We were welcomed with fresh lemonade and given a welcome packet and map of the island and towns. In our room we found fresh fruit and a bottle of wine. The room was nicer than the photo online, and the view from the balcony and room was spectacular! There was an ipod in the player when we arrived playing relaxing music in the room. The room was large, as was the closet and bathroom. The shower was large with a bench and hand shower in addition to the rain shower. The linens were heavenly, and the bed was very comfortable, and had the firmness / softness that is common in North American luxury hotels. The pool and bar area is the kind of place you never want to leave. It has the santorini ambiance that you see in photos and hope to experience. The pool is a little on the cool side, so we used it sparingly. There is also a warm pool in a cave room that we used in combination with the cold pool. The staff is so friendly and helpful! They obsessively repaint the white walkways, so there is no sign of wear and tear in the hotel grounds. The breakfast that is included is served on your private terrace from a good menu. All the food at the hotel was excellent. We were hesitant about the location not being in Fira, but actually Imerovigli is nicer. The only competition for the area is Oia, which is very cute, too. There is a bus stop 2 minutes out the door of the hotel which goes to Oia every 30 minutes. You can walk to Fira in 20 minutes.

Luxury hotel, loved our stay with only drawbacks cost of food and drink and some small signs of refurbishment in room required. Staff were excellent and the pool area in particular was heaven. Upgrade provided and very much appreciated.

My fiance and I had the most amazing stay at Chromata. The location was perfect, only a short walking distance to the main town of Fira, but far enough away that it was quiet and serene. The view from every inch of the hotel is stunning, overlooking the caldera. The service was possibly the best I ever had, and I stay at many 5 star resorts. The last night we had a delicious dinner, and our waiter George was so attentive, funny and made the evening that much better. Can't wait to return.

This was a fantastic place. The General Manager of the hotel greeted us and offered a night at San Antonio Suites which was also spectacular. The next day they offered us a senior suite which was the most spectacular room I have ever been too. This is a one-of-a-kind place,

"Beautiful Hotel with Excellent Service"

Had a great stay at the Chromata. We stayed in a beautiful suite. The room and bathroom were huge and beautifully decorated. The room had an adjoining jacuzzi and a nice patio overlooking the Caldera.
Breakfast was served on our patio each morning. The food was excellent and varied. Roula and Lydia were very helpful with any needs that we had.
We can't speak highly enough of this hotel.

Chromata in Imerovigli is a heavenly retreat. The hotel is charming - curved, whitewashed buildings overlooking the dramatic volcano.

Wir haben traumhafte Tage dort verbracht. Es stimmt einfach alles - der Service, die Lage, das Zimmer, die Terrasse, das Frühstück, die Aussicht (einfach magic), etc., etc.!!! Wir waren schon in vielen schönen Hotels an Traumdesdinationen, aber das Chromata in Santorini ist einfach etwas ganz spezielles! Einfach nur zu empfehlen!
