrounding neighborhood seems a little sketchy, but the overall quality of the hotel is quite good, especially considering the price. It's about a mile to downtown, which isn't bad at all either.

I recommend this place for price and location only. The maid service was inadequate. They would knock at 9am (even with a do not disturb sign on the door). If you didn't get your room cleaned then, it didn't happen.

Had two separate electronic systems to manage hotel reservations and rooms. It took an hour and a half to check-in. They charged two of my friends cards even though the rooms were prepaid. (I finally got them to realize this and void those transactions.) One of the rooms was still dirty, bed unmade, trash can full from the previous guest. I really could go on for a while. One redeeming feature? CHEAP

This motel is in a bad part of town, so ladies traveling alone or families should avoid this motel. For me, I was enjoying the weekend with 2 male work collegues and had no problem with the neighborhood. (Although I would advise checking in during the day.) There were 2 beds, a TV and a mini fridge along with a toilet sink and shower and closet area. For 3 guys who needed a place to crash after enjoying Nashville til the wee hours of the morning, it suited us just fine. Plus, it was a $6 cab ride away from Broadway.

Neighborhood is scary. Building is run down. My wife was so afraid that we blocked the door with the desk that was in the room. Under the bed sheets was plastic foil so every time one of us turned in bed it produced awful noise. Very uncomfortable. We needed it for one night so we survived the night and left.

There was a concert in town and I had no where else to stay... I wanted to be close to City-Center but on a budget..... It is what it is... But it is a dump... I wouldn't say it is the worst place I stayed, but I will have the place burned into my memory as 'one of the worst'.... As far as people's review of the neighborhood... It is in an industrial park.... There are not rainbows and unicorns running around here, just Peterbuilts and Freightliners.... I will not stay here again however... I will make other arrangements with my schedule before I stay there again... or I could always sleep in my car.....

I have to say that the room was value for money when all you need is a room and a bed with wifi.

We had never been to Nashville to visit. So we choose Knights in threw the internet. We were very pleased and felt very welcome there. The price was right and the room was great.

AWESOME stay!! There is an old school lounge at this location, the lounge staff was great, and I was minutes away by cab to everywhere I needed to be!! Great Stay!!!!

This hotel was the cheapest we could find for our weekend trip to Nashville. There was no frils about it and served our purposes just fine. The rooms were clena but still had a grimmy feel to them. Overall it was suited our party just fine.

Hotel was exceptionally clean, great location to downtown bars and lp field, staff was very friendly and the night time security guard was excellent, only down fall was the plastic on the matresses..from other reviews I read: I found no bugs, water was hott and great pressure, and for arriving back at the hotel at three thirty a.m. we didn't see any dangerous activity going on...overall great stay and will def be staying there again

Not realizing where this hotel was, I was in a hurry when I booked it, it is in a very bad part of Nashville. When we (4 girls) arrived back at the motel around 1 am we were escorted to our room " for our safety "! The rooms are dirty and smell, the plastic is still on the mattresses, im guessing so if there's a murder they don't have to replace the mattress! I would not recommend this place to anyone!

Going to Nashville for the first time to visit a friend, I needed a place close by to stay in for a couple of nights. Knights Inn was the closest place. From the outside, I felt the hotel would be bad due to it's location, but when I actually stepped in the lobby of the hotel, I was attended to right away with friendly service. For the low price of the room, I didn't expect much of it, but it was actually better than I thought it would be. The two king beds were neatly dressed, the towels and washcloths were clean and fresh with little bars of soap, the bathroom was clean... EVERYTHING WAS CLEAN! My only wish was that there were more channels for the cable TV, but it was no big issue. The house keepers came and cleaned up the room while I was out; it was much needed for the mess we made. There was easy access to drink machines, ice machines, and a laundry room. The environment was even quiet; I heard no noise from other rooms. All in all, I stayed two days and had a blast just in that room. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who just needs a place to stay for a few days.

The staff was friendly and the room was modest. It was very convenient to downtown night life. For the price it was a great nights sleep. It is more of a business district than residential. We will stay here again.

The hotel is inexpensive but you get much less than you pay for. We booked a non-smoking room but received a smoking room. The hotel clerk was uncooperative and very rude. He refused to switch our room unless we payed for a second room. In the end we left and walked across the street to the Days Inn. Hotels.com helped us get a refund.

You can't beat a nights rest for the bargain price that Knights offers! Room was sanitary and customer service was satisfactory. This hotel is in a rough patch of town, but there was a hotel employee that walked around rooms with a stethoscope for placing on the door--- listening for dangerous activity. That was comforting. Don't travel alone or late and all's well.

You get what you pay for. It was a clean room, but the bed still had plastic wrap on it and the sheets barely fit. The towels were tiny and thin, but hey, at least there were towels. The surrounding area is not nice, but it is a short jaunt across the bridge to downtown. Overall it served it's purpose as a place to stay but certainly not the most luxurious or comfortable.

It' s a good hotel not to faar from downtown (25 min footwalk) and it has a perfec location to go to LP Field to watch football.

Room okay for just a place to sleep. But A lot of Homeless people around, asking for a dollar. Would rather stay in a nicer neighbor hood for the same price.

old hotel, went budget but will pay more next time - hotel had obviously had some work done (painting, bathrooms, mattresses). While I appreciate the new mattress, I would prefer that the plastic that it came wrapped in was removed! It was nearly impossible to sleep with the crackling that the plastic made every time you moved. Realllllllly bad neighborhood - there was a very loud argument outside of my room at 3 AM. Convenient to stadium, but that was not my reason for visiting - a little inconvenient to get to Broadway.

This hotel is good for the money. Its a good location and works good for short stays.

Was just a bed to sleep in so the price was right. I would not bring my wife to this hotel though.

Worse motel I have ever stayed in, the rooms are really dirty, the staffs are way to friendly and was talking with me as I am their childhood friend, the surrounding area looks like filled drug addicts, i had 6 Korean exchange students with me, and theu didn't want to go back home.

Nothing amazing, clerk was a little cranky. Overall, comfy and clean. Was fine.

I went to Nashville for the weekend for a football game road trip. Just needed a room to crash in at night. The hotel is about a mile away from the stadium. Was an easy walk back from the stadium to beat the traffic. A $7 cab ride will get you downtown to the bars and pubs. The beds weren't that comfortable but couldn't beat it for the price.

hotel was clean, staff was polite. I only had problems with a few things, they could have updated the bathroom and my sink had absolutely no water pressure; it just kind of sputtered out. The shower pressure was fabulous though. The location is a bit easy to miss, it's directly of the highway and it's driveway is right next to a gas station, so it is easy to drive by the first time, as I did. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay and would go back if the need arose.

the knight's inn was a great hotel. i would happily stay here again. What a bargain!

a great deal for the price. comfortable, and clean. nice pool. we would stay there again.
